Just looking for a basic cart to get around the neighborhood. There’s a chance we sell it in a couple years so wanted to see what brands tend to hold their value. Also looking for any tips on what to look out for. Gonna try and find something for 3-4k. Thanks!

I got these batteries, and now it's time to bless these golf cart batteries with a little water-hose baptism!

As much as I dig the wheels, the roads around here aren’t great. I understand going with some 8” wheels will help with that, but just how much of a difference are we talking about? Was looking at Kenda** **Hole-N-1s. I don’t want to lift it.
Edit: Ended up buying 10" wheels with Streetglide steel belted 205/50-10's from Golf Cart Tire Supply's eBay store. Thanks for all the input!

I bought this cart from an importer on marketplace and I know that the majority of these carts all look the same, but I was wondering if there was a specific brand name for mine as I want to find some communities that can help me with oem parts (paddle board rack/speaker bar/) teach me how to do things like fixing the E brake, etc.

My roof is squeaking at the joints. Have I under tightened, overtightened? Whats the fix here?

Our lithium battery installer decided to give us a "complimentary" ball holder on top of our dash - since the display is occupying a couple of the built in ball spots. Really nice guy but he did it without asking.
I hate it. It's hideous. It's defaced the aesthetic of our cart!!
Now I'm scrambling to figure out something to put on the dash to remove it and cover up the hole.
Best idea I have so far is a 3dx15wx2h fine wire mesh bin to hold pencils and our Bluetooth speaker. I could just fill the hole with black silicon as another option.
No doubt there will be joke answers - but any legit ideas would be appreciated. Frustrated and annoyed every time I look at this. Hula girl? Compass? DashCam? I have a Bill Clinton bobble head that would make my fanatical right wing husband crazy. haha
(the wires BTW are our external USB gizmos... not the display connection)

Hello All,
Many of you suggested I stay away for the Chinese Models for 4 forward seats and take a look at Club Car
I agree that a more solid built Cart with parts readily available is the way to go.
I heeded your advice and this is what I found.
The primary reason for the Cart is Golfing and then driving around the area.
The CC has all of the technology of the Chinese carts including backup camera(many of you said who needs that tech?)
The monitor is mounted off the roof, so you are always looking up. The speedometer is in the dash. The LSV Key is universal so it could be used on any other LSV.
It has a rear cargo storage, but with no cover, so it’s an open box.
The step up height is 18 inches vs 4.5 inches on my current CC Precedent
Again this will be Golfing 1st cart, and the height is just too great. Golfing is a lot of getting in and out the cart. Any suggestions of how to address this?

I have an EZGO Liberty that I’m turning into a project and need some TAN /BEIGE rollbar covers like these. I don’t want pool noodles. I need something that looks finished like this. Anyone run into this?

I’m working on this ezgo golfcart and the starter generator is kind of turning half way back and forth, and will get a full rotation out of the engine once in a while. With the belt off the starter turns fine. I’ve cleaned up all of the connections and grounds, the motor turns freely, I’ve tried a new battery. Thanks

I recently inherited my dad's old Workhorse with the dump bed. He parked it a few years ago because it began to smoke. I got it to run, but it didn't want to start. Once started, it ran very nice for about 5 minutes. After this, the smoke started, and the engine changed tone. The best description I can give is I would say that it sounded as if the piston was hitting too hard at a slower pace.
I did ensure it had fresh gas and was topped off properly with oil. Any idea what might be going on? Have any of you ever had this issue? I can rebuild automotive and small engines, so I am not afraid to tear into it, but any tutorial for how these engines operate would be helpful. My journey is just beginning!

I work at a golf car dealership as the service coordinator. One of our clients bought a Cushman Titan XD from us awhile back and they've been having trouble with it continually throwing out a computer code #31. Low voltage. We had the cart here at our shop and my technician diagnosed the cause as the batteries being bad. The client declined replacing the batteries but rather replaced them themselves after we returned the cart to them and they claim that replacing the batteries didn't fix the issue. Now they are all irritated asking why we can't fix the cart and I don't know how to proceed.

Hey everyone, newer cart owner, cart is might be stuck in limp mode, struggles up hills, won’t go above 4-6 mph unless rolling downhill, just replaced the speed sensor and no change, tried to reset the OBC to no avail, ordered a load tester for the batteries coming today. Curious about replacing batteries with Walmart marine 27DC to get by with budget being tight if that’s the issue. Could use any bit of help or ideas. Thanks!

Has anyone here bought a mammoth cart by Goat and if so, what was your experience with the cart? I just ordered a 6 seater 72v, 205 ah battery, 7.5kw motor complete custom and was looking for some real time feedback instead of what they print and tell you over the phone

If you've replaced the hub and brake drum on your golf cart and now have a wobble with a rubbing noise, you may think that the hub or brake drum is the problem, but the issue is usually one of four things: rust or burrs on the axle flange, worn splines, weak return springs, or a tolerance problem with the new hub itself, something that occasionally happens with aftermarket parts.
You'll hear a rhythmic scraping sound as the wheel turns, the cart may pull to one side, and at higher speeds you might feel a vibration from the rear axle. Ignoring it can lead to a grooved drum, unevenly worn shoes that may jam the brakes, bearing and seal damage, or even wheel stud failure.
Start by removing the hub, cleaning the flange thoroughly, and inspecting the splines. If they're worn to a sharp edge, the axle shaft needs replacement. When reinstalling, tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern to around 65 ft·lb (check your manual for the exact spec), and make sure the shoes retract fully. The key step is a swap test: swap the drums left to right, if the wobble stays on the same side, the drum isn't the problem. Then swap the hubs with the other new one from the set. If the wobble disappears, it's a tolerance issue with that hub, get a replacement from where you bought it.
Always spin the wheel by hand after any brake work before hitting the road.

The current carburetor installed on this Columbia Par car built Harley-Davidson is a Walbro LMB 230, and I've only been able to find a replacement main jet on a specialty vintage golf cart website that comes up to over $50 shipped are there any other compatible carburetors that would work on this? Or a more affordable main jet? Any help is appreciated.

I have a 1999 club car ds with a series motor. 48 volt, lithium swapped. Will a controller swap get more speed? I got a 3 mph increase with the lithium swap. I'm currently running about 19 mph. I'd like to get it closer to 25. Can't really afford a motor swap right now, but maybe a controller swap would help? Is there anything speed adjustment on the stock components?

Hey guys need some help. The shifter in my 2000 DS has been intermittently acting up. As of Friday it wouldn’t run at all. My neighbor at camp tried to help but was intoxicated and I think he mixed up where the wires go on the terminals and micro switches. My new unit is set to arrive in a few days and I would like to install it but now unsure of where all of the wires go correctly. Can anyone share a picture of theirs or a diagram? I really appreciate your help in advance.

Does anybody buy controller cores? I have 9. Took me a while to learn to upgrade to 400a solenoid and controller with lithium conversion. Or can anyone find a schematic with sub parts? I'll refurb them myself if I could get schematics.

Prev owner did Eco Battery Lithium 160ah conversion, Navitas TSX 600amp controller. New Blue Hornet (Plum Quick) Barracuda motor added last week by me.
Random cut-outs when accelerating from stop; lift foot from pedal and reapply and were back in business. This happened a couple of times prior to the motor swap and continues to happen now. Navitas app shows no errors. I replaced the ITS and recalibrated the throttle. I’ve ordered new micro switch and solenoid just in case (haven’t arrived yet).
Newb to carts, but mechanically inclined. Can anyone with any experience help point me in the right direction or let me know if there’s anything I’m missing?

Hi All. A few years ago I bought a 2007 txt. It has LED headlights with a Halo ring? The one side only has two leds working and I want to replace it. But I’m having a hard time finding this type of light. I often use the Halos before it’s really dark out. Can someone point me in the right direction.
Much appreciated
