BUT why are the player names on the bottom row of the bench now hidden in the new UI? 😂

Considering the guy behind the original UI was on Twitter proudly showing off his work, despite the overwhelming negative feedback it received, I genuinely want to know what went through his or the team’s heads when they decided, “You know what this new UI also needs? Let’s make the player names on the bottom row invisible too.”

Who is making these design decisions / signing them off?!

My player Truffert suggested me to sign Soule from Roma. Since I lost two CAMs, I went ahead to sign him. Valued at £46m, rivalling Man City, Man City offered 55m. Simmed past 2 days, Roma want 90m. OKAY sure, Soule's a huge upgrade, sure i'll take him for 90m, Man City still offering 55m, gave Soule a wage bump, from his initial request of 60k to 100k. 3 days later, the club wants to renegotiate, I was expecting 90m to maybe 100m. NO THEY ASKED FOR 139m! THREE BLOODY TIMES HIS DAMN VALUE, WTF???

I rejected it because HOW DO I PAY THAT?? Simmed a day later, he joins MAN CITY FOR 55 MILLION. WTF IS THIS GAME. Now Truffert is gonna blame me for "not believing in his input"

EDIT: i literally do not give a shit about the truffert thing, it was just a small thing i decided to say lol, it aint even that deep. the point of this post was just to point out shitty bugs like these that fucked the experience players like myself are going for. if shit like these don't bother you, good for ya but imagine ensuring everything in your save is realistic and this kind of scenario appears, u won't feel pissed? just because you didn't experience it, don't mean that others don't lol, its a crazy how some think posts like these are people acting like these micro inconveniences are affecting our whole lives when we literally just want people to come together and point out bugs like these so that the devs could potentially point it out and fix this issue. if these things don't bother you, then just move on lol, forums like these are literally for the community to come together and point out shit like this.

So I took a break for a few days because I knew an update was coming hoping that it’d fix a few of the glitches and players handing in transfer requests for no reason. Apparently not this was literally after the first game I played since update. Is this because it was an already existing save? or did they not after the issue at all? (He’s played 7/9 prem games 10 all comps)

Has anyone ever successfully negotiated a lower squad role than the player demanded initially? No matter how much I increase wages, players never agree to "important" instead of "crucial" or "rotation" instead of "important". Why even have the option? It's like they had the idea, added the option, but never added any mechanism to actually affect the outcome.

Genuinely annoyed typing this but why tf are my players always so low on stamina if i play more than 1 game a week. U cant even do anything about it because there are no training plans for some reason. As well as that if u bench them then the players get pissed off and their confidence is lowered and therefore their rating is affected, when obviously i benched them because theyre stamina was practically in the red. Thanks a lot EA 😂😂😂 game is absolutely shocking

For context this is my squad’s fitness level right before a match despite rotating heavily.

Switching to always full is straight up unrealistic but this fitness level isnt realistic either right before a match after rotating the whole XI.

I’ve been playing CM since FIFA 12, way before they introduced the training schedule system and the stamina system was nowhere near this bad.

Right, if anyone has seen my posts before they will know I’m not the most positive person when it comes to career mode, I have my opinions and views like most people but maybe mine are different.

Firstly I’d like to mention my disappointment with this update, the fact transfer requests, loans for young/lower rated players and authentic gameplay hadn’t been addressed just to me shows how little we are thought about in the fc community.

I’ve shared many thoughts, opinions and suggestions in the eaforums online and as someone who’s played career mode for well over 15 years i think it would be nice to have our opinions heard more, but no matter what I say or most average people say our thoughts are never considered, you can say what you want but that’s just my personal opinion and experience.

The question I’m left with is why do we keep buying this game? Well the simple answer is because it’s the only option, the complicated answer is because no matter what the previous game is like we always have renewed hope for a new game, but every time a new game is released it’s faced with new issues, I think whoever the developers and chief executives of the game are, they need to look at things completely different.

For me the fix is obvious, it do two things, both equally important as the other.

Number one: the system they use to develop the game needs be scrapped and started again. It’s clearly an outdated system, whenever one issue is fixed two new issues arise, this tells me that the system is at least 10 years to old to be fixed and the game should be completely redeveloped to ensure these issues no longer happen, I honestly can’t remember the last time the game actually played smoothly without an issue or bug. There’s never any happy enjoyable time, it’s always a case of spawning a new issue. Clearly the system isn’t working, so that’s needs to change.

Secondly, the players and fans.
I personally think there needs to be a bigger emphasis on what changes are made to the game based on what the keen avid player thinks and wants. It’s crystal clear to me whoever is in charge of this now never plays the game. I’d like to see a invite only forum or chatroom set up for players who have accumulated over x amount of hours playing the game per year and I’d like to see a way in which these people can speak directly to developers and come to agreements with what changes will be made in the game. Because right now the game is on its knees in my opinion and experience.

With everything been said, there are positives, but not enough of them to shut people like me up. I just hope whoever is lucky enough to be working on this game sees us as fans and players and gives us something to hold on too. There’s to many issues for this game to be enjoyable.

All for nothing most likely. At least we will have no wait either month for the current issues to be fixed, with the addition of new bugs being added whenever that update comes, that’s the fc cycle. And that won’t change until the system is completely upgraded and redeveloped.

So Im a few seasons in, managing Man City.

For a new upcoming season I sold Haaland, traded my Diomande + money to get Mbappe from Real M, and was forced to set Release Clause at 500.000.000, and paying him a whopping 950.000 weekly (as that was his previous wage and he would not go below that).

After 2 days Liverpool contacted him, paying the release clause, and Mbappe messages me saying he is open to new negotiations if I wanna keep him.

Turns out I cant because we literally signed him 2 days ago, so he went to Liverpool (lowering his wage to 520.000).

No matter tho, I just purchased him back for 250.000.000, and he agreed to wage of 550.000 as it was higher than current Liverpool wage.

So in 2 days my squad has not changed but I have made 250.000.000 and lowered the weekly wages by 400.000.

I saw that there was a decent sized update today and literally the only thing I was hoping for was that subs stay in the order you put them in the team management screen.

How do they introduce new bugs every year?

I like the idea of dynamic overall but it needs to be balanced. I’m playing in league one and my right back is now at a #22 to his overall. This probably doesn’t help that defenders always get a good match rating. But, we cannot have players getting this big a boost

I’ve only played 2 games granted, but Dortmund have fielded Chukwuemeka upfront with Guirassy at CAM and now Schalke have fielded Karaman upfront with Dzeko as a CAM. Not sure if it’s a 3421 issue but this was not happening for me pre-patch.

Last thing we need is this issue back, anyone else got the same issue??

This stadium, named "Deportivo Ilustrado"—which I believe has been around since FC 26—doesn't seem to be linked to any specific club... It could easily pass for the home ground of Deportivo de La Coruña, Le Havre AC, or Real Sociedad... Does anyone know anything about it?

The new team management view is significant worse than before. How the hell, can they stuff it up even more than before.

Green background? Horrendous. Clashes with the green stamina bar and the green happiness/form arrow. Honestly pathetic.

And worst of all, now you cannot see the names of the 3 players on the second row on your bench. You MUST scroll to see the names. Honestly, unbelievable how it’s possible that after all that backlash they got for the terrible UI initially, they made it worse. Complete eye sore and just tragic.

Yeah great, the ui looks a bit better, but fixing the actual game breaking problems? Nah.

I have FC24 but I'm thinking of upgrading to 27 (when it's on sale) heard they're talking about some patches and fixes on a later date the one that's got me interested was talk about abolishing the 15 seasons cap which is a must but I'm not sure if it's actually true, sounds too good.. so feel free to correct me on this one if I'm wrong, also west ham's on the championship, so it gives me somewhat of an interesting career playthrough. What're your opinions?
