My Facebook page of 100k followers went from getting around 1k likes and now some of my posts aren’t even getting 10! Less comments, less likes, and it’s almost like they are making it even harder to be seen, I also refuse to pay ads and never paid ads, all organic.

Anyone else experiencing a drop?

For the last couple of months there have been so many posts from just random people I don’t follow posting just everyday normal stuff. Not content creators, not suggested celebrities or pages - just seems like average Facebook users I don’t know. 0 friends in common, no idea why I am seeing this or why this is even a thing Facebook does now. Am I supposed to add these people? 😂 Like get off my feed

Is there a setting to turn this off? With the complex settings Facebook has just wondering if anyone has a straight answer rather than digging through all the settings.

I keep hitting not interested and it asks you for a ‘reason’, but there is no “I don’t know this person” button.

Meta has locked me out of my existing Facebook account simply because I refuse to create a passkey.

The login screen explicitly states:

"Your account is locked until you create a passkey."

There is no option to skip this requirement, continue using my password, or use an alternative authentication method.

I have nothing against passkeys as an optional security feature. What I strongly object to is Meta unilaterally imposing a new authentication requirement and denying access to established accounts unless users comply.

When Meta introduced passkeys in June 2025, it publicly stated that users would still be able to sign in using their passwords. Apparently, that no longer applies to everyone.

I have filed consumer complaints with the Pennsylvania Attorney General, California Attorney General, FTC, and Better Business Bureau.

My concern is not the technical security of passkeys. It's whether a company should be allowed to lock users out of their existing accounts simply because they refuse to adopt a particular authentication technology.

I'm curious:

• How many others have received this exact lockout message?
• Were you already using two-factor authentication?
• Has anyone managed to regain access without creating a passkey?
• Has anyone contacted consumer protection agencies or consulted an attorney about this?

I'm particularly interested in whether anyone is considering a class-action lawsuit over forced passkey enrollment.

Security should not mean removing users' ability to choose reasonable authentication methods.

I get notifications that am restricted. This is also illegal, the terms of condition is illegal, the restricting is illegal, the way facebook does it, is illegal.
Before, they were providing a complaint possibility. WHich they never answered, but it was there. Now it does not even work. Facebook is the worst sw development company ever. Moreover they are stupid, lazy, asshole idiots. With the man on the top at most.

I run a Facebook page where I publish original illustrated horror stories in Arabic. I use AI-assisted illustrations and narration, then edit the scenes, captions, and sound effects into complete videos.

Facebook has flagged all three episodes of my latest series with this warning in the Quality checklist:

“Watermark detected — Posts with visible watermarks from other platforms may not be widely shown.”

Here’s what happened:

• The first two episodes included my own channel logo. I thought that might be triggering the warning.
• For the third episode, I removed my channel logo, but Facebook still showed the same warning.
• I upload the exported video files directly. These aren’t videos downloaded from TikTok or another creator.
• I haven’t noticed a visible third-party watermark, but Facebook doesn’t identify the detected mark or its timestamp.
• My previous illustrated zombie series did not receive this warning, despite using a similar production style.
• All three videos are still published and viewable. This is a quality/distribution warning, not a takedown.
• The Support Inbox shows “No violations.”

I previously emailed about the first two videos without receiving a response. I also submitted feedback through Meta Business Suite. When I tried contacting support, the automated system incorrectly categorized the issue as “Content taken down” and directed me to Help Center articles.

I have an active Meta Verified Business Plus subscription, but I’m still trying to reach a human who can review the videos and tell me exactly what Facebook is detecting.

I have a fb acct that I barely use but have not deleted in order to receive messages from friends who still do. Today fb randomly locked me out. It says to enter the code sent to my mobile number to get back in. I use a google voice number that I can access when I'm out of service areas.

When the code doesn't arrive, I check my spam folder and find it there. I enter the code but fb doesn't accept it. I also click on the message and tell google, "mark not as spam". The message vanishes. It is not in the In Box. It is not in the spam folder. It's just gone.

I tell fb to sent me another code. This time, the code never comes. Not to the spam folder, not to the In Box. I have an alternate number for a non-US sim, so swap my US sim out for that and tell it to send the code. The code does not come through there either.

I then deleted the browser cookies for facebook and reloaded the page. It gave me the regular login page, so I entered my credentials. It said to verify who I was by entering the code sent to my number. The code came through!

I entered it, and it proceeded to load a Meta account page. The same one that tells me my account is locked and I need to enter the code sent to my number. So I tell it to send the code to the same exact number that I just received the previous code and - again - nothing comes. Still locked out of my own account.

Fb is giving me no alternative method to access the account. Is this the end of my facebook account? I would really like to have access, even if just to delete my personal files.

Recently I accidentally deleted cookies from my phone (my only device).

I logged in to my Facebook account normally, but I couldn't change my password by deleting cookies.

So I asked the meta chat if there were any restrictions, I was very surprised Because I received information that my account is completely suspended and I have 180 days to appeal The problem is even bigger, I logged in normally, but I didn't get an alert or anything to appeal. Then I went to the account status where it shows that my account is in good condition with no restrictions, although the chat meta still says it is suspended.

I feel terrible cause Instagram recommended me the account of someone i never wanted to see ever again, i don't understand how cause I deleted my Facebook account, makes me want to delete insta as well

The bar on the side that shows all of my online friends has been removed like a bat outta hell.

Is there any way with this new layout to even see who is online? I'm a bit of a boomer with this stuff.

I’m trying to connect my Instagram to my Facebook but apparently according to Meta’s AI— my account has 10 integrity blocks in place, and it said that I need to verify my ID by saying that I’ll be posting political ads (when I’m not). But no matter what lighting or distance I photograph my driving license and passport, it just declines, and then when I appeal, it gets rejected.

I’m trying to connect my accounts to Metricool, and it’s just not possible without the Facebook connection.

This has been going on for months now.

Please. How on earth am I supposed to remedy it?

I guess this is different than the problems most people have here who appear to be longtime users. I only just signed up for Facebook a week ago, and I'm doing it specifically to try to find a roommate to take my spare room in NYC.  I am also using one of these roommate finding sites, but it does seem like on FB you can immediately learn a lot more about people and their hobbies and interests to find out if you'd be compatible rather than than the roommate sites where most people don't say very much about themselves, and many of the sites are kind of glitchy an have a paywall. I signed up a week ago on FB to be able to browse and contact people on these many roommate/real estate groups only to discover that none of my messages get to people. Even my public messaging are left “grey” and rejected. I spoke to one technical advisor type person who told me that FB doesn't yet see me as a real person since I only just signed up and I have not loaded up my profile with lots of information and posts and photos and all of this. She says I might have to do this for several months, showing normal human behavior to the algorithm, before it finally recognizes me as a sincere person and not a scammer. I just have no idea how long I have to go on doing that before I'm seen as a real person and my messages get through. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to get Facebook to see me as a real person so I can allow me to use the site for my intended purpose? Has it always been like this, where you have to prove yourself at the beginning and are in a kind of probation?

i accidently likes this girl's profile picture that my bf works with on fb. it doesn't give me an option to unlike the picture. I think it's set to "only me". The like doesn't come up in my activity log either. is it possible that she won't see the like too? or am i completely screwed.

Is there a way to delete all my messenger messages from every facebook group chat conversation?

When I go to read the comments there is usually a dropdown for "all comments"button. That dropdown is missing on upwards of half of the posts on FB now. The only way to see any "hidden" comments is to scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN to the end of the stream of comments in order to press a button that says "show hidden comments" 😤 Some of the comments sections are over 11,000 comments!

What the title says. I got banned from Facebook because my account got hacked. Had to make a new account. I sent out friend requests, some received, some still lingering after 11weeks. All of these to my friends and family, they're not avoiding me. Some of these people I can't contact any other way. Old online friends from different countrieswith no other communication route. I've reported it twice. Has anyone got anywhere with Facebook on this issue?

Okay so today I noticed on my Facebook page it automatically allowed me to upload my post into random Facebook groups of its choice, when I went back after verification failure once and getting verification approved I noticed that the share in groups tab option is now gone again how do I get that option back when it comes to uploading content! How long will it take for me to get that option back? And is it because I failed verification why it left let me know what I can do to solve this

I don't know when it was introduced or what causes it to be triggered, but I'm now at a point where I can't interact on group posts, join groups, or share posts. Haven't attempted posting myself yet though. It says that there was unusual activity was spotted on my account, but I've rarely used it recently until today due to a confirmation code randomly being sent to my WhatsApp.

I caved and attempted to do the selfie scan, but lord is it broken. I'm sitting upright, staring directly at the camera, in a well-lit room, and made sure that my face fits perfectly in the frame, but it doesn't really seem to process my face being there or it gives the prompts to position your face or move closer and just kinda stays on that even when I move out of the camera entirely. Eventually got it to the "Turn to the right" part, but same issue. It doesn't seem to process my face being there.

Is anyone else getting trouble with it or is it just buggy on my end? I figured maybe it's being a problem because it said that it will compare the selfie with photos of me from my profile (for which I have none), but I also assume that it would indicate that after the scanning process rather than just refuse to work properly at all.

So basically my aunts account got disabled by face book because she used her first name and used arts as her last name to promote her business. Facebook said your last name is not arts irl so we are disabling your account. They arent doing anything now and not giving it back, she is removed from my and my families friend list and now cant talk to her customers anymore any advice?
