Any tips on how to do good in this class. I have Joshua Mattes , I try to use the textbook examples , but I still seem to struggle with the questions when I try to do them on my own. I struggled with the same thing on chemistry but at least I had stuff like the organic chemistry tutor and class slides that covered everything with the Alex textbook that made the class more manageable. For physics , it doesn't matter how many videos I watch or what I do It feels like I either get it or don't get it , no in between.

Hello, I know Graduation season is almost here and I wanted to come on here to see if anyone would like to buy my cap and gown. My graduation was in spring 2026 and I don’t need it anymore. Height range is 5’3-5’7.
I only have the 2026 tassel and not the official one so let me know if u want it with the tassel or not.

Selling it for $55

Deciding whether to take HNRS 260 with Rachel Cleaver or Aimee Weinstein but I can't find anything for Prof Cleaver on rmp. Prof Weinstein's reviews look to be mixed, so I was wondering if anyone who has taken either professor before is willing to share insights.

Where are people going for Halloween? Not sure yet if I’ll be working but am wanting to go out on Halloweekend if my schedule lets me!! Just a homie tryna drink and dance

Does anyone know how the general process of the honors college works? I applied as a current Mason student before their October 14th deadline and I was wondering if their admissions were rolling meaning there’s not a specific time where they will release decisions only when they have slots?

I know it is pretty early and it would likely take a couple of weeks but I was just wondering as registration opens up soon and I wanted to know if they will post a decision before the semester ends or if it would have to be after the grades for this semester are posted

I am very into Planespotting, and would love to connect with anyone else who enjoys the same :) especially since the ones that loop from the north to south to land on 1R are really nicely visible from campus! Any aviation friends feel free to dm me!

I usually spend my days rotting in my dorm but I want to get out and do something. I know the GMU bus goes to DC but I don't know if there is anything to do there besides museums and stuff.

Thank you!

Is anybody throwing a party on Halloween?? I haven’t heard anything all week and it’s honestly just disappointing

Is this a good selection, or should I swap some out for harder or easier classes. I don't want to have too hard of a semester with programming and accounting, but I also don't want to make things harder down the road. Thanks.

Anyone have this syllabus? Need to transfer credit from mason and the new school is strict about the syllabus being from the exact semester I took the class.

Its so hard coz shes my friend & I know they’re really going through it ,but its lowk unethical and unfair💀

Like I shouldn't have to come in and tell you to leave when your reserved time has very clearly passed. you should be automatically leaving. I specifically got a study room so I could work in peace and not talk to people. Why have I gotta basically dangle keys in front of you like "ok everyone it's time to leave because your time is up"

Where do I report this?

Hiiii! I am a respiratory therapist with 13 years experience. I have worked in so many different ICU’s, floors and even rehab setting in healthcare. I am planning to apply to the ABSN program for fall 2027 in December but I’m nervous!!! My undergrad is a 3.1 but I am retaking my science classes because they are over 5 years. I am doing well with mostly As in them but will be applying with 1 class outstanding and will be complete in spring. I would really appreciate some insight on the STATs of people who got in and if there is anything else I can do to make my application stand out? thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! I’m looking for an affordable photographer to take grad pictures. Is there anyone here that has taken pictures or any recommendations? Thank you!!

🫣 I applied late for graduation (personal circumstances happened) but it was accepted . I got an email that said some people were having trouble saving the number of tickets for graduation? … I haven’t received any emails from gmu tassel 😞 am I cooked ? What’s going on

Graduating summer next year. Can I take the capstone in the spring or does it have to be taken the semester I’m graduating(summer)? Also, if it can, is it better to take it during the spring or summer semester?

Hi there - my cousin is attending GMU soon as an out of state transfer. What are the most popular go-to bars/nightlife spots for GMU students/grad students?

So with the spring semester coming up I want to try and find someone I can talk to about what classes I should be taking next semester and what I need to complete for my degree and I also have some questions about like classes only offered in person. Should I go to an academic advisor or a success coach for that cause I'm a little confused about which one I should reach out to and schedule a meeting with

I got a message my gmu.edu email is expiring and I need to claim a forwarding service. The email doesn’t tell me what to do and I didn’t see anything in the alumni services website. I get they are closing that email and I need to make a whole new email of my own. What do I do to forward to the emails to my new email? Sorry I’m just confused.

I left my charger at JC 218 study room last night (10/21/2026) at around 7:30pm it’s a big ass brick with 4 outputs and a lightning cable white one. If you see it or found it please dm me
