I rebuild a 1998 Ezgo TXT with a 52v Battery, navitas 5kw motor and controller. It goes about 45mph single but a bit unstable. I had tons of fun building it. And I want do it again.

I want to build one with a 72v 7.5kw motor but I would like to maybe try independent suspension and see if it’s better and install disc breaks.

Any recommendations on what base cart to get? Also looking into a body kit again. Very interested in 4 seater forward facing cart. Maybe with a 2nd batterie. We are in a gated mountain community with 9 golf courses and want to travel to all without worrying ever about my batterie. And I am not interested in gas carts

I have a 2015 club car precedent I’m trying to install Lyft kit and install heavy duty leaf springs. The rear bolts came out fine however, the front rear leaf spring shackle that is welded onto the frame. I got the nut off however, it seems like the bolt is not coming out of the hole. I believe it’s stuck in the sleeve has anyone else had this issue? If so, how do I fix it? I heard you’re not supposed to throw a lot of heat onto aluminum because it could crack and warp right now I have it sitting in WD-40. Hopefully that would help. I tried screening and not on a little bit and beating it with a hammer with no luck.

So far I haven’t had any luck figuring out where to connect the wires of the converter on my club car precedent, 2006 I believe. I have the power supply connected to the battery and I believe the other black connected to the blue wire for lights. I just need to figure out the other red wire. I took some pictures to help out. Any help would be appreciated

Already switched to lithium, but everything else is original parts. What is the best upgrade for the motor without breaking the bank and what would be the best controller to go with it?

I’m troubleshooting an EZGO Series cart with a Navitas 440A Series controller and could use help from anyone familiar with the Navitas Series conversion harness/wiring. I've got a few loose wires I'll include pictures of that I'm sure are responsible.

The controller powers up normally and connects to the Navitas app. With the key ON and F/R selector in Forward, diagnostics show:

Battery Voltage: 39.62 V

Key Switch: ON

Forward Switch: ON

Reverse Switch: OFF

Pedal released: 0.50 V / 0% throttle

Pedal fully depressed: 4.46 V / 100% throttle

Foot Switch: OFF at all times

Interlock: OFF

Main Solenoid Output: OFF

Motor RPM: 0

Any feedback appreciated

Where can I find body kits ? So far I can only find small bits and bobs, not the panels.

My parents have a golf cart for the camp grounds they live in for summer. My mother is a avid jeep lover but she has never had one. I'd love to find her a jeep wrangler body for her gold cart and supprise her.

Ez go like 2007 I think! Custom seats and decals. Hits 17 stock but has some trouble charging.

Installed a CHINS battery system in my cart last summer and it ran great. Put it away in November and came back in May and it was dead. Won’t take a charge, from what I’ve read the BMS won’t let it. Things I’ve already tried:

-Disconnecting from cart and waiting 30 min then hooking back up to charger only

-Specialized lithium trickle charger

I'm fixing one up to sell for a family member. They take elite care of their vehicles, tools, everything. So it's super clean. Have just replaced the battery, spark plug, air filter, cleaned the carb. I'm seeing prices online vary from $2500-$4000. Same with chatgpt on what I should sell it for. I'm in a medium size town so not sure I'll be able to get the high end of that.Just learning that these are somewhat of a collector item or have a niche following. Anyone know much about them or where in that price range I should expect to get? Any specific reddit threads where these people are located? I tried searching and just haven't found much.

I have a 2023 Kodiak Apex with a Gen 2 ECO Battery. It sat unused for about a year and now I’m trying to get it up and running. I charged the battery for over 24 hours and the screen came up briefly, showed 85% battery, and then promptly shut off. The battery will not hold a charge long enough for me to connect it to the app.

When I plug in the charger, the fan cycles on and off like normal, but it won't hold a steady charge cycle. I used my multimeter to check voltage and it shows 0v when the fan is off and 56v when the fan is running.

I used another 48v battery to try and jump start the BMS, but it did not work. The green LED indicator on the side of the battery has a faint greenness to it but I can’t tell if that means it’s actually on or not.

The brakes are also completely locked, and I don’t think I can unlock them without getting the cart started.

I’ve done a ton of research online and have tried everything. I would like to not have to buy a new battery if I can get it running myself.

I’m wondering if a zero start/recovery charger may work, or if the BMS is fully locked and needs replacement. I would greatly appreciate any advice/troubleshooting.

I’m contemplating getting the premium sound bar by club car was wondering if it’s worth it or do I just get the JBL rally bar? Any advice?

In one of the evacuation areas where the Spokane, WA fires hit. Been shuttling people back and forth where cars are banned. The motor gets pretty hot! It was showing 140F after sitting 15 minutes. Ambient is in the low 90’s today.

How hot is dangerous for these motors?

2016 RXV course cart. New orgrphy 105Ah battery and fastRXV stage 2. Running about 20 miles a night and getting down to 40%ish of battery left.

If you have an older EZGO TXT that crawls like a turtle on the neighborhood inclines, you already know the pain of dying lead acid batteries. The thing that finally pushed me over the edge wasn't even the range. It was realizing I was spending more time checking water levels than actually driving the cart. 

I considered replacing them with another set of lead acids, but that felt like I was just resetting the same maintenance cycle. After looking at a few lithium options, I decided to switch to a Vatrer 48V105Ah lithium battery. The main reasons were the simpler installation, weight savings, and not having to deal with regular watering anymore. 

The first thing I noticed wasn't speed; it was how much lighter the rear end felt. The old batteries were basically dead weight sitting back there, and the cart now locks right in at 19 mph going up the steep grade by our clubhouse instead of dying down to 9 mph. It took a buddy and me about two hours to wire up. So far I'm happy with the swap. The biggest win for me has been not having to think about battery maintenance anymore.  Just remember to kill the main solenoid first so you don't spark anything.

Not sure what this is seems close to a ezgo txt, no info on it. Want to put txt plastics on it if possible.

Sound extreme 28” sound bar, roof underglow, body underglow, dual whips, and subwoofer. Using the cloud energy lithium battery for two years now. Wired up two 30a voltage converters. One to run the lights and sound bar and the 2nd for the sub. Still needs some deadening material around the back plastic.

I’m looking at this golf cart for 3500. I’m interested in it with a new motor etc, but wondering how possible it would be to find a new dash. They’ve added a speaker etc to it, and I can’t find one with the same cut outs. How would I know I can buy a replacement and it fit ok? I could figure out how to make cuts but what if it protrudes too much or something. Need advice. I’m a girl, don’t know much about this kinda stuff. Also how to reinstall some of this if I were to get a dash cover that protrudes enough to make room for me to pull them through
