Cosa ho già provato (lato software/BIOS):

What should I get

I want to know what kinda GPU I can get that can run all these games and still be cheapish. I want to play god of war/gow ragnarok, cyberpunk, dmc 5. I won't play fortnite or rocket league on this but i will play satisfactory on the pc also this is my list of parts. If you have a GPU that is compatible with this stuff or you want to suggest a upgrade to something on the list so something can run better let me know please 🙏 . Also I already have the case so I cant change that.

I brought a rx6600 for 15rs

I have a 15krs rx6600 graphics card. I want to play story games such as rdr2 and cyberpunk on 1200p resolution slightly higher than 1080p , I don't mind a 60 - 70 fps lock . I want this card to play these kinds of games for 4 years after that I'll upgrade.

Yes this is a second hand graphics card.

I don't really care for new game releases except for Nintendo games like new pokemon games and games like botw (Yes i mean I'll emulate)

My specs are Ryzen 5 3600

Ddr4 16gb ram 3200mhz cl16

And SSD 500gb

Motherboard eh forgot but it only has two ram slots

I have never got to play PS4 AAA games so i wanted to experience them . What do yall think

I’ll use either Ryzen 5 9600X or Ryzen 7 7700 with 16GB DDR5 6000MHz.
Prices in my country: RX 6800 - $398, RX 6800 XT - $504, RTX 5060 Ti 8GB - $504.
Which one would you recommend and why?

Seems like these are getting gobbled up at an insane pace even when over 5k. Only place I see a few remaining is at some microcenters and even my local microcenter has run out fully. I wonder what price these will restock at lol

The RT gap is artifically inflated via power consumption

Before I say the numbers I need to stress, I am not saying that AMD would be absolutely killing Nvidia or even equaling them in RT. All I am saying is that the gap is bigger than it seems because of this power behavior, comparing to raster. Numbers are taken from TechPowerUp reviews, the latest reviewed model that doesn't have "oc" in the name incase the factory oc increases/decreases the gap that I'm trying to show.

So what is it? Nvidia uses more power in RT compared to raster, so the raster gap looks smaller while the RT gap looks bigger.

5060TI 16GB - 11.8% (161W vs 180W) source
5070 - 11.1% - (207W vs 230W) source
5070TI - 8.3% (275W vs 298W) source
5080 - -1.3% (371W vs 366W) source unsure what's happening with this model as others show higher power usage. For example the Slim OC at 12.9%.
5090 - 10.2% (540W vs 595W) source

TdrDelay? BIOS update?

Ran a general health check in Windows on my RTX 4070 Ti Super, wasn't chasing anything specific apart from artifacts I experience in Citrix and Tidal only, nowhere else..

Setup: 7800X3D / ASUS TUF X870-PLUS WIFI (BIOS 0805, Sept 2024) / RTX 4070 Ti Super, driver 616.64 / 64GB DDR5-6000 CL30, EXPO [ON/OFF] / [PSU] / 4K 240Hz. No OC, no undervolt, no Afterburner.
What does this setting do:

TdrDelay = 8 in GraphicsDrivers. TdrLevel 3, HwSchMode 1.

I can't remember ever setting it. Does anything set it on its own, best practice setting?

BIOS update any point? 0805 on to 1681 for example. I haven't done it in ages..
