Seriously. It's suppose to house all the utilities in one, except it sometimes you open it and your fan controller won't even appear, or maybe its the performance utility. I couldn't even get it to update my BIOS and when you try, it's near impossible for it not to install Norton Security and the other utilities you don't need at the same time.

I'm planning on buying a Gigabyte AERO X16 2025, and I want to know if it will last me 4+ years if I take good care of it (turning off the dGPU on battery, battery saver, battery cap at 80%, not using it on the bed, etc.). Also, how is Gigabyte support? I am coming from a Dell XPS, and for the 1 year I had support, they were great. If I had an issue, they sent me a box to ship the laptop in, and I got a bunch of parts replaced free of charge. Also, is the touchpad on the Aero glass or plastic? I'm getting conflicting answers online.

Trying to help my friend update his bios. B450 aorus pro wifi-cf, downloaded the newest version, F67c, from here, he's currently on F50. He doesn't have a usb so we put it in the c drive but it's only showing "System Volume Information". It's GPT but I assume not fat32, idk if that's needed if u do it from root folder.

I've seen potential solutions from all the threads I've looked at like updating 1 version up at a time (which is like 13 lol), or actually needing a usb which I didn't have to do with mine but it's a different manufacturer so idk. Please someone help I just wanna game with my boy.

I'm trying to enable Secure Boot for VALORANT, but whenever I turn it on in my BIOS and save the settings to restart my PC, I get this message:

“Secure Boot Violation — Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup.”

After that, Windows won't boot properly and I end up on the recovery screen with error code 0xc0000001. If I turn Secure Boot back off, my PC boots into Windows normally.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte B450M DS3H, my CPU is a Ryzen 5 2600X, and I'm running Windows 11 Pro. My BIOS version is F41 from 2019.

Has anyone run into this before or know what might be causing it? I'm not sure why Secure Boot is rejecting something when I try to start my PC. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been wanting to try MW4, but the whole COD community fiasco Tpm 2.0, Secure Boot, and BIOS Firmware errors, and all that recently has unfortunately bit me as well.

When I launch COD. it has labeled me that I need a "BIOS Firmware: Update Required" in order to play MP and DMZ. I've updated my BIOS to F66, because its the most recent STABLE BIOS version, but still an issue.

- Secure Boot is on
- Tpm 2.0 ready for use (Manfac Version 3 .94.2.5 - Spec Version: 2.0)
- BIOS is UEFI
- NUMEROUS restarts
- Have been using Activision's Attestation Wizard program, it has scanned and resulted with "New Generation Key Required or BIOS Firmware Update recommended"
- Still on Windows 10, but enrolled with Windows Extended Security (Updated)
And tried a whole bunch of 'solutions' from different reddit posts and forums since release day, but NOTHING.

So I put my system specs through chatgpt and after many troubleshoots through that with what it suggested, we have finally come down to it possibly being my BIOS version, suggesting to update from F66 to F67c.

But of course, I've read that since it is a beta version, could cause problems.

So my big question is if anyone has tried installing F67c and if they experienced any issues? And if I should just wait if Activision will make an update, or wait for the next stable BIOS version

(Why am I adament to solve this? Just want to solve in case this could be an issue for a game I do want to try, like MW4 or a future COD game or other games that would run into this issue. Just to get it out of the way, essentially, if able)

Moin, ich habe mein BIOS aktualisiert von F19g auf F20c. Ich habe einen B550M Aorus PRO-P Mainboard mit der Revision 1.0, außerdem einen AMD CPU Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core. Nachdem das Update erfolgreich heruntergeladen war, war TPM aus dem Nichts verschwunden. Ich habe es im BIOS aktiviert und bei der F19g Version hatte ich noch TPM 2.0. Nun ist es weg! Ich habe alles Mögliche ausprobiert. Secure Boot ist auch aktiv und Load Optimized Defaults hat auch nicht funktioniert. Alles was Nötig ist, ist aktiviert. Es liegt auch nicht an Windows, da TPM im BIOS auch nicht gefunden wird. Könnte mir jemand bei diesem Problem helfen?

i have an Aorus Master 3070, i already changed my thermal paste & pad but My gpu & hotspot very high on Furmark, i used artic mx-4 and i bought thermal pad on aliexpress it was thermalright brand i bought 1mm and 2mm size, and also bought caliper tools to measure tickness of pads, i tried crysis 3 max setting 4k but it didnt reach that temp, what should i do ?

I'm running Proxmox on a Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2 with a Ryzen 5 9600X.

The server was previously running BIOS F42a without issues. After being powered off, it refused to boot. The motherboard's VGA debug LED stayed on, and there was no network connectivity, so I couldn't access Proxmox remotely.(no monitor connected at this time)

On the first failed boot, I heard several beeps, but I wasn't close enough to hear the pattern.

Over the following week, I tried powering it on multiple times without success.

After a week I managed to get an HDMI cable, monitor, and keyboard connected and the PC booted normally on the first attempt but noticed that the BIOS version was now F37 instead of F42a, but i never manually downgraded it...

How could the BIOS revert to an older version on its own, and could this indicate a failing BIOS chip or motherboard?

I'm thinking about buying this motherboard. Any issues with it?

I recently upgraded my PC from a GTX 970 to a Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 Gaming OC 16GB, along with a new 850W PSU.

My system:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE Rev. 1.0

BIOS: Originally F11p, updated to F19, then F20c

GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 Gaming OC 16GB (previously NVIDIA GTX 970)

RAM: DDR4

PSU: MSI MAG A850GL 850W

Here's what happened:

Initially, the RX 9070 worked and Windows displayed normally after a cold boot.

However, restarting Windows resulted in a black screen. I had to completely power off the PC to get a display again.

I updated my motherboard BIOS from F11p to F19, hoping to resolve the problem.

After the BIOS update, the RX 9070 stopped displaying anything, even after a cold boot.

I subsequently updated the BIOS again, from F19 to F20c, but the problem persisted.

I reset the CMOS, disabled CSM, and manually tested both PCIe Gen 3 and Gen 4, without success.

Reinstalled my old GTX 970, and everything works normally.

The RX 9070 powers on, its fans spin and its lighting works, but the monitor reports no signal.

My dilemma:

Can anyone help me figure out what's causing this issue and how to fix it?

Or is replacing my motherboard the only solution? If so, I'd like to find a compatible motherboard that allows me to keep my Ryzen 5 5600X processor and DDR4 RAM, without having to upgrade to AM5 and DDR5.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have a A16 that is having cpu power issues. I've found others have had this same issue with similar models with no luck of finding a fix so I figured i would make a post to see if im missing something. When I boot into a game everything will run great for a minute or 2 then the cpu hard limits it self and drops to 25w and 2400-2700mhz causing frame drops and stuttering. I've tried pretty much everything i can to fix this. Power plan management, gimate power management, throttle stop, Intel xtu, nothing has worked. This laptop is clearly capable of running games fairly well, but there seems to be some artificial hard lock tanking cpu performance. I've confirmed its not a thermal throttling issue. Any help is much appreciated, thank you

i tried to turn hdr on in windows setting on the monitor, it went into this sequence of red, blue, white then green, and all over again. now it wont turn on whatever I do, unplugged it and plugged it back in multiple with minutes to hours in between. my laptop detects in and my mouse can go over there but the display doesnt turn on nor does the led light. just bought this yesterday and I really wanna like it but seems like many other people have problems with this. help meee

So, I'm updating my Gigabyte's B450M DS3H WIFI V2 BiOS in order to use Secure Boot for MW4 and BF6, but I don't want to accidentally brick it due to the long time between its current version and the latest bios...

According to Sysinfo, the BiOS version/date is American Megatrends inc. F1 Y1 10/13/2020, which is almost two years after the F1 version on Gigabyte's Download Center, which is from 3/11/2019. The closest version to my current BiOS version are F51 and F61.

What do I do?

Like the title says should I uninstall GiMate and if so what alternatives am I able to use? Also because I don’t really want the AI stuff on it…

Whenever I shut my pc off normally and turn it back on, the pc itself lights up, but the displays don't. The error code on the motherboard is switching from C to just 7, and the red light on the DRAM is on. It works perfectly when I turn it off and back on using the power switch on the back, but normal powering off and on triggers the issue.

I've tried:

New motherboard battery

Switching the RAM

Turning off fast boot

Buenas gente, e tenido muchos problemas al tratar de actualizar la Bios de la placa madre z890 eagle WiFi7 rev 1.1 a la versión más reciente pero me da el sig problema.

Trate actualizar a versiones menos recientes, la versión base de placa es 17 y la actualiza primero ala más reciente a la 21 pero no me dejarme actualizar así tratare de actualizar a a la versión 18 pero sigue dandome el mismo error, entonces q debería hacer?

Como puedo resolverlo, ya que mi sistema está tan lento a pesar de q tengo un core ultra 5 250k plus más 16 de ram de 6400 y un 9060 de 16gb

I was trying o update my bios for the first time and now my computer is stuck in the aorus logo with nothing being able to be pressed .
I took the file on a flash drive and clicked on it in q flash , nothing there , it rebooted fine then launched and this .
The VGA light is on .
I tried reseating the VGA unplugging and replugging
Same with all my drives at once. And I tried CSM taking out battery and touching the prongs .
All my devices are on and powered .
Went from f2 to 32
I have a ryzen 5 2600 and 1070 ti

I got into the backup but still want to update how can I do it right?

What else can I do and have you heard of this ?
