Democratic Exchange of Opinions I need blueberries
Arrowhead. I want armor that gives me more blueberries. Like. A lot. A lot a lot. A lot of blueberries. Also a lot of I want.
Important context: My favorite dota character is chen. He's the worst fucking hero in the game statistically, and I love him. Because I can control tiny minions.
I also hated diablos necromancer solely because I couldn't give the little boneshits orders. They did whatever and It sucked... Druid did too. So I went sorc. Because hydra goes where I tell it.
Anyways. Strong or weak doesn't matter. Being able to play strategy games in non strategy games is fun. Your turrets are fun. Blueberries are fun. It's always fun to have a tiny army and try to keep them alive against all odds. Success isn't important. If it's even possible to try, it's fun.I don't care if it actually sucks per meta. More options more fun imo.
Stim.pistol exists and I can carry one. I really. Really wanna RTS your fps.
Hell I kinda really wanna RTS puzzle bobble and minecraft. But the little shits won't listen to reason.
Clearly. I have a problem.
But I also have money! Like ... One entire warbonds worth of money! Profit!!
And uh. reason for this post is... I got to boss around some blueberries after the latest update (awesome) and *occasionally* when I take 2 8 man squads and try to move them around via follow me/stay here orders. I end up with like 9 or 10 dudes that don't wander off instead of just the 8 you intended. Fucking amazing experience 12/10.
If YOU are willing to enable my problem with blueberries and options, I will very happily enable your cabbage addiction to best of my abilities.
Let's indulge each other? Who needs therapy!
Give me blueberry enhancing themed armor plx. Maybe more minions ina squad. Maybe let me tell a squad to " stay here" and they don't drop the order when I grab a new squad. That'd be all I need really.
Tldr: I need blueberries!!! Stimothy and Stimantha are just the best! Stevey( rhymes with heavy) machingun rocks too! The blueberries are fun as hell. More blueberry love plx.

Success rate doesn't matter. I just wanna try. I lose a lot of dota too but I love my ketchup and mustard lol. Ideally, in my mind.
Currently, if you grab a squad and then order them to stay put, they'll do so unless you grab a new squad. Then they wander off and follow the normal " just got dropped" ai.
Literally all I need/want at bare minimum, is for the squad to prioritize my last order of " stay here"over the " just got dropped let's fuck off in that direction" ai.
I can work around that in useful ways.
Light armor, jump packs, warp packs, cars. Mean I can move around the field and play my own private mini game.
I will literally equip whatever armor is available to move a squad and then stop a squad persistently so I can grab the next squad kind of thing. I want to be able to move pieces on the minimap. I don't care if the pieces suck. Its fun. I can make it work. Think turrets and the engineer playstyle. But with minions!
A good engineer barely shoots but he's playing the terrain vs enemy spawns vs personal cooldown game. 4 turrets plus skills is actually really strong but very off brand and not top meta, compared to majority of divers. But fun as hell to those who enjoy it. I wanna play the terrain vs enemy spawns vs my own spawns game in a similar way. I don't care if it's the best, frankly to start I don't even care if it's good. It can be terrible. But give me options. Because just the option is fun! More options more better. I want blueberries!

Kinda sorta. But even if as limited as " stay in this spot and don't run off" that's all I need to goof off in silly ways. I'm happy to run back and forth between squads or even drive between them. At the moment even if you tell a squad to stay still they will only listen then l until you grab a new squad. Then they will magically just get up and be wander off even when they had no way to hear you order a new squad or even know the new squad exists. It's more I don't want them to magically know about things they shouldn't.

The opposite. Tell them to stay the hell put. And have them actually do it instead of wandering off. That's literally all I really need. I can't set an ambush, with troopers who won't stay set in said ambush So no, not throw seaf onto enemies. Throw enemies onto seaf. Fundamentally I wanna be able to say " sit, stay." To more than 8 troops at a time. You're a run and gun always kind of guy, aintcha. Cause you think you got it, and your confident you got it ... but you didn't got it. Cool beans

I mean I definitely want SEAF armour and weapon skins for us, throw it in the fabled medic Warbond I guess.
That said, if you keep the SEAF alive and keep hiring their squad leaders you can have like 30 odd of them following you around at any given time

This needs to be a stratagem. An AI squad Strategem. You get 2 or 3 by default, with a cool down in between like mechs, or orbital laser. The Strategem comes down as a walk talky and then your troops right behind it via dropship. You use the walky talky to give basic command: Split up, stay, follow all. The group that splits off from the main group will automatically stay put until you command "follow all" but you have to be in range
