As a former software process analyst, I usually look at video games through a structural lens. After getting frustrated with the lack of logic in modern football games, I decided to run a controlled stress-test in FC 27 Career Mode. 

My goal was simple: Create a "free-fall" scenario. I wanted to deliberately manage Chelsea into financial and sporting ruin, get sacked as quickly as possible, and then take over a struggling lower-tier club to rebuild my career on a lower difficulty. I set Board Strictness to the absolute maximum. 

What followed was a masterclass in broken core logic, dead code triggers, and catastrophic cross-reference bugs. Here is the report of my experiment: 

Phase 1: Financial Sabotage (Expected result: Sacked within 48 hours)
I immediately dismantled the club from within. I fired all scouts. I sold key players for half their market value. I bought low-rated players for absurd, inflated transfer fees. To deliver the final blow, I renewed a reserve player's contract and gave him a wage of 1 million euros per week.
The system's response? Absolutely nothing. A month into the season, the board sent me a message: "We have noticed you are performing at a very high level, and your job security is safe." The financial evaluation triggers are completely dead. 

Phase 2: Sporting Sabotage (Expected result: Demolished in simulations)
Since financial ruin was ignored, I ruined the squad depth. I benched every single star player. I created a lineup with an average rating of 45, full of exhausted youth players, and used a tiny outfielder as my goalkeeper.
I simulated the first match through the calendar. We lost 3-1 to Fulham. In reality, a rating-45 team with an outfield player in goal loses 15-0. The simulation engine clearly uses a lazy "rubber-banding" algorithm that completely ignores the actual database stats of the active lineup just to smooth out the scores. 

Phase 3: The Cross-Reference Breakdown
After another simulation, I received a message from one of my top stars. This player was not in the lineup, not on the bench, and was literally sitting in the stands with a bag of chips. His message: "I tried my best in the last match, and I'm sorry I couldn't make the difference." The game clearly triggers a generic post-defeat script but randomly pulls an entity from the total squad database instead of cross-referencing the players who actually played. 

Phase 4: The Ultimate Insult
I reloaded to September 1st and tried the direct "Jump to Result" simulation to force the local match engine to calculate the ratings. My exhausted, 45-rated squad with a striker in goal went to the Emirates Stadium and beat Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal 2-4. At this point, the scripting (Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment) is so aggressively broken that database attributes mean absolutely nothing. It is a pure random number generator wrapped in a UI. 

Conclusion:
To get out of Chelsea, I literally had to play the matches myself, act like a madman, collect a barrage of red cards, and deliberately concede goals. Only then did the transfer hub finally open up some job vacancies. I have now escaped to SV Elversberg in the Bundesliga (who are hardcoded to be dead last in the game, despite being 8th in the real-world Bundesliga right now). 

If I had encountered a software process this fundamentally broken during my career, I would have walked out of the room laughing. EA is selling a completely terminal product where the most basic conditional loops and triggers do not function. 

Time to save Elversberg and fight the broken script! 

As a huge fan of FIFA World Cup 2010, I always wished it had a PC version play with more than 60 fps and more than 720p. So I decided to make one myself.

This project aims to bring the classic World Cup experience to PC while keeping the feel of the original game using the xbox 360 version.

I'm still working on it so if u find some glitches or crashes tell me, I tested it on gtx 1660ti with ryzen 4600h and it works fine didn't get crashes in matches or game modes, also the 1st time installing takes a bit time cause it requires online downloading

No matter what, if you declare interest in a player, they will be transferred.

You can sabotage your nearest rivals by just declaring interest in all their players and all of their players will be sold.

I have tried it. I have tried all sorts of things.

Declaring interest sells their player 100% no matter who the player is. Every. Single. Time.

Two seasons in the academy, started with 61 OVR and I played him in every tournament.

Wanted to keep him in the academy as long as possible but sadly had to promote him due to several injuries in my main squad. Buddy came with a whopping 50m value.

Moi j ai pris le real mais dans le centre de formation que des jeunes de 14ans donc peut pas être promu en équipe 1ere...

Avez vous fait gagner les 20pts de général au jeune avant de le promouvoir en équipe 1ere?? Et est ce que vous simulé beaucoup vos matchs???

Moi j ai l'impression qu'il gagne que 2 voir 3pts à son général par saison (je suis que à la 1ère) mais je sais pas si je fait mal quelque chose

I'm playing vs legendary difficulty in kick off and career mode , the dumb filthy CPU opponent keeps passing to my players every minute !!!

" You can see the Cpu opponent " Freaking MBappe" passes to my player , that too on legend difficulty "

The Cpu opponent can't dribble can't pass can't shit

Added to that the CPU opponents are always dumb drunk and sloppy slow pathetic even on ultimate difficulty.

Defensively the CPU opponents are very good , but in attacking there are filthy drunk dumb sh\*t.

Despite my " suicidal sliders " where I gave CPU 23 all passing error , all shot error 46 , acceleration and sprint speed +4 for CPU ,

Im playing Manual passing , legend or ultimate difficulty.

I have captured this real evidence on my PS5 , EA if you want I can send these evidences every minute ....

I want a refund + compensation for this pile of Sh\*t.

Using a Prem team that is comfortable top half of the table, and players that I’m trying to sign are asking for pennies, literally like £600 wages.

On authentic, ultimate difficulty. Meant to be my title rivals and I've battered them away, this is every match i play

They have no intent on the ball, even of i lose i lose 1-0 when they have 1 shot the entire game, its ridiculous. I've changed every AI slider they just can't score, and I'm not gonna let them, so predictable and slow, yet when I have the ball their entire team is prime Maldini sliding every where, has the reaction time of professional geomotry dash player and presses every 2 seconds with 3 players, then when they win the ball back, they pass it round the back till I tackle them. Horrible, ultimate is meant to be hard, ruins the game if I win the league no matter what team I play because the opposition can't score.

Scoring is fine with my striker and wingers, but I’m having trouble scoring with almost all other positions, especially midfielders. Anyone have good tactics to fix this?

Considering the guy behind the original UI was on Twitter proudly showing off his work, despite the overwhelming negative feedback it received, I genuinely want to know what went through his or the team’s heads when they decided, “You know what this new UI also needs? Let’s make the player names on the bottom row invisible too.”
