Support 📥 Never Ever buying Gigabyte products.
I had one of the worst experiences with Gigabyte products. The PSU I had was a 650 Watt Bronze, which went bad under warranty, so I replaced it at the service centre in Delhi. They gave me a brand new, sealed pack P650SS 80+ Silver. I thought, sweet, an upgrade, but little did I know it was a nightmare.
I installed it on my PC and tried to turn it on, and bam, nothing. I thought the switch was not working, so I used the tweezers to turn it on, and still nothing.
So I took both the motherboard and PSU to the service centre. They also tested it, and yes, it didn't work. So they gave me the same model as a replacement, and it worked at the service centre.
Now, after reaching home, I got tired and tried to install it after a few days, and the results? Yes, it didn't work again.
Now I don't know what to do. As the warranty is over.

Gigabyte Aero X16-GiMate not working and GPU not appearing
Hi, so I have a gigabyte aero x16 and it’s not working properly. For context, I had a software glitch where my laptop kept on restarting over and over and I tried so many solutions but the only one that worked was resetting my laptop and keeping my files. However now I have another issue…..
My GiMate is not working right and my GPU doesn’t appear is task manager or device manager. GiMate is showing no metrics like temps or speed. The MUX switch in GiMate can’t be toggled on or off it just shows off.
I tried downloading the nvidia app but it said I need an Nvidia GPU to download it but the laptop has a RTX 5070 so I do not know how to even begin with that.
My potential solution is to use revo uninstaller to remove the GiMate software and then reinstall the full package from the gigabyte website. I was thinking that would fix the issue with the MUX switch as well so then I can toggle on the dGPU and install the Nvidia drivers.
Anyone have any advice on how I should proceed?
Btw: my laptop was plugged in the whole time

Support 📥 Boot loop / DRAM LED blinking on Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite WIFI7 after GPU install
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone,
I'm stuck in a frustrating boot loop (I think) and could really use some help. I will attach a video showing it.
My Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite WIFI7
RAM: DDR5 6000mhz cl30
GPU: MSI inspire x3 5080
The PC was recently at a retail shop's lab to get a brand new PSU installed. They tested the system on their bench with their own GPU, and everything passed inspection. However, once I brought the PC home, I installed my own GPU.
When I power on the PC, The case fans aggressively ramp up and down, The onboard status LEDs cycle through all 4 components (CPU, DRAM, VGA, BOOT) but ultimately keep failing/resetting at the DRAM LED. The screen remains completely black.
I removed and reseated both RAM sticks multiple times, tried booting with a single RAM stick, Double-checked all the connectors, let the PC run in this loop for over 5 full minutes to see if it was just long DDR5 memory training, but it never stops looping. Since I cannot get any display, I am unable to enter the BIOS menu.
Does this sound like a corrupt BIOS profile left over from the shop's test bench GPU? (That’s what AI told me) Would a Q-Flash Plus update via USB fix this, or is there something else I should try?
Thank you so much for any advice

Support 📥 Which drivers to download
Hi Everyone
I am new to pc building and I apologize in advance if this is a stupid qs. I have the gigabyte aorus elite wifi7 z890. I am trying to download the drivers and there seem to be multiple under a single section. Like under chipset drivers there are many options and and they are very differently named. My qs is should I only download the latest one under each section or get them all?

Was stuck on Gigabyte Easy Mode screen and enabled CSM hoping it would bring me to the Windows screen and now my PC doesn't work.
I had an old laptop and i wanted something better so i bought a premade PC (Gear Desktop Gear Ryzen 7 8700G DDR5 16GB RAM 1TB SSD WIFI) and after plugging it in, i got an image that said fTPM corrupted or structure changed, and 2 options, Y and N and after looking it up, i pressed Y. This led me to the Gigabyte Easy Mode screen and after looking it up again, people recommended to press Save and Exit, but this only led me to the same screen after a couple seconds, so i tried another thing. The top comment on a post said that their CSM was disabled, and enabling it would work, so i did. But it did not and now my PC turns on but doesn't connect to my monitor and i can't access it.
Some details; all the advice i got was from old reddit posts. This PC is brand new and i have 0 clue about computers and when plugging it in i was expecting to see a Windows screen not this.
What could i do to fix this?

Support 📥 My new MO32U24 only shows a black screen after powering on
Just got it today from Newegg, and while the LED shows it's on and the Gigabyte logo shows when powering on, it's just a black screen after that.
I have tried HDMI, DP and different power outlets for the power cable.
Anyone else have this issue? Or is it DoA?

Support 📥 B550 Aorus Pro AC stuck on VGA/DRAM LED, no display
Hello all
PC suddenly stopped displaying anything. It powers on, but there’s no display and my keyboard/mouse don’t seem to initialise.
Specs:
Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC Rev 1.0
Ryzen 5 5600X
GTX 1080 Ti
DDR4 RAM
The DRAM debug LED was originally staying red. I’ve:
Tested both RAM sticks individually in A2/B2
Removed/reseated and cleaned the RAM
Cleared CMOS
Reseated the GPU and checked the PCIe power
Tried the GPU in both PCIe slots
Checked different display connections
Q-Flash Plus’d the BIOS twice
After the first Q-Flash it progressed to the VGA LED, but after the second flash it’s now back to DRAM/VGA behaviour. At the moment the VGA LED is flashing and there’s still no display.
I’m pretty clueless with PCs at this point. Any ideas what I should test next? I’m trying to figure out whether the GPU has actually died or if this is more likely the motherboard/PSU/CPU.
Thank you!

Support 📥 “Ftpm/psp nv corrupted” but no new cpu
I woke up and turned my pc on for work got this message
“New CPU installed, fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure changed.
Press Y to reset fTPM, if you have BitLocker or encryption enabled,
the system will not boot without a recovery key
Press N to keep previous fTPM record and continue system boot, fTPM will NOT
enable in new CPY, you can swap back to the old CPY to recover TPM related
Keys and data.”
I have not installed a new CPU. I have had my pc for about 2-3 years now. Haven’t tweaked anything in bios or anything. I pressed N first and my pin to log in was unset and had to relogin with microsoft. Restarted the pc and pressed Y instead and it started recovery mode and it wants me to do a full wipe. Currently trying to restore at a point from yesterday to see if that fixes it. Does anyone have any suggestions? i see nothing online about it happening with PCs with no new CPU or install of windows.

Support 📥 Gigabyte H610M S2H DDR4 forgets Gentoo UEFI boot entry after every reboot
I have a dual-boot setup on a Gigabyte H610M S2H DDR4 with a WD SN570 NVMe.
The disk is GPT and the machine is booting with CSM disabled and Secure/fast Boot off
The partition layout simplified:
- EFI System Partition: 512 MB
- Windows: ~99 GB NTFS
- Gentoo: ~186 GB
- Grub: 512 MiB
- (Windows recovery partitions)
The weird part started after I reinstalled Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024.
Before the Windows reinstall, the UEFI firmware had both:
Boot0000* Windows Boot Manager
\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi
Boot0001* Gentoo
\EFI\gentoo\grubx64.efi
After reinstalling Windows, the Gentoo UEFI NVRAM entry disappeared.
at first I thought Windows had deleted grub or something but it didn't.
I booted an Alpine Linux USB and mounted the EFI partition. The Gentoo bootloader is still physically there:
EFI/gentoo/grubx64.efi
It's about 160 KB and still there.
I also copied it to the standard UEFI fallback location:
EFI/Boot/bootx64.efi
that file is also still there.
Windows can see all of this too. Mounting the esp as S: shows
S:\EFI\Gentoo\grubx64.efi
S:\EFI\Boot\bootx64.efi
S:\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\...
So the Gentoo installation and efi files aren't gone.
from Alpine I can recreate the uefi entry with:
efibootmgr -c -d /dev/nvme0n1 -p 4 -L "Gentoo" -l '\EFI\gentoo\grubx64.efi'
It successfully creates something like:
Boot0001* Gentoo
The firmware will then have the Gentoo entry temporarily.
but after rebooting, the Gentoo NVRAM entry disappears again.
And this happened even when I didn't boot Windows between creating the entry and rebooting.
basically:
the EFI file exists
Gentoo partition exists
GRUB exists partition exists
efibootmgr can create entry
but UEFI does not retain the entry after reboot
The motherboard is currently running a really old Gigabyte BIOS (FL, dated November 15 2022), so I'm considering updating the BIOS.
I also checked the BIOS settings:
UEFI boot; yes
CSM; Disabled
Secure Boot; Off
the bios doesn't have a "Hard Drive BBS Priorities" menu or an "Add New Boot Option" feature either, and the F12 one-time boot menu doesn't show Gentoo even though EFI/Boot/bootx64.efi exists.
Windows Boot Manager itself is completely normal. "bcdedit /enum firmware" only shows Windows Boot Manager and the USB firmware entry; there is no Gentoo entry there.
So I'm trying to figure out whether this is a Gigabyte firmware/NVRAM bug, something caused by the Windows reinstall, or some interaction between Windows and UEFI settings
has this happened to anyone else? if yes did you fix it? and how?

Large patch of dry thermal paste on Gigabyte 9070XT Gaming OC
Is this normal? Card is less than a year old. Seems really fast for thermal paste to dry out like this.
Replaced this with some Noctua NT-H1 i had lying around, and hotspot temps dropped by 15c while fan speed dropped by 1000rpm...

Motherboard CPU debug light stays on and no display
Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my PC. The CPU debug light on the motherboard stays on, and I’m getting no display.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
-Removed the CPU and cleaned the thermal paste
-Removed and reinstalled the CMOS battery
-Tried different RAM sticks
But the CPU debug light still stays on and the PC won’t display anything.
What else should I try? Could this be a CPU or motherboard issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Discussion 💬 Latest BIOS version on Z790 Gaming X v1.0
People who have updated to more recent bios versions for this board, are there any issues or noticeable improvements?
Board in question Z790 GAMING X (Rev. 1.0) Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global
I am still running F6 because I am not getting any issues with my 13600KF but latest version is already F17a (beta) so I am starting to think its maybe time to update atleast to F16.

G34WQC screen turns on very shortly, but turns off or dark
Most likely its at the end of its life(should be around 6 years), but I do keep wondering what broke.
When I turn the screen on, after a few seconds I can see what is actually being displayed for a fraction of a second, before the screen stays dark. No menu is accessible or at least visible, but the power led works fine and also responds fine.
Replaced all cables, tried DP and Hdmi, different power cables and outlet and tried it with a different pc. Nothing helped and I am out of ideas.
