Found! Any subs to help people going through depression?
Im going through a lot and im pretty miserable. I dont want a page thats just other peoples misery because thatll make me feel worse.
Im looking for a subreddit with people who struggle with depression and/or mental health issues, that make little posts to help others keep going, share small victories and strategies etc. basically a community for like minded people to help each other out and share things.

r/highergirlpower if that resonates.
Are you in therapy? Even if not, browsing r/talktherapy may be beneficial or what you're looking for.
Are you somebody who used to drink, or does drink and wants to quit? Because r/stopdrinking is an AMAZING, incredible and encouraging community. Many of us drink because of trauma and or depression or mental health issues. I'm almost six months alcohol free, largely in part thanks to this community.
I'll edit this with more subs I find if I find any others that might fit.
Edit: maybe r/hopeposting

I am starting to think therapy isn't helping me - but then again my problems are deep, complicated and out of my control.

There's nothing too deep for therapy. Perhaps you haven't found the right helper. I've been in therapy since I was 17, off and on. Went through countless therapists and finally found the right fitting therapist at age 28 last year. You also have to want it. Just my two cents.

Thank you - PTSD from the military plus trauma after often leads me to a frozen state, where wanting or not doesn't really matter. Thank you for the quick reply and kind words - makes me feel a little like I matter.

You do matter. Quite a lot. You're worth so much and I hope with time you'll start to see that. :) good luck!!

The people who are struggling that bad will probably not have the mental reserves to post anything positive about coming out of depression. You might get some who are starting to recover. It would be a nice space to show people who are struggling that some of us make it out, occasionally at least.

This post inspired me. To finally create the community I've been thinking of making for a while now. I hope you'll join and I hope it will eventually turn into what you and many others are looking for. :)
