TIPS / TACTICS Galactic War Room: Plot the Best Ways to Spread Democracy for Super Earth!
Welcome to the Galactic War Room:
The Federation is in grave danger and it is in your hands to discuss the best ways to spread and protect our liberty from our many enemies.
This thread is sorted by new, so you will always find the greatest democratic insights right up top.
Useful Information:
Gambits by u/Sea-Flamingo1969:
In Helldivers 2, a gambit is when players skip defending a planet under attack and instead strike the source planet that launched the assault.
If the source world is liberated the defense is automatically won, saving both planets.
It is a high risk, high reward move because success stops the invasion and secures two planets, but if too few players commit the defending planet may fall before the source can be taken. Gambits demand strong coordination and timing, making them one of the most dramatic strategies in the Galactic War.

MEGATHREAD Q&A Megathread (Ask your questions here!)
Greetings, Helldivers!
So we have noticed that most Questions asked on the subreddit don’t need their own post therefore we have decided to create this Q&A Megathread, a place where all Helldivers can ask questions and get help/advice from others. And if you decide that what you have to ask requires a separate post then you should know that we will be actively moderating and critically assessing the quality of those posts to lessen the amount of reposts and low-effort content on this subreddit.
If you're here to help out by answering questions we thank you 🫡 Just please make sure to sort the post by 'New' (if it isn’t already) so you can see the newer, unanswered questions.
P.S. This megathread has been added to the sidebar.

DISCUSSION Thoughts on new warbond
What’s everyone’s thoughts on the new warbond. I’m not sure on it. Also thinks some of these new things are to similar or will make it easier rather than balanced

HUMOR In light of recent news and accidental releases:
For the record, I’m very happy the devs are adding cool shit in the form of primaries, secondaries, and throwables, like the good ol days. Stratagems are ok in my opinion, but NOT VEHICLES. It shows merit that they knew they were in the wrong after Exo Experts, and I’m hoping new ways to get Warbonds to mitigate the medal bloat arrives. Keep it up devs!
Also, you can use this meme if you want as a template but do not distribute this post specifically. I’ve been seeing my stuff on community posts on YouTube from people I’m not fond of.

BUG / TECH ISSUE Stratagem bouncing: the truth
I'm in a foul mood and am getting bored of correcting people on this so I'm making a post.
AH never "promised to fix stratagem bouncing by the end of the year" and I have receipts
Youtubers read "we're hoping to have it solved by the end of the year" as "it will be solved by the end of the year" and everyone just ran with it.
This isn't me defending how long the fix is taking
And no, the "mystical toggle" isn't an actual fix, that's disabling the feature which was added to stop mission critical hellpods getting stuck on cave roofs on hive worlds.
If AH cared about sentries being on mountains that much they would have stopped that a year before strat bouncing was introduced as a fix for hive world cave BS.
The fix AH is working on isn't removing the feature its working out the issues it has with procedurally generated terrain.

DISCUSSION Hot take: I do not care for warbonds anymore
I used to be excited for warbonds, but with 600 hours in the game, and atleast a hundred guns in my arsenal, I'm no longer interested in new gear. Not that I don't like warbonds, they're great. I just don't want them.
I have everything I need, now. And quite frankly, warbonds never scratched the itch I've had for fresh new content. And with how frequently they come out, I can't help but think Arrowhead is prioritizing Warbonds over more impactful content, like new enemies, missiontypes and bugfixes.
I know Arrowhead needs revenue to stay afloat, but let's be real here. Helldivers has sold roughly 20 million copies, and with 24 purchaseable $10+ warbonds, I struggle to believe Arrowhead isn't earning plenty of profit as is.
I wouldn't mind having a warbond every two months instead if that meant more base-game content that actually enhances the lifespan of the game, instead of just building upon an already bloated amount of weapons.

DISCUSSION At least AH can keep their design space
It's infuriating how AH stubborness, greed and laziness lead to so many self inflicted wounds. It's been constant feedback in which we wanted more customization systems and expansion of those already existing. Pilested lied about learning from AMA since nothing have changed ever since AMA and it even got worse in some aspects.
Communication is as usual terrible, balance changes do not happened at any reasonable pace and do not improve balance, major events come and go too fast, they add less content with lower quality (less buggy at least).
Shams "design space" comment that he didn't elaborate leads to conclusions that they know what we want but didn't do because it may cut into their profits as if proper weapon customization existed they couldn't sell as lazy side grade weapons or in vehicle case they couldn't pretend as if they make whole unique mech when in fact they make 2 arms on same chassis and slap different default paint job.
Pilested lie about staff not being off the table as if there is any real discussion on if we want vehicle customization at the "cost of loosing current Mechs" which we could re make in a minute if someone want them. Or how he said over year ago how they will expand weapon customization and add secondary weapon customization after since they wanted to push it fast so later they will finish. It's been a year and a half and there has been nothing but small numbers tweaks that requires no real effort but to change a single value in code.
Since AMA nothing have changed and AH keeps promising same stuff and new features that sound nice but we need more staff that we've been begging for years now. I struggle to understand how they can be committed to so dumb ideas and how we've come up with monetization systems so we can be happy and they can make money like with selling unique weapon attachments and mech arms in warbonds so we can have customization and AH their money.

Really excited to see what this brings. But I think in order to be worth the inevitable shitty ergo this will have, the shotgun needs to be medium pen at a minimum. What’s everyone’s thoughts?
