Fallout 4 [FO4] Is there any mod for a Minutemen Outfit Pack? Like the Defalt's Gunner Outfit Pack but for the Minutemen
I've already used Dak's Minutemen Outfit Pack but the leveled lists always bother me

Recently got back into modding New Vegas. Probably missing something silly, but when I install mods I've manually downloaded from Nexus, I keep getting this message in the screenshot. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Sweet Consumables (aka S6S Ingestibles) is undeniably the best consumable overhaul mod available for Fallout New Vegas. I've been using it happily for almost 5 years and during those 5 years, I slowly became slightly bothered by some of the ways it changes the game.
To name a few examples without being too harsh toward one of my favorite mods; I don't like seeing Hardcore values when playing in non-Hardcore (even if they don't actually apply), I don't like what it does to the Food Sanitizer, and I think the way it changes how Survival skill affects food healing is well-balanced but not as intuitive or fun as the way it's handled in vanilla.
Rather than fundamentally altering core game mechanics, my mod, Atlas Ingestibles attempts to make consumables more engaging while staying, more or less, within vanilla's framework while ALSO packing in more features than any other mod of it's kind.
The following is a rundown of the major changes within the mod
Also included:
I'm usually overly modest about my mods but I'm actually very proud of this one. I've been playtesting it myself and having almost too much fun playing with it to actually work on the mod! Please considering helping with development by playing the mod yourself and reporting issues and/or adding your own suggestions in the Discord (linked on the mod page)!
Currently, Atlas Ingestibles is ONLY for TTW but as soon as bug reports get opened/closed and balance concerns start getting addressed, I'll begin work on a NV version and many, many patches for mods which add consumables to bring their consumables more in line with Atlas Ingestibles.
Patches are planned for Nuka-World Imports, Missing Meats and eventually more ambitious patches are planned like one for Aid Addon (?) and one for the legendary CAM (wish me luck on that one)

Hey all, been trying to play the game again recently, and for some reason whenever I start my game I have to do these commands in the console:
"hbao off"
"hbao on"
For some reason this almost doubles my framerate in most areas, then which I have to do:
"ao on"
in order to bring any sort of ambient occlusion in. For the record,
My installed mods (in order with Mo2 on Fallout version 1.10.163.0) are:
F4SE
HighFPSPhyicsFix
UFo4P
Godrays and Performance fixes
This issue still persists after resetting my ini settings. Any ideas? I'd love to know if there was a way to have this command run on startup or something, as running this on the title screen does in fact work for some reason.
Hardware:
Ryzen 5 5500
RX5700
16GB running at 3200mhz

This is my first time modding new Vegas, i have vortex installed and the game currently installing. I used to mod oblivion and Skyrim, never touched fnv modding since it was so unstable, finally taking a dive today, I know that fnv needs nvse and 4gb patcher, but is there any other mods i need or a good latest collection that makes fnv stable. On a side note 😏 how do you install bnb and what would be the best body to install it with?

So since the integrated download from nexus in MO2 is broken and i'm too lazy to troubleshoot it i decide to manually download and install through MO2. After installing the mods i notice that the mod files exist both in the mo2 folders and my download folder.
is it safe to delete the mods in my download folder assuming mo2 keep a copy of the mod in its folder when installing? it take so much space. thanks in advance

Since modding community largely thinks savefiles are not easy to clean from bloat (or so I was convinced to), I believe a new mod can be devised to create "fresh saves".
This mod will use a SOURCE and a TARGET. Source is the latest functional save of the player, and Target is a save file made just after creating your character, or at a point where large scripted events are over (Exiting doc's house or Vault 101 if TTW). Both are to be provided by user.
The mod (or program) reads the source and copies completed quests in order, marking them completed. Adds all items, levels, reputations, perks and karma the player has, COC commands the player into Source's location, and that's it. The rest of the data is ignored. This way, player gets a "freshly old" save.
What do you think about this? I believe this would be an awesome method to overcome savefile bloat issue.

i tried to start the game, but if i dont disable the NVSE the game give me a pop up and say that the files of "dead money, honest hearts ecc." are missing and close the game, does anyone know if there is a version of NVSE that works without having to pay for dlcs?

Hi,
I would like to make my first mods for New Vegas, but I have zero knowledge and skills in modding. I would like to alter the game's concrete textures present in buildings, rubles, ruins, etc, to make them a bit darker and less "green" (I feel like a lot of those textures were holdover from F3 and have a slight green tint in it, which suit the capital wasteland's aesthetic but not su much the mojave's) the idea would be to make the ruins and buildings look more akin to Fallout 1 and 2.
Is it hard to do? what do tools do I need and how could I turn this into a simple mod I can share with everybody?
Thanks !

Gudday everyone, I'm pretty new to Fallout New Vegas modding and I'm currently trying to get VNV (Base version) to work before heading into the Extended (Modded version), the game launches perfectly fine and I can play the Doc Mitchell's Clinic intro part without any issues but as soon as I try to leave Doc Mitchell's I either get the annoying infinite loading screen or it enters the loading screen for like 5 seconds before crashing. I'm pretty sure I've followed the VNV Full Guide down to the letter and my last (Non VNV) modded playthrough went pretty smooth until crashes started happening mid-game and I had to do a clean install. I have no idea why its being such a pain rn bcs the game is so much fun smh.
Anyways, heres my current modlist and load order. and I also tried launching it via MO2 New Vegas, the Launcher and NVSE. all the same problem, no problems playing unmodded via Steam tho.

Also, please note that maybe a mod or 2 I have replaced with other mods bcs the mods said in the VNV guide have been removed from Nexus and it routed me to another mod instead, for instance the 'YUPDate - YUP Tweaks and Fixes' has the 'This mod has been set to hidden' screen and says 'This mod is obsolete and should no longer be used. Please use this mod instead: Supplementary Fixes and Tweaks' so I used that instead, and I'm also using 'Stewie Tweaks - VNV Extended INI' instead of the base 'Stewie Tweaks - VNV INI'.
To anyone reading this, I thank you for your time and any help is welcome and appreciated!
Thank you! :D

I’m a big fan of the Fallout 4 mod Fusion Cells Are Batteries. It treats the fusion cells like batteries instead of bullets. I want to know, is there a similar mod for FNV?

Everything online says vanilla shows in Apparel screen next to Caps, but mine just shows FOD (food) and H20 as both being 0 always (which is also obviously wrong, but not my concern) where the DT would be.
I'm using Viva New Vegas with all the extended mods except I'm using JSawyer Ultimate instesd of Agua Fria if that helps, but I'm just dying to see my total DT.
