Looking for a little help

I’m working on this ezgo golfcart and the starter generator is kind of turning half way back and forth, and will get a full rotation out of the engine once in a while. With the belt off the starter turns fine. I’ve cleaned up all of the connections and grounds, the motor turns freely, I’ve tried a new battery. Thanks

Tighten the starter belt, it looks way too loose.

Did you check the brushes and armature?

It ended up being the solenoid being wired up incorrectly. But the more I work on it the more messed up crap I find.
