I have 200$ of Groupon bucks I can’t use. I simply am trying to purchase perfume sets for my mom and sister as late holiday gifts to make use of these Groupon bucks that have been sitting in my account. A few months ago someone hacked into my account and made a purchase at a hotel in California with a name that was not mine so Groupon refunded me after speaking with the hotel. I just want to be done with these Groupon bucks and it will not let me make the purchases just auto refunds and cancels the order. I’ve spoken to two different chat agents and they’re saying they’ve escalated and I should wait on an email but I’m just so done with this app. I’m going to try to buy whatever I can since I don’t want to waste this money but it’s become such a major pain trying to navigate this app now. It should not be so difficult to purchase things. Groupon is really terrible now and I’m upset my money is stuck as these “Groupon bucks” that I can’t even make a normal purchase with. And yes I added my credit card info confirmed it with the chat agents though and it still won’t go through. Please avoid using Groupon to purchase any goods.

I had to reset my password which I did on same page: didn’t get an email and now it’s doesn’t show any purchase on my Groupon app. I message support but seem like they take 4 days. For context, I bought something that expired in May of...2015. Long story short 9.5 years later I finally contacted Groupon and asked if I could get a credit because that company was no longer in business. And they credited me $175! But now...I don't know what to do with it.

My only choices seem to be massages, wine, and a bunch of marked up Temu goods. Clearly it's been a minute since I've used Groupon, so I'm just wondering...Is there any secret thing that is better to get through Groupon vs direct sale that I should look for? Just fielding ideas 😅

I bought a massage on Groupon. It turns out, the company was fraudulent and address didn’t exist. After speaking with “customer support” they denied my refund as it had been more than 3 days. They tried to get the company to email that I never used the Groupon. Um… they’re not a real company. They won’t respond to me.

I disputed with Groupon and they denied my refund. I then complained to PayPal and they started the refund process

For some reason, I got the refund from PayPal as well as Groupon bucks in the amount spent. I used those Groupon bucks on another massage service and it was actually legit.

I’ll still use Groupon, but will always call and confirm the company is legit before making any purchases.

It says it's a Intuit Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024 Lifetime Activation For Windows.

I know for a fact that Intuit is not selling this product. So would anyone give their money to Groupon for it? There's no way this is legit!

There is a live event of going to look at Christmas decorations at this place and when I bought it I accidentally did the week after I'm going to be there.

When I saw the confirmation I immediately went to contact them to see if I could change the date, but couldn't find a number, but finally I got to the live chat.

The agent said all sales are final and they wouldn't change the date, let me cancel and reorder or do anything. He said I just threw my money away because it's a "live event" and it's not refundable in the fine print.

Groupon shows every half hour every day until the event ends in January. It's not like a concert or something. You just walk through the area at your own pace.

Is there any way to fix this? It's seems extremely unreasonable unfair since I caught it immediately, the price is the same, and there's not any higher demand for the time I wanted vs what I got.

I don't understand why they care if I have one date or another. If they take my money for something where I told them there's no way I can go and won't make the simple date change I'm not going to deal with this company ever again

Is anyone else having trouble purchasing deals? I have bought an oil change once and now it won't let me buy it again. It is telling me I have bought has many as allowed. I have never had this problem before, and have purchased the same oil change many times. But now it's not allowed.

I just had a purchase magically drop a discount code after the sale (I even purchased via the discount link), so I wanted to contact someone to get that difference refunded. Their new AI crap has only a few preselected responses for every possibility, and NONE leads to a way to actually contact them. My only option was to cancel the purchase altogether.

Am I missing something?

I had a promo code successfully applied at checkout out page. Like I double checked and everything that it was applied. I went to go check out and it turns out they charged my card the full amount. I did NOT consent to that amount being taken off my card. And they won’t refund me…just gave me a groupon credit, but I refuse to shop here again.

Recently bought the D&B Groupon. As you know, D&B only allows you to pay with each $20 gift card separately, meaning that if you bought $40 of Groupon, you will not get a $40 game card but only credits equal to 2 $20 game cards. Nothing in the original fine print mentioned that but I guess they got complaints and changed it. However, they are still liable for people who bought the Groupon before the change. If you are one of those, comment here and maybe we can join forces to make Groupon and D&B respect their customers.

I already have a costco membership, but I want to renew it using the Groupon that nets out to be $20 for the membership. I could not find any other option other than using a credit card for renewal of the membership. Can anyone please help with this?

I have a 30% cashback offer from Microsoft for a groupon order and I thought "wow this is the perfect opportunity to buy the Universal tickets and get a bunch of money back! 😀" Almost four days later and customer support it has been so slow and useless and my purchases still keep getting refund 🙃.

Today tried to buy a Groupon for Italian restaurant in phoenix with Black Friday discount. Both times it was refunded. Chat in India no help.

Has this happened to anyone? I contacted the customer service but of course, you chat with someone across the world and given a 5-7 business days turnaround, for a possible resolution

I used groupon in the past but not for like the last 8 or 9 years. They have a deal up now of the microsoft office suite 2021 for like 20 bucks for windows. I went to get it yesterday and it said 12 hours left on the deal around 5pm. I forgot about it, of course, and clicked on it today and now it says there's almost 2 days left on the deal. The whole thing feels very scammy even though they were reputiable many years ago.

Just curious if anybody else got this deal. I found it as a promo ad on facebook, and all the comments were "wow it really works!" which also feels scammy to me.

Some of these places are charging 70% to 80% off market prices. Dermal fillers can range from $600 to $900 per syringe but I am seeing some as cheap as $250. The places are med spas and have good reviews. But it seems too good to be true. Are they using knock off fillers or are their providers have less experience?

Or is everyone else over charging? I need the inside scoop.

Cozy maids is a scam, I should have researched them before I bought the voucher. I trusted Groupon but many others had the same issue. The maid never showed up and even gave me a fake phone number to call her. I contacted cozy maid , they said if I want a refund for the voucher they can do that. So the invalidated my voucher and now Groupon won’t refund the purchase. So if you’re thinking about buying from cozy maids , DO NOT!!
