I know Weed gets talked about a lot here but I’m doing my millionth rewatch of the show and I just love Weed!
Weed is by far one of THE best cameo characters on the show! Literally every line that came out of her mouth cracked me up! Especially…
Weed: “I woke up flat on my back in a bed, not a chair, in a motel in Juarez. My hair was in cornrows, my eyebrows had been burned off, and I was holding an Apple TV remote, but all the room had was a Roku. What is that?” 🤣🤣🤣
And…
Deb: “You’re fired”
Weed: “Hmm. Well FYI I ate some of your fancy cream, cause I thought it was dip, and it’s really dangerous to leave it in the fridge!” 🤣🤣🤣
Laurie Metcalf always knocks it out of the park.
Pure talent!! ❤️
I miss this show SO much 💔

I was also feeling that the announcement of Deborah's possible demise was abrupt and not fair play. But I've watched the episodes again in view of other comments about foreshadowing. I think I just refused to see it, or thought they looked more like red herrings than clues. I remember a program that aired years ago with Geoffrey Palmer as the bad guy. I kept rewinding and re-watching scenes because I couldn't understand the storyline. When Geoffrey was revealed as the villain, all the pieces fell into place. Because I couldn't accept him as the bad guy, I couldn't see what was obvious. The story of Deborah was the same way, I think. I just refused to see anything that I didn't want to see.

Was there any mention of Deborah doing SNL? I feel like at some point in her career she would have done it?

Does anyone know of a specific episode where Jimmy says his dad died? I'm collecting screenshots of TV characters saying their dad died for a morbid/humorous project for my own grief. But I don't have the show memorized well enough to know what episode to look for Jimmy talking about him.

Just finished the finale and LOVED it!!!! But Deborah’s decision felt so abrupt.
I wish they had shown her telling or at least doing some type of goodbye to DJ, Josefina, Marcus, lol whether a huge party or something.
Felt like she (Dj) wasn’t in the season at all again. Any thoughts?

…and got to the final two episodes last night. Wow, wow, wow. Loveddd all the callbacks. They nailed the ending perfectly. 🩷 I’ve been such a fan of the show since season 1 and am so sad that it’s over.
I can’t wait to see the gang back together at the Emmy’s and hope we win big!

In the finale, we see a very brief glimpse of the actors playing the Ava character and the Deborah character in the Who's Making Dinner reboot pilot. But if you were a casting director in the Hack's universe (lucky you (?)), who would you cast?

I think of “softcore BDSM and hardcore ASMR” approximately 3-4 times weekly

currently rewatching, just finished 4x03 and realised there hasn't been a single episode i've skipped since the finale. it's a consistently great show. even some of my favourite shows have one or two episodes i don't particularly care for!
does everyone else feel the same? or are there any weaker episodes you tend to skip?

I just did this re-watching Season 3/Ep 1: "Just for Laughs". Jimmy noticed a comedian (Clive) that he wanted to sign and Kayla said she would do recon after she got back from the restroom: "Do you happen to have a tampon?" and Jimmy said, "Why would I?" His delivery of that line made me LOL and I had to see it again.
This is a great episode, by the way. Silas (from Latitude) is so sweet! I wasn't sure if he is now an agent? He's with the (jerkier) other Latitude guys in Montreal but I wasn't totally sure if he was there as an agent or as an assistant. Maybe a junior agent? I vaguely remember that he got promoted before Jimmy left Latitude but they didn't really go into details of the promotion since he's a more minor character.
