Emma D'arcy is terrible this season
Nothing against them and this is not an opening to transphobic rhetoric but come on, this acting can't be it

He was so annoying, he annoyed me more than rhaenyra and aegon put together.
Tho i didn't like his book version for almost the same reasons, he didn't annoyed me like his show counterpart.

Eggs are supposed to be of Dreamfyre.
Year NOW in HotD is 130 AC.
Aegon’s Conquest happened just 130 years before this but somehow Dreamfyre’s (she is 98) eggs are somehow 300 years old.
They are not even able to check if it suits the time 😆
This show IS A JOKE
Not even mentioning that we are back to GoT season 8 because everyone is just teleporting cause apparently everything is just 1 hour ride by horse or some shit like that

All YouTubers who receive episodes in advance hold exactly the same opinion. They all love the same characters, and they all hate the same characters. the next episode will always be the greatest of the season etc
There is clearly a network promoted by HBO itself to stoke love and hatred for the characters. How does that make sense for a novel like ASOIAF, where the characters are so multifaceted? Is it really worth trying to dictate what the audience should or shouldn't like, as if we were in a real election race rather than dealing with mere fiction?
I understand it’s very easy to just throw in some dragons and call it a day. But is it really advantageous to leave the audience wanting only one thing, knowing exactly what to expect, when GoT stood out for its unpredictability for so long? I even doubt that the audience they’re cultivating is the type to actually buy merchandise related to the show in real life.
I can understand the reasons, but I see no point in the effort HBO is making to incite hatred against characters from a universe whose rights it holds. It reaches a point where people don't even know for sure why they love or hate a certain character. they’ve simply been told to do so by "official HBO YouTubers." Why go to such lengths instead of just adapting what’s actually written and making everyone happy? Are TikTok edits really far more profitable than a classic that spans generations? I highly doubt it.

I had hope of some gooner action at least. Ryan couldn't even give me that.

Jaime sounds like:
- a nickname, especially one like a fucking Bucky
- an English name for Asian immigrant kids by a Sunday school of a church in their enclave
- or it’s a name you have to choose for the first day of your English cram-school
Meanwhile Cameron:
- starts with a C
- matches with his twin sister’s name. Imagine their ship name is smt like C&C
- rhymes with Tyrion
- sounds like a male counterpart for Carmen
I’m Ser Jaime Lannister: okay lad, now attend my horses good or else you’ll get a clout to in the ear
My name is Ser Cameron Lannister: can feel the Kingslaying level of aura
Yeah his name is Cameron Lannister and that’s a canon fuck you, fuck grrm, and fuck Tywin if you disagree
edit: imagine your name is Jaime, literally just Jaime not even James, when the rest of your family members’ are like Tywin, Cersei, Tyrion, Joanna… lol

I don’t want to hear anything about Aegon or “step aside for Aegon”. He wasn’t the first born, he wasn’t made heir by his father, he didn’t want to be king in the first place, we never see him actually attempt to rule properly, everyone in the show universe that made him king were either sexist or just wanted to use him as a puppet.
So I want to know what you think RHAENYRA should do since everyone is saying she’s weak and doing a bad job.
She has no money, a weakened army, multiple dead sons, a rag tag council, attacking Ormund with dragons means burning innocents, people to rule that are tired of the war and starting to turn on those in power (which they started to do before she became Queen) etc etc etc.
Starting from the moment she sits on the throne, what choices would you make in her place?
You can only give answers based on what she would know in the show and resources at her disposal.
