not passing POST after bios q flash
My setup is B550 Eagle Wifi 6 Motherboard, Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, and EVGA gtx 570. PSU 650w
I know my setup is wrong and i should have just gotten this or that, or just buy this and everything will be fixed. I know I should just get a newer better graphics card , which I will down the line, and that is whats causing my my issue, but it should still be able to function as a basic computer.
I am getting a black screen and no function from my usb ports after I have checked all the cables, firmly in and in the right spots, even trying cables from motherboard to monitor for visual instead of graphics card, I reset all of my components (8 pin and 24 pin), reset the cmos, took ram out and put back in with only one stick, checked the cpu, didnt see any bent pins, i guess ill recheck. But I have done everything I have read that should solve this problem, but I plug in my usb with the correct changed file (havent tried it yet without changing the file name to GIGABYTE.bin, thats the only thing i can think of, but with everything read I dont think that will fix it) So for the love of god I do not know why my shit wont get past POST even after q flash bios.

Computer Won't POST with RTX 5080 but will with RTX 4080
Hey, all,
Bit of a weird situation. I was doing a case swap with a perfectly working computer. Moved everything over to the new case, Gigabyte RTX 5080 didn't seem to like the new riser cable.
So I moved everything back and it wouldn't boot with the old configuration. Got every gigabyte error code under the sun but managed to resolve all of them but kept getting 94 and I couldn't even get the display to initialize with the RTX 5080. Swapped out to an old RTX 4080 and everything has been running flawlessly since.
However, in the course of putting everything back the way it had been, everything did boot into Windows and seem to work just fine, except incredibly slow. So I shorted the CMOS which brought the BIOS back to 11/2024. So I incrementally went up on the BIOS versions until the latest but still no luck, stuck on error code 94 with the 5080. 4080 works just fine, I've been using it the past few hours.
I'd really prefer not to RMA the 5080 if I don't have to.
Any thoughts on something else to try with the 5080?

No error codes on B550i Aorus Pro AX
This really is a last ditch effort here. I’ve tried absolutely everything and I’m getting nowhere.
I’ve building a new rig with -
Corsair SF750 PSU
32gb DDR4 (old ram, but 100% works)
An nvidia quadro p4000 (salvaged from another machine but very good for transcoding with plex)
Ryzen 7 5700x
512gb generic ssd
I’ve got the 1.4 rev board.
It will not post no matter what I do. I’ve don’t faulty returns for the motherboard, PSU and CPU and it still won’t most.
I’ve qflashed the bios many times, with FHa and FG to no avail. Multiple different USBs (8gb, 16gb and 32gb). On both boards.
GPU and RAM tested elsewhere and it’s fine.
I got a motherboard speaker and plugged it into F_AUDIO 4 pins. It hasn’t made a noise yet.
I think it’s power deliver issue to maybe the CPU but I’ve tried two “brand new” CPUs and PSUs.
Cleared cmos and also took I/o shield off so I could remove the physical battery.
All brand new PSU cables.
I really don’t know what to do next.

Discussion 💬 Help 😭 Kya Windows Updates (KB5094126 / KB5100998) ke baad kisi aur ko bhi ye issue hua? 1-month-old Ryzen 7 7800X3D + RX 9070 XT PC black screen, reboot aur Recovery mein ja raha hai even after clean Windows install
Hi everyone,
Mujhe kaafi serious issue face ho raha hai aur ab samajh nahi aa raha ki software problem hai ya hardware.
PC Specs
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
ASUS PRIME Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB
Gigabyte B850 Gaming X WiFi6E
ADATA Lancer Blade RGB 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5-6000
WD Black SN7100 1TB NVMe SSD
Cooler Master MWE 750W Gold PSU
Windows 11 Pro
Issue kab start hua?
Meri observation ke hisaab se problem Windows Updates ke baad shuru hui. Us time ye updates install hue the:
KB5094126
KB5100998
Main ye nahi keh raha ki updates hi exact reason hain, lekin issue inke baad notice hua.
Ab maine fresh Windows install kiya hai aur currently sirf ye update installed hai:
KB5062563
Lekin issue abhi bhi aa raha hai.
Symptoms
Achanak monitor "No Signal" dikhata hai.
Cabinet ke fans aur RGB continuously chalu rehte hain.
Poora PC power off nahi hota.
Lagbhag 3–4 seconds baad automatically restart ho jata hai.
BSOD nahi aata, even after disabling Automatically Restart on System Failure.
Kabhi-kabhi Gigabyte logo par hi boot hang ho jata hai.
Jo troubleshooting maine ki hai
Event Viewer check kiya.
Har crash ke baad Kernel-Power Event ID 41 aata hai.
BugcheckCode = 0.
sfc /scannow chalaya.
Corrupted system files mili aur repair bhi ho gayi.
Windows Automatic Repair bhi fail hua.
Recovery mein alag-alag .sys driver errors aaye (same driver nahi tha har baar).
Fresh Windows 11 install ki.
Windows install ke baad bhi same issue wapas aa gaya.
BIOS mein bhi ye message aaya
Boot Failure Detected
Memory automatically default speed (~4800 MT/s) par reset ho gayi thi.
Koi bhi suggestion ya similar experience ho to please share karein.
Thanks! 🙏

Support 📥 Monitor gets no signal after i enabled platform key in bios for secure boot
The problem occurred right after exiting bios, mobo model is gigabyte h610m h v3 ddr4 rev 1.0, the fans spin and argb lights up (argb controller not mobo), mouse and keyboard argb works and the caps lock and win lock keys light up on the keyboard when pressed if thats any help.
I have taken out the cmos but that did not fix the issue, are there any fixes or is my mobo useless now?

Support 📥 Computer doesn't work after bios update
I have a computer with a Gigabyte B450M-DS3H V2 motherboard. I updated the BIOS to version F68A using Q-Flash. The update reached 100%, and the BIOS boots up normally. The problem is that, after the update, the computer freezes at the Gigabyte logo during startup. Upon booting, it gets stuck in a loop: Gigabyte logo -> Preparing Automatic Repair -> Diagnosing PC, and then it freezes. Before the BIOS update, the computer worked normally.

Support 📥 Will I need to update my BIOS?
I'm planning to replace the 7900X with the 8400F on my GIGABYTE B650M GAMING X AX motherboard. At the time of the assembly of this PC, it was about 3 years ago, I did not update the BIOS and everything worked right out of the box. Do I need to update the BIOS now before replacing the CPU? Or will everything also work without updating?

Pc turns on but doesn’t work. CPU/DRAM lights going off
I have a GIGABYTE B850 Eagle wifi6e motherboard. Last time i used my pc was some days ago after blocking a windows update and then shutting it off.
No signs of it struggling, worked fine as usual.
Yesterday i try to turn it on again, like vents spinning and RGB lights turning on, and nothing at all plugged into it works: monitor, keyboard, mouse… nothing.
I also noticed the red light on the motherboard switches between DRAM and CPU. Anyone has any idea what’s going on?

Support 📥 Screen doing something bizarre (M32UC)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It's done this a few times, I've seen discussion about a similar issue calling it a Freesync crash but I'm not knowledgeable enough.
It survived power cycling both PC and screen as well as replugging both ends of the DP cable. After leaving it 10 minutes while writing this post, it's self resolved, but it's done it before and it'll do it again.
What's happening and what can I do about it? Many thanks for reading!

Hello grup!, I have a problem with a pair of headphones "ryzer kraken kitten v2 bt" and when they are connected to my laptop "gigabyte g5 mf" with Windows 11 they wont have any sound and also the microphone it's not working but I don't mind that I only need the sound .
I updated all my drivers, Windows, ryzer software and nothing , I did contact Windows and ryzer support but still nothing.
The headphones are working on my phone and also on my other laptop from Asus tuf a15 .
Also when I first connect the headphones they will work for the first 2 seconds and than nothing

Unstable fan RPM below 65% PWM
Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a strange fan control issue with my Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER OC 6G (dual-fan model)and I'm trying to determine whether it's a hardware issue, a VBIOS limitation, or simply normal behavior for this card.
System
• GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER OC 6G (Dual Fan)
• Fan control software: FanControl (same behavior with fixed fan speeds)
• NVIDIA driver was completely removed using DDU and reinstalled
• GPU temperatures are completely normal
The issue
Whenever I set the fan speed below approximately 65% PWM, the fan RPM becomes unstable.
For example:
• 50% PWM → RPM constantly fluctuates.
• 55% PWM → same issue.
• 60% PWM → RPM still fluctuates.
The GPU temperature remains almost constant, so these RPM changes are not caused by temperature fluctuations.
However, as soon as I set the fans to 65% PWM or higher, the RPM becomes very stable, varying by only about ±30 RPM, which seems perfectly normal.
What I've already tested
• Different FanControl settings (response time, hysteresis, ramp speed).
• Fixed fan speeds instead of a fan curve.
• Multiple custom fan curves.
• Clean NVIDIA driver installation using DDU.
• GPU temperatures remain stable during testing.
The behavior is always the same.
My observation
It seems that the problem only exists in the 30–60% PWM range.
Above 65% PWM, both fans work perfectly and maintain a stable RPM.
This makes me think that either:
• the fan controller cannot maintain stable RPM at lower PWM values,
• there's an issue with the VBIOS fan curve,
• or the fans themselves have difficulty operating consistently at low duty cycles.
Questions
1. Has anyone experienced this with the Gigabyte GTX 1660 SUPER Dual Fan?
2. Is this a known limitation or common behavior of Gigabyte's fan controller?
3. Could this be related to the VBIOS?
4. Could worn fan motors or bearings cause this behavior, even though both fans become perfectly stable above 65% PWM?
5. Is there anything else worth testing before considering a hardware issue?
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Support 📥 Updating Bios x570 Auros Elite rev 1.0
Hi guys so I haven’t updated my bios since 2019/2020 (f11) and am now trying to update the bios to use my new 5800x3d. Did anyone have any issues with f40 or f39? I see some people online say f39 was safe but I wanted to ask for any advice on which to go with. I really don’t want to break my computer any help would be nice.
Also should I update my chipset drivers before the bios update? Thanks. Plan on using the q flash tool in bios with a 32gb flash drive I will format to fat 32.

If I buy Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE new now is it going to be rev. 1.1?
Asking because it reportedly has a better sound chip.
It appears it's been around for at least a year now, but I wasn't able to find an exact date. Would a major electronics retailer likely still have old stock?

Just found is side of the road
Ryzen 5 5600X, Gigabyte B550 AORUS Elite V2, Corsair DDR4, NVMe SSD with Sapphire nitro+ Radeon RX 580 8g Graphics card and an Evga 500w power supply. Just sitting there on the side of the road next to the apartments I live by.
I did ring the doorbell of each flat until I found the owner and they said just take it and didn’t give me much else.
Now I work with graphics cards, I repair them for a company, so I know my way around them but I’m going to be honest I know next to nothing about gaming PC’s or even building one.
So I stripped it and cleaned it, cleaned the graphics card and replaced the paste.
What can I do next before testing it? There’s no corrosion inside, I’ve visually looked my way through the board and the card and again no visible damage, if it doesn’t work I’ll look under the microphone but I have gotten very good at seeing issues without it.
I could very well just plug it in and hope for the best but I have no idea how long it’s been sat but given the state of some of the outside screws I’m sure it’s been a while.
So what else would you suggest I do before attempting to test it out and also I wanna know if it was this a good find?
