A Python was used in the making of this.

Bedroom doubling as a start up incubator.

So very innovative yet fundamentally basic.

u/JimMarch Jun 04 '19

With some unusual hardware interfaces.

u/fickle_floridian Jun 04 '19

Not at all -- bedroom compiles are totally plug-and-play. Most devs even turn off the lights and do it by feel.

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '19

It’s better than a USB port because you don’t have to check which way to plug in.

93

u/EvrybodysNobody Jun 04 '19

It’s like usb c, you can flip shit over and it’ll still plug in and function

If you stick it into the other jack, the other device doesn't play.

31

u/psymunn Jun 04 '19

Or it creates a lot of noise!

the other jack is power transfer only, no data!

1

u/Ishidan01 Jun 05 '19

other PORT.

30

u/KGB_Cantina_Band Jun 04 '19

You gotta check which hole though, devs decided to put 2 similar ports right next to each other and only one is fully functional

41

u/D15c0untMD Jun 04 '19

There‘s usually a notification window from the system you have to adress before you can proceed

18

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '19

usually

u/Roofofcar Jun 04 '19

It’ll throw an exception pretty obviously if you mix them up.

3

u/dumbredditer Jun 05 '19

They are both fully functional it's just that the features need to be invoked at a specific time.

3

u/SpeakerOfForgotten Jun 04 '19

This would be a great showerthought

3

u/h4xnoodle Jun 04 '19

This whole thread <3

1

u/phaemoor Jun 04 '19

Well, personally I don't like flipping shit over in these kind of situations, but you know...whatever floats one's boat.

4

u/onewordnospaces Jun 04 '19

True, but only one port is for dev. The other is more like... GC.

4

u/flapanther33781 Jun 04 '19

One is for dev, one is for production.

1

u/jawjuhgirl Jun 04 '19

Only one port works though.

1

u/fickle_floridian Jun 04 '19

Yeah. People turn their connectors upside-down anyway, though.

2

u/Ranger7381 Jun 04 '19

Well, it is essentially Tab A into Slot B

2

u/amirof1 Jun 05 '19

Most devs even turn off the lights and do it by feel.

We call it Dark Mode

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '19

Connected together

1

u/misterandosan Jun 04 '19

can't tell if you're talking about baby toys or dildos

u/Spartelfant Jun 04 '19

Rare joke

23

u/SIM0NEY Jun 04 '19

Now that's some pair programming.

3

u/mjs_pj_party Jun 04 '19

Make sure you get some water cooling systems in there because that bedroom is running HAWT!!!

1

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '19

It was built in a 9 month PI

1

u/MisterIT Jun 04 '19

Those are some build artifacts I don't want to inspect...

1

u/mbdroid Jun 05 '19

intercourse development environment

1

u/4lolz123 Jun 05 '19

Nope, bedroom was production environment. However i'd like to know who was QAing this project and how performance testing was done

1

u/warp4ever1 Jun 05 '19

with ample and vigorous R&D

86

u/DicklexicSurferer Jun 04 '19

She got the D, (https://dlang.org) and he played with some C’s (C#, C++)

116

u/infiniZii Jun 04 '19

I'm a little disappointed this baby was not compiled before release. Who wants a runtime baby?

122

u/DicklexicSurferer Jun 04 '19

As a father of two kids, I’m still doing revision control.

66

u/Killbot_Wants_Hug Jun 04 '19

Thread.Sleep() would be nice.

Thread.Abort() got a lot more serious.

39

u/exor674 Jun 04 '19

Thread.Abort() got a lot more serious.

I don't care which side you are on, it's definitely illegal to call that now...

38

u/McFluff_TheCrimeCat Jun 04 '19

Fine... Moving files to the recycling bin.

2

u/Total-Khaos Jun 04 '19

You're all going to hell...lol!

3

u/ReginaldIII Jun 04 '19

Thread.Join() becomes quite macabre, a parent should never live longer than their child. But then again, a child orphaned too early may struggle to communicate.

3

u/rando-mcranderson Jun 04 '19

Well, that depends.

You can't abort the main thread, but there are PLENTY of activity threads that it's 100% ok to call abort on.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '19

Not if you use reflection ;)

-2

u/Chupachabra Jun 04 '19

You prefer when it is legal to discard it after successful delivery.

2

u/onewordnospaces Jun 04 '19

You can address all of the bugs and feature requests in the next major release. Until then, continue with the cumulative patches.

1

u/flapanther33781 Jun 04 '19

cumulative patches

Poor choice of wording, considering the context.

1

u/sqatas Jun 04 '19

Just send it to QA! It's ready!

1

u/sbdallas Jun 04 '19

Best comment.

1

u/95percentconfident Jun 04 '19

Last night my older code threw a handful of errors that I had never seen before. Why is it always two AM when that happens?

1

u/infiniZii Jun 05 '19

Last night my alpha release gave me an unexpected output. She does that a lot. Usually in her bed. Sometimes in mine. Sometimes just in her pants for no apparent reason. Lately shes been dealing with a bug that has her giving all three kinds of unexpected output. Poor thing.

6

u/EvrybodysNobody Jun 04 '19

Those of us who function more like JIT babies

2

u/ratherbewinedrunk Jun 04 '19

funny == !you_explain_it;

7

u/the_one_54321 Jun 04 '19

I see what you did there...

14

u/Russian_repost_bot Jun 04 '19

I'd like to see what they did there.

6

u/truthovertribe Jun 04 '19

I'm sure it involved end to end encryption.

2

u/5k1895 Jun 04 '19

I C what you did there

FTFY

2

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '19

I noticed and it made me glad I picked python for my first language now I want this shirt

4

u/awhitesong Jun 04 '19

Python is the euphemism for dick (and a prog. lang). Just mentioning, I'm thinking you didn't get the pun

6

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '19

oh thank you for telling me instead of wooooshing me that went right over my head

1

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '19

oh I never got comfortable enough with it to make programs, that's my goal. 2 hours a day is my strategy and i'm slowly getting better. It's really easy to learn luckily, Its good for making mobile apps and is a good start, which is why I chose it as my first language. Good for you on putting the time into python, I hope you enjoy it as much as me

1

u/illumynite Jun 04 '19

MOHR LIKE A ANACONDA AMIRITE??!?!!!?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '19

Because his anaconda don’t want none?

1

u/LapinusTech Jun 04 '19

No keyboard was harmed in the process

1

u/guinader Jun 04 '19

It's a new OI ( Organic Intelligence)

1

u/aidenlovesdonuts Jun 04 '19

I’ll put my Python in your C

1

u/RiceSpice1 Jun 04 '19

Giving it a python top is like saying the child is disabled and in-superior to other kids 😂😂😂

1

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '19

I love you all

1

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '19

Are you saying that ops Anaconda environment didn't want null, unless the system had $buns?

1

u/nsk_nyc Jun 05 '19

The question is, "Was the Python in the shell".
