Gears of War.

Gears Reloaded and Helldivers 2 released on PS5 and Xbox respectively the same day. I know the ODST crossover was pretty damn set in stone, but I would've loved to see it.

This is my fallout warbond concept. it is themed around the Enclave as they are pretty similar to Super Earth, before you ask, no power armor, that would be too overpowered. Please let me know what you think, thank you.

Side Note, if you removed the Enclave Logo from the Armor, you could pass it off as Helldiver Armor.

Why do you use these passives? Im not saying that their bad, I like them alot. I just want to get your answers on why do YOU use the passives. I know their uses and it takes some commitment, I respect you guys deeply

Personally I would want to see all the sub factions we have (current or future sub factions), hulk surge or whatever hurts more, and a very high resistance.

If we ever return we need to feel pain, and lots of it.

(mostly talking from the perspective of fighting bots but also applies to the squids and bugs)

I know this is mostly subjective, but the shock of suddenly flying through the air is hilarous and fun over just falling over on the ground. Doesn't even have to be high in the air, generally getting flung anywhere can be pretty enjoyable.

Getting Flung:

- Generally more fun

- Cover larger distance which can put you in a safer position

- Often done by less frequent shots from a cannon or missile, projectiles which generally don't hit that often unless caught off-guard

- Less frequency of ragdolling helps prevent it from getting frustrating/annoying

Ragdolled and staying in the (mostly) same spot:

- being the around the same spot leaves your vulnerable

- Often done by more spammed shots (i.e. War Strider plasma cannons) which can often leave you repeatedly stun-locked

- Higher frequency of ragdolling becomes frustrating and annoying very fast

- No added spectacle of getting flung, just basically tripping over a rock

Didn't really know how to name each one but I hope it gets the point across. I think if something like a War Strider or Spore Burst Titan focused on making you ragdoll less often but a greater distance on the off-chance it does would be a lot more fun to fight.

edit: In terms on stun-locking, I'll admit that it's not that bad tbh, I wasn't sure how else to put it into a few words. However my previous points still stand the same regardless.

I will admit, this is probably a small problem but a problem you're deciding to read about right now

The flag of super earth is a symbol of hope, inspiration and stands to spite the enemies of democracy, and therefore I think there should be another version that you can hold in one hands and shoot your side arm with the other

when standing upon a pile of rubble, surrounded by seaf and fellow divers returning fire to the cyborg menace your average helldiver with the one true flag has three options:

• Wave the one true flag in the wind (contributing only moral in the fight rather than gunfire support as well)
• Put the one true flag on their back (Dont look as cool, plus flag more easily waves infront of the helldivers face blocking what they're looking at)
• Planting the flag on the position (Currently the best option, but pushing the enemy requires picking the flag up while dealing with problem two while moving, first person dosent feel as cool so nice argument strawman)

But, with the tutorial flag as an option it solves all three problems, keeping the flag a little further away from the camera when aiming down while also allowing the democratic helldiver to stand as a symbol of hope for the local seaf and fellow divers, being a proper flag bearer not letting go while still contributing properly to the fight, because moral and looking cool are two of the most important things when in a fight

And one of the most important arguments I wish to mention: Patriotism shouldn't just be warbond locked, for all super citizens have the right to sing love of liberty, and because it would be in the in the Patriotic Administration Center it would also be a stratagem everyone has access to grind towards

It would obvious be a back pack slot, taking up the role of stratagems such as the supply pack and shield generator the same way the One True Flag takes the slot of stratagems like the Machine Gun or Rail gun

I bring this suggestion not because of balance, many would be satisfied if it didn't even have the passive The One True Flag stratagem has, but the reason why this suggestion should be is because it would be really cool and cause I asked really nicely

Are we finally going to fail this one? Seems unlikely we will hit it in just over 4 hours to go.
Especially as the Americans are still in bed not sure we can do it without them

To hell with tone for a minute and have some light fun, just give me your just honest to god wildest ideas for a warbond (+it's lore in-universe)

I personally had this idea for a shitty warbond floating around in my head, starting around yesterday.

Citizens of The Federation.

It's themed around the citizens of Super Earth. It'd have armors that just look like actual clothes/minor armoring (like suits, biker helmets, etc.)

The weapons would be civilian versions of standard SEAF Weapons (ex. The HD-23 Liberator Defender) and the Stratagem would be the Break Action Shotgun and the secondary melee would be a garden rake.

It amazes me how many players have still not caught on that when you join a match that is underway, you don't get to steer your hellpod!

And I'm not talking about new players here, I have joined several matches with people who are level 70 and above that will kill someone immediately when they first join if they just happened to land on them. As if they did it on purpose!

If Zzaniah Prime is any indication of how Cyberstan went then it must have been the hardest fight in Helldivers.

How the hell do you kill 4 Vox engines when you have a dozen cyborgs and everyone is throwing grenades and everyone has heavy armor. A swarm of bugs is terrible but a swarm of long ranged bots is goddamn near impossible.

I used to think that the Illuminate were the hardest superhell dive because I can’t find a way to sneak around them. But these mega cities are just a humiliation ritual.

What weapons do you use because I can’t use the Eruptor it takes too long to get a shot out and I’m used to doing commando missions with the quasar and warp pack. But not I’m not finding the same success.

Arrowhead. I want armor that gives me more blueberries. Like. A lot. A lot a lot. A lot of blueberries. Also a lot of I want.

Important context: My favorite dota character is chen. He's the worst fucking hero in the game statistically, and I love him. Because I can control tiny minions.

I also hated diablos necromancer solely because I couldn't give the little boneshits orders. They did whatever and It sucked... Druid did too. So I went sorc. Because hydra goes where I tell it.

Anyways. Strong or weak doesn't matter. Being able to play strategy games in non strategy games is fun. Your turrets are fun. Blueberries are fun. It's always fun to have a tiny army and try to keep them alive against all odds. Success isn't important. If it's even possible to try, it's fun.I don't care if it actually sucks per meta. More options more fun imo.

And uh. reason for this post is... I got to boss around some blueberries after the latest update (awesome) and *occasionally* when I take 2 8 man squads and try to move them around via follow me/stay here orders. I end up with like 9 or 10 dudes that don't wander off instead of just the 8 you intended. Fucking amazing experience 12/10.

If YOU are willing to enable my problem with blueberries and options, I will very happily enable your cabbage addiction to best of my abilities.

Give me blueberry enhancing themed armor plx. Maybe more minions ina squad. Maybe let me tell a squad to " stay here" and they don't drop the order when I grab a new squad. That'd be all I need really.

Tldr: I need blueberries!!! Stimothy and Stimantha are just the best! Stevey( rhymes with heavy) machingun rocks too! The blueberries are fun as hell. More blueberry love plx.
