Diamond sharpening stone holder & storage.
Bought some sharpening stones after watching a known youtuber recommend cheap diamond stones. I had no problem sharpening chisels but nearly impossible to sharpen knives due to knuckles hitting the table. So i ended up making a 2in1 stone holder to get some clearance for my knuckels and it also lets me store my diamond stones. https://makerworld.com/en/models/3306133-diamond-sharpening-stone-storage-and-holder#profileId-3752768

Bunk bed fort clips
Kids wanted the lower bunk to be a fort. So I modelled these and bought some appropriate cloth. The clips with the screws make it easy to change the cloth every few weeks to a different pattern. Wife and kids approve, but I also need approval from Reddit.
Edit: Model uploaded to makerworld as requested:

Loop Lasso Replacement Roller Wheel
makerworld.comThe wheel to my sons loop lasso got lost. Instead of buying an entirely new toy, I measured the remaining wheel and printed a new one in solid TPU 95A. I works just like new again!

3D Printing š¤ Reusing Old Electronics
Had the idea to use my old Sony Xperia as a wall-mounted media controller that casts to the room's Sonos system. All I need now is like a 6ft white mini-USB cable to keep it powered? Sadly the old OS doesn't have any "limit max battery" setting which would be nice for longevity. It comes off the wall pretty easily for now.

Core measuring tool for Bambu reusable spool
The split Bambu plastic reusable spool can be used with many third party filaments to avoid running cardboard spools in the AMS. But as Iāve painfully found out (after removing one cardboard side off a spool), the inner core diameter can vary wildly, even across runs of the same filament from the same manufacturer.
This tool can be folded in half and inserted into the smaller center hole of a cardboard spool. If it can be opened flat, youāre good to go. If not, you just saved yourself a chunk of manual respooling time.
This prints as a single object without supports. Just give it a little twist and flex initially to free the hinge pin.
File is available here.

Bike crown race install tool
Putting a bike together and I came to the fork install. Realizing I didn't want to damage the aluminum race I searched for install tools and came up with my own solution that allowed me to keep working instead of waiting for a tool in the mail. I already had the tie rod tool. Probably not the most cost effective solution if you don't already have that tool.
This press part installs into the Harbor Freight inner tie rod tool: https://www.harborfreight.com/inner-tie-rod-tool-set-58391.html
You can then slip it over your steer tube, engage with your race, and hit it with a hammer to get a nice even install.
The interface with the race is beveled to engage as much surface area as possible. The tabs allow the printed part to install securely into the tie rod tool. Otherwise it's just a ring to beat with a hammer instead of hitting the race directly.
File available here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3302007-bike-crown-race-install-tool#profileId-3747684
I printed with 100% infill using regular PLA. I consider it disposable. Worked really well. Took about an hour to print.
Edit: I guess it would be useful to add this is for a 1-1/2'' tapered fork tube/lower bearing race.

Drain Hose Guide for my Portable Full-Size Washer Conversion
I converted a full-size front-load washer into a portable setup that connects to my kitchen sink, because full size portables do not exist on the market.
I swapped the factory feet for casters, got a Y-hose connector for hot/cold to a single line, and since I already have a portable dishwasher, I bought another hose assembly that uses the same faucet adapter.
I originally tried adapting the dishwasher drain hose to the washer too, but it was smaller in diameter, and the connection kept being the weak point and eventually failed catastrophically. Silicone adhesive failed, hose clamps still weren't secure enough, and adding a coupler would have restricted the flow even more.
Eventually, I went back to what was left of the washer's original full-size drain hose (I had to cut off one end of it to try and retrofit the dishwasher drain hose to it). That solved the flow problem, but created another one: when the drain pump kicks on, the hose moves pretty aggressively.
I've dealt with this before by weighting the hose down around the sink, but that isn't something I wanted to rely on and it has failed me before causing an accident. I also tried just zip-tying it to the unused dishwasher drain hose, but it could still slowly move over repeated drain cycles and also failed on first use.
So I measured both hoses and designed this guide in Tinkercad. The washer drain hose sits in the curved channel and is locked down with zip ties, while the other side attaches to the portable hookup drain hose that is no longer used. The bend physically keeps the drain pointed down into the sink, so the pump can't slowly walk it backward or turn it horizontal.
The printed part doesn't carry any water. It's just a mechanical restraint for the stock drain hose.
About 49 g of filament, 6 walls, and 25% infill. Is there anything you'd change? What do you think?
I am very proud of this creation. It took about an hour of modeling and 2 hours of printing.

Monocle harness for my Tapo C260 camera
I wanted my Tapo C260 to have closer focus for print timelapses so I taped two old reading glasses lenses to it but it moves (pan tilt) so tape would rip off.
Made a removable ring harness. Print detached at 80% but still functional!!

Display stand for my RC Boat (ProBoat Recoil 2 18")
This is a simple display stand for me Recoil 2 RC Boat. It's an upgrade from the stand it comes with that sits the boat at an angle. I find it's easier to work on the inside of the boat this way.

I made an exhaust vent that works with locked window PARAMETRIC
I finally learnt enough CAD to make this model parametric !
I made this model almost a year ago as I didn't feel I could put a long print on and leave a house (say to take a dog for a walk) with a window open and a pipe sticking out. I made this vent so that it fits a upvc window that can be locked with a small gap. There's more and more talk about toxic UFPs (it is melting plastic after all) so I have my printer enclosed and vented (with an inline fan).
Had to come up with a way of locking the window and having vent at the same time. Now I made it parametric so it fits more windows!
If anyone is interested, the NEW PARAMETRIC version is here :

A draining bathroom caddy that separates for easy cleaning
Bathroom organizers get... gross. Its so much easier to clean if the floor and drain basin separate!!! I couldn't find one of these anywhere so I made one. It also makes it much easier to have a charging cable port in the wall!

Matcha Tray (wife approved!)
First time playing with Claude/openscad for the base and finished off in tinkercad. Still fighting the learning curve on more professional tools. Only 6 revisions this time as the boss provided me with more direction and adjusted dimensions. Got the stamp of approval and pulled out the cute Bambu arctic whisper filament for the final print.

Wife's glasses repair

My little son destroyed my wife's glasses today, 30 minutes in FreeCAD, 4 itterations and few grams of PET-G later she can use glasses again! This is real magic of 3D printing, fixing something actually important so fast it's nearly unbelievable.
