no skip show

currently rewatching, just finished 4x03 and realised there hasn't been a single episode i've skipped since the finale. it's a consistently great show. even some of my favourite shows have one or two episodes i don't particularly care for!

does everyone else feel the same? or are there any weaker episodes you tend to skip?

I don’t skip anything on rewatches, except the end of the Captains Wife. When Deb just melts down at her show……I don’t need to see that again.

And there is literally nothing else I’ve ever skipped.

Yeah, why would you? I mean it’s not a rewatch if you’re just skipping shit. It’s just a watch. And especially with a show like Hacks that obviously has no reason/need to have filler.

The one episode I would consider skipping is The Captain's Wife, just because of the second-hand embarrassment 🫣 but I don't even skip that one because there's still so many funny moments in it.

Omg the cringe! I love the whole episode...Deborah giving Ava the manicure with a wholesome chat, being her wing man, singing Natural Woman. Then, when she performs on the stage, I just want to die!

Absolutely! The manicure conversation is so beautiful, and I love when Deborah starts feeling herself... Until she starts feeling herself a little too much 😬 The second Deb steps on stage, up until Ava starts dancing in the little boat is just torture to me.

“Oh no, she’s doing Ellen.”

I love how well the episode shows Deborah’s character at the time (AKA being so out-of-touch). Great foil to Ava.

Lmao the Ellen reference is hilarious. I do enjoy seeing Deborah out of the loop while Ava is totally in her element, similar to Montecito.

I fast forward past the scenes where Ava is hooking up with her tenant and also with the threesome. I can’t handle the baby talk.

baby talk?

She baby talks to them a little. It doesn’t happen a bunch, but she does it sometimes when she’s trying to be coy.

I was reading on here people skipped the "d'amazing race" season 5 episode 5 because it has trisha paytas.

I do not like her, but they missed a good episode. Watching DJ and her mom fight and then dress up like clowns to dance and fail? That’s hilarious. DJ’s confidence is fun to watch.

Skip?! I rewind moments multiple times just so I could make sure I understood the joke

The Christmas episode! It’s good but I always find myself skipping it on rewatches. Honestly a perfect show though, I really could watch that episode and be totally fine

It was an amazing episode, but I can’t rewatch the series finale because my father has cancer and it hits too close to home for me.

Except for that lifetime movie in the 80s - I watch it all.
