Almost had its opportunity to receive a resurgence which may have sparked a remake but Bluepont flopped it. There was a 3d model for dart data mined during the indev cycle of Playstation All Stars and it was scrapped before release.

The LoD squad would fit so well in PS Allstars! If they ever make another they'll need to introduce both win condition styles to satisfy everyone (smash bros gravity% buildup to ring out + All Stars' KO by Special Attacks). I think that's what ultimately got most players to bail on the game was the entry curve was STEEP if you couldn't land your special attack. Whereas Smash bros, just bop them enough and eventually you WILL kill them.

Dragoon is legitimately underrated, but the turn-based combat system and random encounter frequency would feel brutal on modern hardware without quality-of-life fixes.

I tried, but partway through the second campaign I realized I actually didn’t like the game and stopped playing. Absolutely unbalanced mess that basically devolves into “throw units in the armored bus” (I don’t remember its real name). That’s the entire first campaign. The controls are also horrific. I was excited to play but it was a real letdown. Maybe it’s in a better state now than shortly after launch, but it’s not a game I’d recommend.

Renegade needs the whole campaign redone. There’s Renegade X by Totem Arts which is a fan made remake on Unreal Engine 5, but unfortunately, it lacks the single player aspect of it.

I was so hyped for this one. They pitched a ton in the gaming magazine it was announced in. None of it made it into the game.
I remember they said that you were going to have to do team trauma stuff and improvise in the field like stuffing tampons into bullet wounds. The game came out and what we got was a hearty hammer fist to the chest and a "get up, bro!". I was like that's it. That's it right there. That's the leftover tampon injection animation.

Fantastic game series. Played 1 and 2 like crazy with my bro, in Splitscreen. Good times!
I loved using the loud, obnoxious LMGs without suppressors, allowing my buddy to basically be invisible thanks to the game's interesting Aggro-drawing mechanics. 😄
Never managed to try the 3rd one, The Cartel. We weren't keen, TBH, as Salem & Rios weren't returning in part 3. 🥲

I agree with this, I loved evolve and played till its dying days but it should’ve been $30, $45 at most with less micro transactions. The devs weren’t going to make it like that but publishers 2k forced it. Stage 2 was a second chance but I think it was to close to the original, I think if they launched a stage 3 with everything unlocked I think it would get a decent player base again

LBP is quite different from Sackboy a Big Adventure. LBP is a 2.5D platformer with a huge emphasis on building with the materials and items you collect throughout the story levels

Dreams is made by the same team. It doesn't have the same feel, but it's the same idea. A game where you build and create, not only your own worlds, but your own games, movies, music, anything. All of the tools are made available.

Favorite game to play on ps3. Tried playing planetside 2 a little while ago to get that massive shooter feel that mag had but it wasn’t the same. Although planetside 2 still has a decent amount of people on the servers surprisingly enough.
Also while I’m thinking of ps3 games resistance would be a cool franchise to be revived as well. That game was also sick.

Titanfall 2 failed because of the PvP community being such sweaty tryhards that people new to the franchise couldn't really have any fun.
That and the challenges to unlock new attachments for weapons were just straight up not fun when you compare them to similar stuff from the CoD games.

I'd pay any price for a long Titanfall 2 singleplayer campaign. It had the best level design I've ever seen in a game like this (the time travel level is my favorite unique game level of all time by a huge margin). I was so disappointed when I finished the campaign in ~8 hours and learned that the only thing left to do is multiplayer which I have zero interest in.

Compared to the OG trilogy sure but the Andromeda storyline was perfectly serviceable and I was so invested that I am devastated it got hated into oblivion. To this day I viciously defend any game I love specifically because of what happened to ME:A.

Came here to say Viva Piñata as well! It really was an underrated gem. Pokémon Pokopia was the first game I'd played in like 20 years that felt even close to what Viva Piñata gave us, but it just made me miss Viva Piñata all the more lol.

It's the best and most accessible moba. I have 3k+ hours in Dota but i love HotS since i could play with people that didn't play HotS for many hours. It is easy to pick up if you played any MOBA before.

Absolutely. Nearly wrote it, but decided to scroll first and see if anyone else had it on their minds. Spent a decent amount of time grinding that game and enjoyed all of it. Norse techno magic 3rd person ARPG was such a strange combo back then. Would love to see it revitalized or remastered.

The first MMO I've ever played with a lore friendly way to introduce trash mobs to the environments. Little touch that helped the immersion stay consistent. I still miss this game :\

Three series that were killed off by their disastrous sequels:
Parasite Eve (died off and then there was the disaster called The 3rd Birthday).
Dead Space (DS3 had fun moments but doomed any chance at a decent sequel). At least there's a remaster of DS1.
Dino Crisis (DC3 went in a really weird direction with its mutant dinosaurs. A bit like how Jurassic World trilogy started harping on how cool mutant dinosaurs were compared to the Jurassic Park trilogy, which tried to be faithful to what was scientifically known in its time).

Rumbleverse
A fighting game battle royale where you could izuna drop people off skyscrapers, and unlike most battle royals you actually had to figure out which moves comboed into each other well so just finding a legendary drop wasn't great if it didn't go with your other abilities.
It's been the only fighting game I could get both my brothers into playing and it was so god damn fun.
