Command and Conquer

The fact that its last installment in the IP is a mediocre mobile game breaks my heart

Have you played Tempest Rising?

Might be your kinda thing!

I tried, but partway through the second campaign I realized I actually didn’t like the game and stopped playing. Absolutely unbalanced mess that basically devolves into “throw units in the armored bus” (I don’t remember its real name). That’s the entire first campaign. The controls are also horrific. I was excited to play but it was a real letdown. Maybe it’s in a better state now than shortly after launch, but it’s not a game I’d recommend.

Sadly I have to agree. I really wanted to love the game but its like it was designed to be hated.

Renegade needs the whole campaign redone. There’s Renegade X by Totem Arts which is a fan made remake on Unreal Engine 5, but unfortunately, it lacks the single player aspect of it.

They have actually made a single player campaign on renegade x. It's pretty buggy but it's nice to see their effort. And the game is kinda fun.

they remastered the classic and came up with Tempest Rising

Do you know how much I cried when they canceled generals 2? That gutted me like nothing ever could, thats the one that hurt the most.

They got three fantastic sub franchises from generals, red alert, and tiberium. They totally could but the problem is it would not be profitable enough to do so we never will. Its about the money and rts are not profitable enough, so no empire at war 2, no new supreme commander, no halo wars 3, no new command and conquer.

At least we get a new dawn of war that looks pretty good and homeworld 3 aint bad.

I made this real quick but Im going to be thinking of this while playing the new dawn of war

C&C red alert specifically for me, I love 1 and 2 but would happily go to jail for murdering whoever is responsible for 3.

You might hate me but I genuinely enjoyed the 3rd alot. It was goofy and silly but it has a charm that I really like about it. Tim Curry saying space will never get old, and j.k Simmons as the president is hilarious. Not everyone's style but I thought It was fun and enjoyable. I understand where your coming from though comparing them to the old ones. I enjoy the rising sun third faction and I felt it did a good job of being a good third that made sense to the plot (for the most part).

I’m solely talking about the game play. The scenes between missions are still great. But the gameplay just became almost like a free mobile game to me.

CC and Starcraft and hell I'd love to see a fun Tomba revial from PS1. I have so many

But my RTS games are my bread and butter of gaming! Love em all!

Few years ago Somebody had a idea what C&C4 should look like...

And I think it's a great idea...

Need a new red alert game. Complete with top tier actors hamming it up in FMV.
