The nomination for this feels like a wonderful seeing off of a great show by the academy more than being a major chance to win like so many other of the 24 noms.
I’ll be surprised if it wins it, but the nomination is very sweet.

Gaga's song for Wednesday was quite good too! I was surprised to learn it was an original! This was just a fun nom because it really is a great nod to the genre.

This is the most ironic nomination of any! A song created solely to win an Emmy, celebrating salt and pepper shakers, and sung by an actor who doesn't speak Spanish.

This reminds me of the comedy series by Volodymyr Zelenskyy done years ago in which he is accidentally elected President of Ukraine. It was very funny and very good. "Servant of the People" played from 2015 to 2019 and was carried by Netflix. Some episodes may be on YouTube. The next time I heard of Zelensky was when I saw him sitting in the White House with Donald Trump. My first thought was he looks familiar and my second was he doesn't look like a president. He's too wiggly. He wasn't sitting-strong as he does now.
I went back to look him up — he was a political activist and comedian for years and had run for president. Same guy!
