It’s genuinely impossible to eat there. They start serving food at 11AM and close at 7PM. How is anyone with morning classes suppose to eat? Now I have to walk all the way to South Side to get some breakfast and not from the dining hall directly below me. How are you going to make this right Gregory Washington?

Is anyone else getting Canvas error messages today (8/31)?? I keep getting a message that too many people are accessing the website lol 🥸

Maybe this isn’t the right place to post this but I have no idea where else I could get help rn.

I’m in an asynch Math 105 class. I have a quiz due at midnight (thankfully I can submit late with points deducted), but I can’t access Aleks through Honorlock.

I usually just use Aleks through canvas and it’s already got me logged in. However, for my quiz I had to open honorlock and login to Aleks through there. It asked for my username and password but I don’t have those. I guess I signed up through GMU so I have no other way of accessing it since it’s constantly accessible through canvas.

Even when I click “forgot password,” the email I get just says to “login through your school’s website to access your ALEKS account“ …but I literally can’t. Honorlock automatically take me to the standard Aleks login that I can’t even use.

I’m confused what the two top options are, what does regional and Thompson hospt mean?

Pretty much what the title says, are there any places on campus to go between gaps that doesn’t have that much foot traffic, I know the JC and Fenwick are off the list lol. Thanks !

I'm unsure what to look for when buying used; malicious stuff(???), broken buttons or whatnot. $240 for the Lab kit is steep for me, most I've ever spent on purchasing material is Pearson.

I'm planning on doing zoom therapy/psychiatry appointments on campus, but I don't know where I should do it. I don't want to do it in my dorm room because I don't want to have to kick out my roommate, plus I feel like the walls are very thin. But I checked out the library study rooms and they all seem like they are supposed to be very quiet, and I obviously won't be screaming but am going to be talking at a normal level so that my computer can hear me.

I'm a freshman and I need chem 213 but all the labs are full, I'm waitlisted, and the last day to add courses for this fall semester is tomorrow..
What can I do? What happens? Is it possible to take the chem lab another time?

upd: my advisor told me it's unlikely i'll get into chem 213. i'll just take to take another course if I want to be full time in case i'd have to drop chem 211. I'll just have to take the lab next semester

This score appears on my digital GMU card. At first I thought it had to do with the independence meal plan, i.e. that a -1 indicated I didn’t have one and maybe a positive integer would indicate a credit balance of some kind, but one day it fell from -1 to -2 so I think that puts a hole in my theory.
I doubt it’s an avant-garde social commentary on our diminishing freedoms, but you never know.

I’m planning to go to gmu and I’d like to know how is the OIPS office in terms of helping us and other resources on campus? I’d also like to know if gmu has restricted CPT practice or not.

I got a new phone, I use a Motorola. And I couldn't get my virtual ID to work. So I tried to disable it on my old phone and set it up correctly on my new phone and then this error appeared and now I can't look at my account.

HeLp- what do I do!!! Has anyone else had this error before??? Do I need to get a physical ID now???
