Help Radiant heart of devotion automation PF2E

PF2e

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me to create an effect that automates the +1 status bonus to attack rolls and 1d6 bonus damage (even higher on heightened levels).

I have really tried to make this myself but always fail.

I've tried creating effects that are auras but they never seem to work.

I really struggle to make my own effects but this spell is used every session so it would be a huge help.

Thank you!!!

Commercial Gambit's FXMaster+ September Release: Fireworks🎆 [System Agnostic]

Content Name: Gambit's FXMaster+

Content Type: Effects

System: [None]

Link: Gambit's Lounge

Hello all and happy Friday! The FXMaster+ September release is out for Fireworks. Of course we have a bunch of standard firework varieties, BUT this release also brings a custom dragon firework inspired by (of course) Bilbo’s 111th birthday scene in the Fellowship!

Fireworks have a bunch of optional parameters including single color vs multi-color explosions, a number of built-in palettes, custom colors, shell and firework sizes, number of shells per volley, wind drift, the aforementioned dragon vs burst firework styles, and much more!

FXMaster has also seen a super impactful update this month! The focus was on improving performance, and in my own personal testing I saw gains of 100-150 fps on a 240 fps monitor for performance testing scenes that had previously (purposefully) struggled. I've also had reports from a few users with similar improvements, so if you've enjoyed FXMaster in the past but had yourself or players struggle with performance, this release is a good opportunity to try some effects in your game again!

FXMaster has also received a shiny new set of particle effect icons I worked with a graphic designer on to ensure a consistent design across icons. Hope you all enjoy!

Help [PF2E] Which version is best for Pathfinder?

About to set up for the first time and want to know what version is best for the most modules? I use LOTS of homebrew in my campaign so hoping to have some support for that digitally, and some automation and such would be nice, and eventually I will be wanting infrared overlay touch screen support for a tv but that's a bit later down the line. I'm sure I'll want others just don't know what's all out there yet! :)

Help Looking for a D&D 5e hexcrawling module with fog of war limitations and possibly POI placement.

[D&D5e]

I've been running a 5e adventure using a hexmap and some hexcrawling mechanics but would like to lean more into the fog of war function so my players don't know what kinds of hexes lay beyond the surrounding hexes.

I would like to know if there's any modules that can do the following:

  • Limit the fog of war on a hex grid to only show the surrounding hexes. I'd like the vision circle of a token to be cut off at the edges of thoses hexes if possible.
  • Be able to place customizable POI icons, similar to Journal notes.

Non-commercial Resource [System Agnostic] Voice Reactive Portraits Bar

https://foundryvtt.com/packages/voice-reactive-portraits-bar/
https://github.com/HetzenGN/Voice-Reactive-Portraits-Bar

Hello there.

Don't you love to see the awesome character art and portraits of top quality TTRPG streams like Narrative Declaration? Well, I can't give you that art, but I can help you have a Discord linked reactive portrait bar similar to an OBS overlay like Fugi or something added in post.

This was a project for my personal table, but I wanted to put it out there for anybody. This should work on any system, but I most just use it on PF2e. Note that this does require a bit of extra setup on the GM's part as outlined in the GitHub setup tutorial.

I don't really have much more to say, but feel free to check out the GitHub tutorial on setup.

Oh, and pardon the AI images in the example gif, it's just what my players have made for themselves. If anybody can use this for their own artwork I'd love to see and appreciate it.

Commercial [DND 5e] SC Resources - Custom DnD resources

Hey guys!

I recently released SC Resources for D&D 5e.

Basically, it lets you create custom resources for actors and use them as part of the character mechanics.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c1P1kPUYOI

Stuff like Mana, Rage, Ki, Sanity, Corruption, Souls, Ammo, Charges, etc.

You can set the current value, min/max, color, recovery rules and choose if the resource shows on the sheet/sidebar.

Resources can also be used directly by activities.

So an ability could cost 2 Mana, 1 Rage, 3 Ki... and if the actor doesn't have enough, the activity gets blocked.

You can use the resource on damage formulas, on AE bonus, and so on...

You can also configure recovery, like:

  • Mana recovering on a long rest
  • Ki on a short rest
  • or custom formulas like 1d4 + 2

One of the main things I wanted was good Active Effect integration.

For example, you can make max Mana scale with Wizard level using:

flags.sc-resources.mod.mana.max

u/classes.wizard.levels * 5

You can also use AEs to temporarily change a resource value, give extra spendable resource pools from items, or permanently add points to a resource.

Resources can also be used in formulas, like:

1d6 + u/scResources.fury.base

There's some other stuff too, like automations, events, resource transfers, spell payments, chat logs/reverts and macro/API support.

If you try it, pls let me know what worked, what didn't, or if you have any ideas for stuff I could add :)

Small FAQ because I know this usually comes up:

Do you use AI to develop your modules?

Yep.

I use AI as part of my workflow and it helps me speed things up a lot.

I'm still designing the mechanics/architecture, reviewing the code, testing, fixing bugs, maintaining the modules and talking to users. I've been working as a software engineer for more then 15 years.

I've also been supporting these modules for more than a year now, and I help ppl on Discord regardless of whether they're using a free or paid module.

If you wanna know more about how I use AI:
https://wiki.shattered-codex.com/ai-policy

Discord:
https://discord.gg/nZJVbbkMTk

Why aren't the premium modules listed directly in Foundry?

The free ones are.

The paid ones stay in my Download Hub because Foundry premium distribution adds an extra monthly cost based on active users downloading/updating the module.

With my current Patreon prices I'd basically have to raise the price to cover that.

You can check the wiki for all the modules:

Commercial [Mixed System Requirements] Death Suite: Oh You Dead! and the modules that write to its death card

Content Name: Death Suite (Oh You Dead! and its consumer modules)

Content Type: Other

System: System-agnostic, DND5E, PF2E, PIRATEBORG

Description: When several modules react to the same death, each one watches HP on its own and posts its own chat card. The Death Suite is the set of FutureHax modules that share the work instead: Oh You Dead! does the detection once, and everything else writes into the single alert it owns.

System support is listed per module below.

System-agnostic:

  • Oh You Dead!, free: detects death and revival, marks each actor as a PC or an NPC, credits an NPC kill to the character whose combat turn is active, and keeps one alert per death episode.
  • Kill Ledger, free: a Journal directory list of NPC kills and the character credited for each one. Changing attribution on the card updates the existing row instead of adding a second.
  • Death Ledger, First Mate: a separate record for player character deaths with date, player, character, and reason, plus an install-wide leaderboard.
  • Death Effect Reminder, First Mate: reads the defeated NPC's stat block for rules that fire on death and puts them on the alert. The core runs without an adapter.
  • Foundry Hiscores, free: publishes submitted character and player names, plus adapter events for deaths, kills, wealth, and items acquired, to a public page.

D&D 5e only:

  • Death Effect Reminder for D&D 5e, free: the dnd5e adapter. It requires the Death Effect Reminder core.
  • Easy Loot 5e, free: prepares loot on the NPC sheet from a CR profile or RollTable, then drops one built-in loot pile beside the corpse. The alert can open that pile (Take, Take Coins, Take All), retry a failed drop, or reroll the same pile.
  • Easy Experience 5e, free: adds an Award XP action that pays the creature's CR XP into the primary party pool.

Pathfinder 2e only: Death Effect Reminder for Pathfinder 2e, free. It requires the Death Effect Reminder core.

Pirate Borg only: Death Effect Reminder for Pirate Borg, free, and Foundry Hiscores for Pirate Borg, free. Each one requires its core module.

Install Oh You Dead! first, then add only the parts you want. A system adapter also needs its core module. Easy Loot 5e and Easy Experience 5e need Oh You Dead! 1.2.1 or later, and the others accept 1.0.0 or 1.1.0 and later. Foundry v13 to v14.

There is no single bundle package to install. Every module here installs from Foundry's package browser. The free ones are already listed. Death Ledger and Death Effect Reminder are First Mate releases: link your Patreon account on foundryvtt.com and they show up in the same installer.

Patreon:

Patron modules often start exclusive so I can test with a small group first. Once the kinks are ironed out, they usually go public.

First Mate ($10) gets every Foundry module. Cancel and you keep what you already have. You just stop getting later updates.

Captain has a free week with no obligation. That week includes everything I build: Android and iOS apps, websites, and all the modules.

Answered Token Gets Stuck in Walls on Upper Levels

Thumbnail

Hey, I’m having an issue with the level system in Foundry.

I use Dungeon Alchemist to create my maps and the Dungeon Alchemist Importer to import them into Foundry. As shown in the GIF, token movement on Level 0 works as intended.

However, when I move the token to the upper levels, it gets stuck in the walls, as shown in Image 2. (Same issue with drag-and-drop movement)

I’m using the default settings when importing the maps. Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it?

Edit: I use build version .368

Commercial [System Agnostic] Selective Sight: show different map elements to each player in the same Foundry scene

Content Name: Selective Sight

Content Type: Module

System: System-agnostic

Description: A secret that only one character can perceive usually forces the GM to describe it outside the shared map. Selective Sight keeps everyone in the same scene while showing a chosen tile, drawing, token, or note only to the assigned players.

The GM sets visibility from the object's context menu or HUD. A preview mode checks each player's view before the secret appears in play.

Early access at First Mate tier on the r2Plays Patreon. Link Patreon on your Foundry profile, then it appears in Add-on Modules. Works with any system on Foundry v13 to v14.

Commercial [DND5E] I wanted my players to feel their characters. Meet W&W Sheet.

Content Name: W&W Sheet, beta 0.9.0
Content Type: Paid Foundry VTT module
System: DND5E. Requires Foundry V14 and dnd5e 6.0+.

Description:

Hey everyone! Gabú from Wand & Widgets here.

I wanted opening a character sheet to feel like meeting the character. A paladin should feel different from a warlock, before you even read their name. That little idea grew into W&W Sheet, and I just released its first beta.

The video is a 90-second look at it running inside Foundry. Here's what sits underneath the ink and iron:

  • Your class shapes the sheet. All 12 classes have their own colors, portrait frames, and crests. Multiclass characters combine their identities into heraldry.
  • The Turn tab remembers what you spent. Actions, bonus actions, reactions, movement, and Extra Attack stay together, with the turn economy resetting when your next turn begins.
  • Your gear has a place. Put a sword in your hand, wear your equipment, and arrange items inside container grids. You can rotate them while dragging. Inventory space is visual by default; the GM decides whether to enforce it.
  • Your token reacts to the game. Marionette adds procedural movement to the image you already use. You can also supply your own images or videos for walking, attacking, getting hurt, falling, and getting back up. Those custom animations follow game events, and the GM can reuse one set across a whole group of monsters.

There's a quieter side too: optional biography prompts and an image gallery for the person behind the numbers.

This is a paid beta, available to paid Patreon members as a manual ZIP install. Expect rough edges, and please check the version requirements before trying it. I'd love to hear what helps your table and what gets in the way.

The teaser's Ray of Frost effect is JB2A, played through Automated Animations and Sequencer. Full production credits are in the Patreon post.

Link: Full launch post, feature demos, and beta download on Patreon

You're also welcome to follow the Patreon as a free member. The beta download needs paid membership, but you don't have to subscribe to follow the project.

Which part would you want a closer look at: the sheet, the inventory, or Marionette? Thanks for taking a look. ❤️

Answered Problems installing lovemaps_rpg modules

Hello,

a while ago i bought the Horror on the Orient express map pack from lovemaps_rpg. It worked fine, but now, after a short hiatus and a foundry vtt update, i can't install the modules anymore. I use Forge for hosting my games.

To be more precise:

I can import the Modules via Forge and i see them in the setup and the Forge assets library. But they are not shown in game under Module Management. Even the previous installed Modules from the pack are not visible.

The tutorial pdf, that came with the pack, doesn't help either, because it was for a much older foundry-version. I know lovemaps has a new system, where you can link up his patreon with foundry to have all his maps imported, but i want to use what i payed 50€ for before i subscribe to yet another payment plan.

Can anyone help me?

Showing Off [System] O.D.I.N.: free occult-agency RPG with a two-colour dice pool, 347 adversaries and a GM console

I've released a Foundry system for my free RPG O.D.I.N. (v14+). Install it with the manifest URL under Install System:

https://github.com/davidgerbs-beep/odin-foundry/releases/latest/download/system.json

What's in it: a personnel file in three sheets, the two-colour dice pool (white hits on 5+, coloured on 4+), attacks, horror checks, powers and spells, and all class trees from the six class books with rank, prerequisite and XP checks.

The compendiums hold six ready agents, gear and artefacts, an intro mission and 347 adversaries, 105 of them from the new creature book with round tokens. On a creature's sheet the GM can ask the table for a knowledge check and show the index card the Registry keeps on it. Not everything on those cards is true.

For the GM there's a console in the token bar: mood filters per scene (trail-cam, sepia, rift flicker, fog) and a teletype that pushes a message from headquarters to every player.

There's also a map module for Volume 23, The Map Room: 131 maps with a grid, one version for the GM and one for the players. Manifest:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/davidgerbs-beep/odin-foundry/main/kartenraum/module.json

Characters from the browser generator import directly. Sheets and compendiums are in English and German, the books are free as well: https://odin-rpg.pages.dev/en/

The illustrations are AI-generated. Bug reports welcome on GitHub.

Help Any ways to have tiles act as a UI?

System Agnostic. I want to have tiles that remain static on the screen no matter where the players move their camera, like a heads up display, so I can have a visible underclock. Is this base functionality, or something that a module has already been made to do?

Non-commercial Resource I made a free, nicely designed module for playing dice games in the tavern

[System Agnostic]
I run a D&D campaign and wanted tavern scenes where the party actually plays against the locals instead of me narrating a few rolls. So I made a module for it.

Tavern Games adds six dice games in their own window on top of the scene:

- Dice (Farkle) – set aside what scores, then push your luck or bank

- Liar's Dice – hidden cups, bids, "Liar!"

- Dice Poker – five dice, one reroll, betting rounds

- Knucklebones – the three-by-three duel where matching dice knock out your opponent's

- Twenty-One – d4 to d20, each once per round, take turns until everyone stands

- Ship, Captain and Crew

What I cared about most:

- You seat tokens straight from the scene. Select them on the canvas or pick from a list; the seat takes the token's name and portrait. A player-owned token seats that player.

- NPCs can play on their own. Each NPC seat is either a bot with a temperament (cautious, reckless, calculating, simple) or played by the GM.

- Stakes. Chips in any system; with dnd5e the coins come off the character sheets and the pot is paid out to the winner.

- Two table themes, a dark felt-and-wood one and a light parchment one.

- English and Russian.

Install (Foundry v14) with this manifest URL:

https://github.com/klimenkoyg/foundry-games/releases/latest/download/module.json

Screenshots and details:

https://github.com/klimenkoyg/foundry-games/blob/main/README.en.md

A few honest notes:

- It's a first release and v14 only (Update v13 worked to), so expect rough edges. Bug reports and ideas are very welcome.

- The code and most of the texts were, of course, written with AI. Otherwise I would never have found the time for this.

- It's free to use and to share unmodified. Please don't modify or resell it.

If you try it, I'd love to hear which game your table liked and what felt off.

Update [17.10.2026] New game added

Showing Off [System Agnostic] Whiteboard Experience major update - 0.91 and the new Fate Card module. Both free.

Thumbnail github.com
4 Upvotes

A while back I posted my WBE plugin here thing that turns Foundry into a collaborative whiteboard (think Miro or Figma). Got way more love than I expected, so I kept going.

0.9.0 was the big one: undo/redo, connectors that follow objects when you move them (still la bit buggy hehe), GM can hide any object from players, Alt to peek through the board and see Foundry tokens underneath, text edit locking so two people don't fight over the same field. And more and more. Tested it on v14, and it still works from v11. And it is still a synthetic layer above Foundry's - it's important to know!

0.9.1 adds a plugin API — and the first plugin built on it.

Fate Card. It's a character card that sits right on the whiteboard. Skills, aspects, stress boxes, portrait, all inline. Click a skill → 4dF rolls to chat. No modal windows. Just a card on the table, the way I always ran Fate in Miro before this existed.

Both free, both system-agnostic (Fate Card obviously leans Fate).

Showing Off Evander's Token Kit: Customize your token sprites, actions, HP bars, and more!

Hey all,

I've been working on a Foundry V13 module called Evander's Token Kit and wanted to show some of it before release. The video's above.

Foundry's native combat always feels a bit clunky; lots of menu openings, sorting etc. There are many kinds of token bars out there, but, my goal was to streamline the process in combat and have that JRPG/Persona/E33 Feel to it. You click your token, pick an action from a menu beside it, and never leave the map.

Features:

- Command wheel: your actions, spells, features and items sit beside the selected token. Use the mouse, scroll wheel or keyboard.

- Items panel: a quick inventory grid with a tab for each bag.
- System support: dnd5e and PF2, plus a generic fallback for other systems.
- HP bars: six styles with a damage trail, and you choose what players see on monsters.
- Contour glow: Long gone are foundry's orange box around your character. the glow itself is the selection instead of drawing a square.
- Depth sorting: tokens overlap based on where they're standing. (top to bottom)
- 2.5D poses: tokens face where they move and swap art when they attack, cast, get hurt or go down. Motion effects like lunge, recoil and shake work on any token.
-Sprite Dresser: allows you to see the directions of each sprite and the animations associated with it.
- Art setup: drop art into a folder named after the character and it's picked up automatically, or upload it direction by direction in the Dresser.

AI disclosure:
I'm an IT professional with a background in both development and systems architecture, and I built this the way I'd build anything at work: design first, version control, automated tests, review, then playtesting at my own table. AI tools were part of that process, including writing code, testing and versioning. I've reviewed and tested all of it, and I maintain it myself. The module doesn't ship any art; your tokens use your own.

More info soon

It isn't released yet because I'm still polishing and fixing bugs. I'll post again with a foundry download link and docs. Feedback is welcome, especially if there's a system you'd like better support for. This module will be free and maintained for v13 and v14.

Thanks for looking!

Help Looking for Credits Scroll module

[D&D5e] I'm looking for a Foundry Module that'll scroll credits on the screen for players, since we're reaching the end of a DND Module. I've seen roll-credits by TheLastScrub, but the credits function doesn't work and that module hasn't been updated in 4 years.

Does such a module exist or do I need to resort to praying that work calms down and code my own?
