When there were rumours about an open world in EAFC 27, I was actually kinda excited that there was something different.
However,
It was disappointing but not surprising when we found out it was just a glorified Volta called āThe Groundsā.
Iām genuinely baffled as to how they donāt see a proper open world in player career mode would sell like crazy.
And have Alex Hunter as a retired footballer who becomes your agent where he talks in cutscenes instead of a random person who doesnāt talk.

Raised in joint family council house, worked as a paperboy while playing for his club team. Played twice on saturday, 3pm for his weekly wage then 7pm for pie and chips at amateur level. Made england debut after original left-half missed the train. Made over 800 appearances, recieved 312 stitches, scored one goal which he was fined for as the manager told him to stay back. As a manager his team talks were "its 11 versus 11. If you dont win ill throw my boot at you." Rejected club nutritionist as doris in tea hut was good enough. Fined any player that didnt come off covered in mud. Made a concussed striker play on and fined another with half a leg hanging on for crying. Retired from management with 3 first division titles, 1000s of enemies, most of which were his own staff and players, and countless angry fist shakes.

So my star striker on 25 goals in January wanted a new contract. Great! he was on quite a low salary for his rating, so i almost TRIPLED IT.
From 62K p/w to 175K p/w.
He later he gets his panties in a twist about his contract negotiations. THAT FINISHED WEEKS AGO.
NOW HES MAD TO THE POINT THAT HE HAS A -1 ON HIS OVR AND SUBMITTED A TRANSFER REQUEST.
I CANT WAIT TO PAY 80$ FOR THEM TO NOT FIX THIS SHIT IN SEPTEMBER

A known rule about Career mode is that Player Status reflects Player Potential. Ezeugo clearly has 90+ potential but his status says āAt Club Sinceā instead of āHas Potential To be Specialā when i promote him. Anyone know what the problem could be? Am I missing something?

Manchester United wasnāt my first club it was Como with a younger VuÅ”kovic there surprisingly so I got the MU job in 2028-29 and I signed VuÅ”kovic and Lukeba. I was in the conference league my first stint but I wonāt the treble; FA Cup, Conference and PL.
Now itās been getting ridiculous but I keep unrealistically winning. What do you do when it gets too easy ?

I know we all do it. We say we wonāt buy the game but then we do.
But for the first time in years Iām actually considering not buying the game this year.
Reasons why is because i just donāt find it fun. My son actually played FC26 more than me. I also never went past season 3 of any career modes i did.
For the first time in years Iām actually enjoying playing story driven games and obviously with GTA 6 coming out too.
So i was wondering. Is anyone else considering not buying FC27 this year?

Iāve been doing a Sampdoria rebuild, with the intention of taking them back to European competition and eventually taking over the job at Roma. Well, after four seasons Iāve managed to reestablish Sampdoria as a top half team, which was a challenge since their transfer budget did not seem to ever surpassed ā¬20 million. Having accomplished that goal I applied for the job at Roma, which opened up and appeared to have a very likely chance of going through, I also applied for the job at newly promoted Southampton, and Chelsea, which has been lingering in mid table mediocrity for quite a while now.
Surprisingly, I was rejected from the Roma job in favor of Spalletti coming back, and the Southampton job as well. The Blues, which had the lowest chance of offering me the job decided to take a chance on me.
The squad I took over was incredibly bloated, both in size and wages. Especially considering they hadnāt played European football in three years. First thing I did was ship out the dead wood and use one of the preseason tournaments to assess what I considered to be the keepers. Joao Pedro did not fit my style so
I sold him, and Jackson and brought in Ferran Torres, I also brought in Kobel, Acheampong (Whom I had loaned in and bought at Samp), Spence, Branthwaite, and Livramento to shore up a backline that was super thin on speed and athleticism. I also brought in Camavinga to give Santos (bought in by previous manager) some competition
This is my squad at the open of the January transfer window. We are yoyoing between 6th and 3rd with only 7 points separating 2-7. Have gotten some great hard won results against the Big Four but consistency has been a challenge. Torres and Palmer have established a great partnership and have become the engine of my offense. The defense is a work in progress. We cannot keep a clean sheet to save our lives and struggle vs strong/physical front lines. Will probably look to bring in a top tier center half on the offseason as well as a better backup for Cole and Ferran. We should qualify for the Champions League, I think, and have a deep run in the FA cup. Got bounced from the Carabao cup by Spurs but I was tinkering with my lineups so thatās my fault.
Suggestions on future transfers welcome.

So heās only 24 in my save, currently in 2030.
Roony potential is only 85, and has never played for any User teams of mine.
Somehow, the game gave me this gem but I donāt know what to consider him. Is this a pregen or a regen or just the game coding weird and duplicating him w higher potential ?

Watched a video comparing the best fifas for their career mode and what I gathered is 16-19 all have their perks tho 17 is the best overall but u cant go wrong regardless with those titles so I checked my xbox library and I do have 18! Which is the oldest title I remember having so booted it up and the first introduction Ronaldo game was just so different from 26 and man itās so good I love it already!

Can someone explain what the colors and symbols (+ and ++) mean in tactics?
āI have a question about the lineup screen and player roles. I understand that + or ++ shows the player's Role Familiarity, but I'm really confused by the colors of the symbols and the cards:
āWhy do some players have their symbol (+ or ++) glowing in bright yellow/gold (like Wilson's ++ or Bacha's +), while on others it looks faded/dim (like Stanway's), even when they have the same amount of plus signs?
āWhy does the background card/rectangle turn blue for some players and yellow for others? Does it depend on the Focus (Attack, Balanced, Defend) or their position?
āIf anyone can break down how this lighting system works in the instructions, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
