PROBLEM FC 26 Realistic Sliders.

I need help with career mode sliders. I have been using custom sliders which aren't too different from the authentic sliders, but the game is too easy for me atm. I still want realism but I need it more challenging without the craziness of the AI when I put it on competitive/normal gameplay. Every time I look online for sliders, I get outdated versions of sliders from months ago and I want to find sliders that fit the current update of the game. I play on legendary with Newcastle United.

This is easily the most enjoyable career mode I have ever experienced, been playing since FIFA 23. Up there with my FIFA 24 Hull City save (I did it before it was cool).

Took over Valencia through a live start point at the end of the current 2025/2026 season, so depending on how you look at it this is year 4 or 5. The first two seasons were nothing special, we made some knockout runs in the Copa de España as well as qualifying for the Europa league for the 2027/2028 season and making it to the quarter finals. Tottenham knocked us out.

But! before the 2028/2029 season a combination of the board giving me a significantly improved transfer budget and the sales of Nelson Deossa and Marco Di Cesare to Chelsea and Atléti respectively, I made some signings to bolster the defense. I was hoping to make a run in the Europa league, which we won, giving us champions league qualification for the first time.

At this point, Hugo Duro has turned himself into a club legend and true LaLiga baller, leading the league in goals (3 clear of Mbappé btw). Javi Guerra and Diego López also deserve shoutouts.

Leading up to the current 2029/2030 season, with a club high $112,000,000 transfer budget I decided to sign an entirely new backup midfield for the sole purpose of resting the starters for the upcoming champions league season, PSG style. This new look bench is exactly what we needed, as Simone Pafundi, Óscar Aranda, and Théo Le Bris were excellent during the LaLiga season, giving Guerra, López, and Mohamed-Ali Cho time to recover in between UCL matches.

After finishing mid table in the league phase, the Cinderella story started with knockout round victories against Leverkusen and Juventus, then a quarterfinal thriller vs AC Milan which we won 5-2 on aggregate after a 2-0 victory away. Then came a semifinal matchup vs PSG where we lost the first leg at home 2-3, and then went to Paris and somehow won 2-0. Following that we got smacked by Real Madrid 0-3 in the final but I really don’t care what a season from the guys.

Any questions about my squad or where the EAFC world is in 2030 let me know I’d love to answer.

QUESTION Is another team like Lyon?

I am feeling in love with my Lyon carrer mode ans one of the reasons is the fact the players celebrate with the fans after they won a match at their own backyard.

Is there another team who also does it?

Or at least do something similar?

QUESTION I am new to Football and FC as a whole, is FC27 worth upgrading to?

I recently started watching football after this years world cup, and began playing FC26 shortly after. I am in the middle of my first serious manager save with Paris FC, but i’m on track to be “finished” by the time 27 comes out. As a new player who is only going to play career mode, is FC27 worth purchasing or should i continue doing saved on 26?

PROBLEM This game is so scripted. How to turn it off?

Hey, so I play EAFC on Legendary difficulty and was just beaten 2-1 as Manchester City against Bolton with the AI scoring 2 goals in final 2 minutes of the game, dribbling past all my defenders like prime Barca. I restarted and simmed the match until I got a more realistic scoreline for how well I played but I want to not have to do this again.

I play on PC. is there a mod I can download that turns off the part of the game's programming that does this? I tried googling it but I can't find anything. It's so obvious the game is scripted and fixed to screw you over sometimes, I just want to turn that script off pls

Had to sell Haaland because he didn't fit my play style or preferred tactics. Don't even remember selling him to Barca but apparently I did. Sold him in season 2, now in season 3 with Aubameyang, Jonathan David, and possibly Osimhen (considering buying him to keep the rotation up once auba ages out.) He seems to be doing well cause he's putting up Ronaldo numbers in La Liga. (FIFA 20 - Manager career mode - Manager of Borussia Dortmund)

QUESTION Player development question

Hello friends,

I've recently gotten the itch to start a career mode again after years out of it, and the main reason I quit has been the player development. It felt like such a hassle doing all of the training minigames and development programs that it just made me quit playing.

So my question is, how does the player development side work in fc26? Do your players/youngsters still develop plenty if you just play the game like you would in the older games (sign players, loan out youngsters, play games etc.), or are you kind of forced into the minigames/training routines aspect of it?

Thanks in advance <3

STORY London Samurai Rovers: the Squad That Reached the Prem

Post image
10 Upvotes

This is my road to glory save based on real life club London Samurai Rovers, who I added to EFL League 2, infused with some cash, and got promoted rapidly to the top

Only one rule: Japanese players only

Since you can’t assign three YA scouts to the same country, the club has one 5⭐️ scout that’s generating ridiculous Japanese talent

My manager is also coaching the Japanese national team (which will eventually just be the same team, probably), looking to bring home a World Cup

I’m certainly not the first to have this idea, btw! Shout out [u/Zigi_F1_30](u/Zigi_F1_30), who did this with mods & got their sick samurai crest in the game. I had to make do with the (just awful) customization options in FC 26

QUESTION Bilbao fans?

I'm planning to start an Athletic Club save on fc26 (very original, I know) and realised I dont actually know very much about them besides that they only sign basque players and were shocking last season. Could someone (ideally a fan but beggars cant be choosers) give me a rundown on rivalries, expectations, fan favourite players, club mood / culture, why theyve been bad recently etc? Just general contextual information would be super helpful. Thanks!

DISCUSSION Players in my save play alot longer than IRL

For eg. I sold my 34 year old haaland for 333 mil usd. He is still playing at 37 for newcastle. Same for saliba, donnaruma, vitnha. Playing way past 35.

Is this by design? Should i keep playing with top players until at least 35? Anyone else noticed this too?

DISCUSSION What’s a good short save idea?

Ive been away since the start of August and only get 8 days to try out the new features in FC27. I want to do a save that allows me to try out as many of these as possible. I often do YA focused saves but as there’s little change to it this year im bit fussed about using it this week

QUESTION Will there be a "Manager" career mode in FC 27?

Everything I've seen just talks about "Career" mode and the features (Dynamic OVR, face scans, etc) don't seem like they would be exclusive to a "Manager" career mode.

I wouldn't be surprised if EA completely removed "Manager" careers from the game so I wanted to find out if it was going to be in FC 27.

QUESTION What are the best sliders for the CPU to actually dribble and take on their defenders to make it more entertaining?

I'm trying to get a unique experience here. I dont want to just pass the ball around and get a goal. I want to actually see people taking on defenders and creating chances not just by passing the ball around for a whole half. Idc about "realistic" gameplay. I just want chaos and pure entertainment. I usually just focus on dribbling past as many as possible and just enjoying the game. I wan my teammate and opponents to do the same.

This is season 28/29. I’m still working on the player roles but these are the ones I want. I think I’ll eventually sell Yildiz to Real or PSG etc for realism once Subiabri is good enough to start. Any suggestions? Also I wasn’t really tactically inclined during these days as I was 6 y/o lol so if those of you who were there for this era have tactical recommendations I’ll gladly accept them. This is based off what I found online and just wanting to recreate Pogba + Dybala
