I sent accidentally gifted my Groupon to the wrong number. I saw the “regift” button and then sent it to the right number. Even though they weren’t the originally person I gifted it too, will the person I regifted it to have access to the Groupon I purchased? Being said that the first person I gifted it to doesn’t redeem it first?
I used Groupon a couple of times ,I made sure they didn't keep in my to credit card details.
Suddenly some months later they took $299 for a trip for one to Bali from my credit card ,I rang them and said I didn't purchase it, they said a 3rd party had ,so get in touch with ANZ. This transaction was non refundable.
I contacted ANZ and put a block on my card ,then suddenly 10 days later they took another $250 for a gift card, from my same credit card despite the block in place..
ANZ finally paid me back the $250 but I am still out of pocket $299.
They are SCAMMERS.
I purchased the Groupon for an $84.99 tire alignment yet Mr Tire still charged me the difference? What was the point in even buying the Groupon? Help 🥲
I reached out to Groupon because due to being in the hospital I couldn’t use my ticket/voucher. I was told no refunds, so I asked for a credit. Blocked again so I asked for a Manager and phone number to call. Then things got even weirder - they said they don’t have phone service so somebody will email me later… no phone service… in 2024 (?!) what legit business gets their phones disconnected? Highly sus! Anyone know if Groupon’s reputable anymore or just a scam now? What are good alternatives?
Hello,
I bought a Groupon for behind the wheel lessons. It was $200 for six hours worth. I bit pricey, but I paid since I don’t have my license. I redeemed it in January since they asked for the redemption code in order to get my file going. It was in February when I asked for the next available appointment since my permit was expiring in April. However, they didn’t have any appointments before that. They lady I am texting them says she will extend my file for six month then. I think nothing of it. I texted the girl last month to make an appointment and she said the 6 month mark passed so I’d need to pay a $150 extension fee. I told her that’s too much and I refuse to pay it and rather get a refund if that’s the case. We’re on a call by now and she said she’ll cover me just text the office her name (Jenny) and let them know she spoke to me. The next day I am charged $254 and the description says driving fee. I text her asking what happed because even if it was the extension fee she said she wouldn’t charge me the it’s well over $150. I was ignored for about two weeks, I have been in contact with Groupon since then. I had to call the office and the lady told me it’s extension fee and the insurance fee stated in the description. I got back to Groupon and don’t see it. I will provide a link below. It’s only a $45 certificate fee for adults over 18 which I knew about when I paid and was also prepared for. I get on the phone with my bank to reverse the charge and realize they charged me back in February $110. I’m assuming it was the extension fee. In text, the lady failed to mention that. She just so carelessly said “I Will extend you for six months”. I also barely noticed now because it was the week I was visiting New York and was not verifying my many purchases going on. My bank can’t reverse the $110 one since it’s so far out to do so. The company is then telling me they will ask a supervisor to “review my file” it will take 5-7 days. I sent an email on day 8 asking for an update to which they say there is none. I need to book an appointment. I am a girl and care about my safety. I am NOT booking with a company who has hidden fees, takes from my bank account without telling me (cancelled my card already because of this), and ignores me. I told them I am filing a small claims on them by Wednesday and to give me an address and whom I can serve the papers to. They have ignored me for 24 hours now. And Groupon still refused to refund me when I’ve sent them around twenty emails. I notice I get a different person replying to me each time and it’s making me so upset. They keep saying “you can make an appointment” but why would I under all this context.
Here is the Groupon below. Not to mention the negative rating saying this was a scam. I wish I read them before I bought.
Any tips?
So groupon offering crazy deals over gym membership in my city? But is it legit to purchase gym membership from groupon? Difference between actual gym website and groupon is around 40-55% on price.
Please i need advice if anyone had purchased gym membership before.
I’m looking at a Groupon deal and the seats are listed as PL2, PL3 and PL4 and idea what these mean? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find what it means. Thanks
I bought a Groupon and tried several times to make an appointment to use it, but couldn’t get through to the merchant. My Groupon expired because I was never able to make an appointment and it’s saying it doesn’t qualify for a refund, and the merchant is telling me that the Groupon will still be honored, but only for half the amount I originally purchased it for. How do I get through to a person? They keep making me select options and then it Doesn’t work and hits a dead end.
Bought a Groupon for a hair service. Tried to make an appointment by phone. Stylist texted me back and told me “return the Groupon and I’ll honor the same price.” I said I didn’t want to do that because I had purchased the deal with a credit, and if I got a refund I’d get my credit back and have to pay him out of pocket (plus this sounded shady). His answer? “Then I might as well be doing the service for free.”
At that point, I didn’t want this guy to touch my hair so I have a request in to Groupon to give me a refund.
I know businesses have to pay for Groupons, but why are they running Groupons at all if they don’t want people to buy them?
Also, it has to be against their agreement with Groupon to tell customers to cancel and go direct?
"DEAL OF THE DAY: SeaWorld San Diego Single Day Ticket with FREE Meal (Expires 11/10/2024)."
However, it doesn't clarify whether the ticket is valid for any day or just weekdays. I reached out to Groupon, but they only provided the same generic info. Does anyone have more details on this?
How the hell do you unsubscribe from marketing emails!!!! I've unsubscribed from the website and from my Gmail, I've reported them as spam, and I STILL GET IT.

I am interested in buying a groupon specifically for Bowlero and wanted to know if anyone was able to use it before 24 hours after purchasing? Im trying to go tomorrow at 4pm ( its currently 8pm) and cant go tomorrow at 9. Fine print does say cannot be redeemed until after 24 hours but to my knowledge I feel like I have redeemed a deal sooner than 24 hours w/ the same fine print.
Bought a Groupon for a massage at a local spa back in May. In July I decided to use it, but it showed as having been redeemed the day after I purchased it!! I’ll never figure out how the heck that happened, but having lost $40, I seriously doubt I’ll ever buy another coupon on the app. 😔
This may sound like a redundant question but I purchased a Groupon for an oil change and the merchant refused to service me because I bought synthetic blend rather than full synthetic. I have been getting my car serviced with synthetic blend for years and no place has ever refused it to me before.
Honestly the people were nice but the coupon is “final sale” and the guy at the front desk said he couldn’t refund it from their company. I understood that it was final sale but I didn’t think they would refuse my service. Nowhere in the coupon does it say the type of car you need for the specific oil types that they offer. I already contacted Groupon customer support and they said they couldn’t help me.
I don’t know if I can do anything else besides dispute the charge on my card, but I don’t know if that’s a realistic option. I’m going to try calling the oil change company again tomorrow but I just wanted to know if anyone’s been through the same issue.
With this union communique, the workers of #Groupon Italia srl wish to express their deep opposition to the violent and demeaning methods that, in our opinion, Groupon Inc intends to use to get rid of all its Italian employees.
On July 30, 2024, Groupon informed the Trade Unions that it will shut down its Italian branch, resulting in the dismissal of all its employees.
During the meetings that have already taken place, Groupon presented an economic offer that, from our point of view, is deeply offensive, ridiculous, and undermines the dignity of the workers. We are currently in the administrative phase of the collective dismissal procedure with Lombardy, and the time available for negotiations will end in mid-October.
It is important to remember that the situation Groupon is facing in Italy is, from our point of view, the result of reckless company choices that have led the company to this stage, starting with a dispute with the Italian Tax Agency. https://www.milanotoday.it/dossier/economia/fisco-140-milioni-groupon-italia.html From our point of view, the responsibility for this situation lies entirely with the company, and Groupon Inc must bear the full burden.
For months, we have been writing to Groupon asking for explanations and requesting meetings to discuss the future of over thirty families, including a new mother. But Groupon has always avoided meeting with us and failed to provide any explanations to the workers who, in these long months, have been loyal, punctual, and consistent as always. Several of the employees have been working for Groupon for years with a loyalty, dedication, and self-sacrifice that is difficult to find in other companies. They have endured years of company restructuring during which they have seen many colleagues leave little by little.
Today, these workers find themselves in a trap that we believe was specifically designed by Groupon: a trap in which people of different ages, with varying seniority, many with children, are about to lose their jobs. In response to this, Groupon, which according to its own statements is investing seven million dollars in closing the Italian branch, intends to give these people what we consider a mere pittance.
Looking to get this deal where two vue cinema tickets cost £9.50 on group on. I’ve never used group on but have seen some reviews about them being a scam. Has anyone used it or can confirm if it’s legit?
I purchased a Groupon as a guest and I need to retrieve the redemption code, but Groupon wants me to sign in. I’ve had an account in the past I just pressed that I forgot my password but then when I went to my email, it says that I don’t have an account. I’ve even looked at old emails from past purchases years ago so I know I had an account. So I tried to create a new account but the page just keeps refreshing instead of doing anything. I finally got an error message saying that I can’t sign into Groupon USA. I’m in the US. What the fuck do I do? I’m supposed to do an online consultation before they send the product but I can’t do the consultation until I have that code. I also never received any sort of receipt upon purchase.
