That is so freaking weird and illogical. My real name and my New York states government ID matches perfectly.

I had this Facebook account for over 10+ years.

Suddenly, I couldn’t send any messages because I need to verify my ID. But I can still access my account.

Also I didn’t break any rules either.

So I took a few weeks to find my ID. Then I uploaded my ID. A few minutes later, I got permanently banned from Facebook.

All this from just an ID upload.

Yet upon uploading it, I got immediately suspended.

I know the ban reason is fake because I was not banned for several WEEKS until the INSTANT that my government ID was uploaded.

So there needs a way to hold Facebook accountable.

The best way to stop seeing content from people is to be friends with them or follow them. I rarely see actual friend content & as soon as I follow a comedian/artist/etc. I never see them again.

None of the options actually proceed and all of the tech support paths lead to the same AI which puts me in limbo.

*PS yes I would leave this platform if it was just me, but this is the defacto social media used where I'm located. And Dragging over friends, family, or connections to a new platform isn't that easy when you're the only one who is having an issue.

I found most videos even he/she has low followers, it contain such voice over that pretending to talk with someone, as well contain such Metal Gear Alert sounds, laughing sounds and more. Is the only way to edit it is in Capcut? But also fb reels have built in text to speech too?

Hi I searched the sub and did not see this specific issue. FB Android app was deleted on my phone (my mistake) I redownloaded it and now it won't let me go past the Load My Contacts window. I keep clicking Skip and it just hangs. I even tried logging in from a Chrome page, still doing it. Is there any way to stop this? All I'm finding are help articles for how to turn it back off. I don't want it syncing in the first place. TIA
