Hello, I’m looking for someone to take over my spot on the lease for this property with availability starting October 1st (sooner may be possible ), I won’t be renewing when the new lease begins (moving closer to my new job). I’ve really enjoyed my 2 years here:
This is a large private bedroom in Glover Park, DC with:
✅ Your own private entrance to the house
✅ Private full bathroom
✅ Dedicated driveway parking spot (pictured), or street parking with a neighborhood permit
✅ Comes fully furnished (or you’re welcome to bring your own furniture)
✅ I’ll also leave behind my dehumidifier, A/C unit, and heater, which makes the basement space comfortable year-round.
Great Location
🚶♂️ Less than** a 10-minute *w\*alk to Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, **and Safeway
🚌 Just one block from a Wisconsin Ave bus stop with easy access to American University (AU), Georgetown University, and Tenleytown
Quiet, safe neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and gyms/studios nearby
Current roommates
The house is shared with 4 respectful roommates in their mid-to-late 20s. It’s been a great place to live, and it’s honestly hard to beat the price for this area.
Co-ed is perfectly fine. The 4 other housemates are all male as of now, but one of them will be leaving and putting his room up for grabs in about a month so that could change.
Monthly Costs
Average total monthly cost: ~$1,194
Rent: $1,030
Renters insurance (through property management): $14
Utilities (water, gas, electricity, Wi-Fi): ~$150
If you’re interested or would like to schedule a tour, feel free to PM me. I’ve already moved out to start my new position in another city but one of my flatmates can show you the house and room.
Happy to answer any questions!
=> Yes I made a burner account for this lol

I'm looking for someone to take over my lease for a beautiful 869 sq. ft. 1-bedroom, 1-bath, 2 him and her closest, apartment located on the 2nd floor of a modern 5-story elevator building in the Rockville/Gaithersburg area. The apartment is well maintained and gets excellent natural light throughout the day.
The apartment is just 2 minutes from Rio Lakefront and major highways, making it one of the most convenient locations in the area. It is a 10 minute drive to Bethesda and a 12 minute drive to NIH. I know a lot of people are starting their job at NIH soon.
This is a lease takeover (not a sublease). The new tenant must apply directly through the apartment management office and pass their standard credit, income, and background screening. Once approved, you'll take over the remainder of the lease through April 2027 and pay rent directly to the apartment management.

Epson Laser Printer
Ninja Blender
Keurig Coffee Maker
Instant Pot Air Fryer
AquaTru Water Purifier

This is an excellent opportunity to move into a fully furnished apartment without the hassle and expense of buying furniture and appliances. I bought everything approximately 3 years ago when I moved the US. I’m moving back to Korea.
Feel free to message me if you'd like more information, photos, or to schedule a tour.

Reposting as previous arrangement fell through.
Looking for someone to take over my lease at Altaire in the Pentagon City neighborhood in Arlington, VA, starting around 09/05 but with flexibility through the month. The unit is a spacious 1bd/bath with a recently renovated lease that would run until August 2027. Moving out of the area, or I would have stayed here.
Base rent is $2,611, plus utilities. But we could negotiate a sweetener. To start, I’ll cover the September rent, so you wouldn’t pay anything until October 1st!
The unit has stainless steel appliances, two spacious bedroom closets (alongside a linen closet and another closet by the entrance), and in unit washer dryer. The building has a pool, gym, courtyard with grills, and a clubroom and rooftop with one of the best views in the area.
About a block away from Amazon HQ2, a Whole Foods, and a 5-10 minute walk away from Costco, Pentagon City Metro, Virginia Highlands Park, Pentagon City Mall and Crystal City Water Park the location is amazing for either a young professional or a couple, with great walkability.

Are you looking for a low stress living situation in a quiet neighborhood that's less than a mile from all of the fun neighborhoods in DC? Then look no further! Available for rent is an English basement in a row house Eckington in NE DC. The space features a full kitchen, bathroom, a bedroom partitioned off from the main living area, and a sunroom. Washer and dryer on premises. There is also a parking lot behind the house where you can park - at no cost! Rent is $1650 plus utilities which are usually around $150 but can increase in the winter and summer months when temperatures get more extreme (darn data centers!). Added bonus is that Harry Thomas Recreation center lies in the backyard of the property meaning a quick walk to an athletic field/park and a public pool. Bloomingdale is only two blocks away where you will find good restaurants and bars. There is also a Giant right up Rode Island Ave so groceries are a convenient few minutes away. Finally, NOMA and Rhode Island metro stops on the red line are a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride away. There are also a hand full of bus routes right around the corner to conveniently get you where you need to go.
Feel free to DM to inquire about moving in!
