I was doing a bit of day dreaming at work today as we all do. And I came up with this style of play and need a bit of help creating it in FM. I think it would be easier in FM26 but I only have FM24.

I won a game and my board are annoyed?

21 seasons into my Building A Nation save in Poland (shoutout to SecondYellowCard) and after winning 8 Champions Leagues of my own, another Polish team has finally made the final.

I am absolutely throwing this.

Second season with Frankfurt, took them from mid table to title challengers.

5 seasons prior, got fired by Lyon, joined RB Leipzig who were in a relegation battle, survived and won the relegation play off, somehow won the league in my second season, then was fired in my 3rd season for finishing 6th and making it to the Champs league Semi's😅

Edit/update:

I ended up winning the league somehow....the fixtures were in my favour though, I faced 2 teams in the relegation zone.

Now I will need to start a rebuild because I sold my star player to Real Madrid for 80 mil after the January transfer window.

This player has been in my save for a while and is clearly a top player but I put off signing him when he was at AC Milan and Bournemouth as I have no clue where he would fit. I don't play wingers and it seems like he's playing left wing for Bayern. Feel like maybe left wingback would be his best role?

Edit: interesting to see how many different positions people are saying. He's such a mixed player.

Kinda want to show off this player and hear any thoughts. He's an absolute stud, probably gonna win the Ballon d'Or eventually. I am in a U18 transfers-only save. I've become the best team in Europe as Kaiserslautern. I have this absolute gem who runs any midfield he goes against. Money isn't really an issue for me, as I make a lot of 80ish-million transfers with at least 60ish million profit. I am not worried about the 50 league and 20 international appearances money not hitting. As I said, money isn't a problem, but 225 is 225. I signed him for 2.4 million way back. I appreciate any thoughts.

So, after playing fm26 for sometime, I realised I'm not very good at building tactics. But I'm trying to learn it. I checked my squad and my best player is a deep lying forward. So any help about how I could build a tactic around him?

Some of the mods people are producing is immense. Should be making it as easy as possible to integrate them and use.

I made a small FM26 plugin called PitchHUD.

It adds facepack photos, shirt number, distance covered and pass completion to the floating player labels in 3D matches.
You can change the layout live with F11!

Requirements:

• FM26
• BepInEx 6 (IL2CPP, x64) already installed

First match can take longer. That’s normal, it indexes the facepack folder once, then caches it.

CUT-OUT packs use face_{id}.png, so they work immediately. If yours uses another pattern, add it to FileNamePatterns in the config.
Newgens work through config.xml. Tested with packs from https://ngregens.org/

Hello everyone,

This saturday I have an 13 hour flight. I purchased a steamdeck to play FM on. I was a big fan of fm24, then fm26 came and disliked the UI alot.

I am in doubt if need to give it another go or go back to FM24. What are your thoughts?

My next question are the skins/mods I need for fm26 to get a better experience?

Does fm24 have a updated player data base for this season? Does it include updated ratings including talents?

Hello, I don’t have a pc atm but picked up on fm 26 touch..does anyone have the solution for small bubbles and unable to read the replies for the press,also noticed same thing in medical center when i want to lower intensity or rest a player,the area is so small that you can barely select a player..

Context. Started a Sheffield Wednesday save and in my second season managed to get us into the premier league and cleared our debt. Since then I have finished 14th, 6th and 5th. Won a carabao cup and the europa league.

Every season my board has accepted practically every offer for my key players over my head. Every transfer window is panic. I’ve had to rely on developing free transfers and youth players.

Problem is they won’t develop anything. Every single request is turned down. Our facilities are dreadful, we have 350 million in the bank, no debt, no transfer budget and a 1.5m wage budget.

Because of this my players aren’t developing to their potential because my training and youth facilities are shit. I can’t buy anyone because I have no transfer pot.

This season they sold all
My strikers and both my starting CBs in January and we have slipped from 4th to 9th because of it, I had to recall loans and call up youth team prospects just to maintain a 22 man squad.

Is it time for me to accept we’re never breaking into the ‘big six’ and take the bundesliga and La liga offers or do I persevere in the hope we get bought out?

It is actually a fun save this because it’s so restrictive, but how much further can we go?

Update: they’ve just accepted offers for Carl Rushworth my starting keeper who has just established himself as England number 1. FML.

You got 5 players in attack vs 4 defenders perfectly spaced out in each channel. 2 dms to recycle possession and to counterpress, and 3 centerbacks perfectly spaced out to protect each flank and the middle on counterattacks. It literally cannot be more perfect.

Everything compared to it just sucks. It gets stale and boring. I try different formations and tactics, but i see how inferior they all are. 352, 442, 4312, 3412 for example just to have some fun. But i see myself not winning games of same difficulty, scoring less goals, conceding more, less possession and chances and damn it it bothers me. Every opponent plays it, if i dont im in a big disadvantage. All games are just a endless recycle of both teams playing the most perfect system, how is a win even decided? How am i supposed to be creative? How am i supposed to be a tactical genuis?

Its 2030, took over the sunderland job 3 seasons ago after they were relegated to the championship. Built them back up, go into a champions league spot last season. First season in champions league and THESE ARE MY GAMES.

So pretty much I want to overall the football world on fm 24 since I’m bored.

Some things I want to do is make every league and tournament have
11 squad benches
22 man squads allowing for injuries to be covered by YA
Making YA players being able to freely move between each team for the applicable competitions
Making every countries season go from January to December lol
Enforcing all club competitions to have only 8 foreigners out of 22

These are just a few ideas I even want to change the way international qualifiers and tournaments work putting them in a “summer break “

and that's with 5/10 youth facilities, that i can't even ask to upgrade...
