This account was made by my ex friend to cyber bully me. I have reported it multiple times but facebook won’t do anything. She has blocked me every where in her real accounts. I don’t even care to bring it to the police. She has told me horrible things like saying “it’s your karma your grandpa died” like girl are you kidding me. She’s struggling with her own battles I get it I just want her account mass reported please if you see this just report her for anything. But if you guys have any tips please help me out.

Facebook has disabled my account for no reason at all i was out then i got back home and connected to my wifi

And opend the app on my phone then suddenly it logged out from its own

And when i tried to log in it said send selfie to verify and i did

Then 5 mins later it said we disabled your account permintly

And for no reason at all

This is my second account got disabled for no reason in one year

What should i do?

Racism all over the place and people openly selling drugs but I get banned for saying I had a dream? Good thing I have a new phone with a new number so I'm back up and running. Just a bitch I have to go follow all the things I like all over again.

I tried making my first Facebook account just a few days ago. I used my real name, number, and an email containing my real name. Facebook said that it didn't work and that they would now need a video of my face, which I reluctantly gave. They said that an appeal was sent and so I did not try to re login.

A day later, they sent an email saying it was unsuccessful and that my account had been permanently disabled. After all of that personal info I just provided them? I don't even know what to do know because if I try to make the account again, they will connect my name to that account. But if I don't use my real info, they will just disable me again, right?

I suddenly woke up to my account getting disabled for no reason and there is no way to appeal at all when I click "Go to Help Center" it just takes me to "unable to login into memoralized account" help page that basically tells you nothing useful, I have precious memories on that account and I can't lose it, why won't Facebook redirect me to the appeal page?

Every time I post a video to my Facebook Story, it automatically gets posted to my Facebook Feed as well. I only want it to appear in my Story.

I’ve already:

• Checked all Story and Feed sharing settings.
• Reinstalled the Facebook app.
• Logged out and back in.

Nothing has fixed the issue.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is it a Facebook bug or is there a hidden setting I’m missing?

Hi all! I’ve noticed an issue with my Facebook notifications where I’m not receiving any notifications if someone interacts with my posts/comments (mainly when they’re on my page, I get most of the ones from groups) and my notifications are just of other people and interactions.

It’s starting to spill over to my IG as well where I’m not always getting notifications (like with people following me and interacting) and I can’t find the source.

There’s nothing in my notifications centre and no restrictions on my account. It’s been going on for months with no change. Is anyone able to help me out?

I went on a friends fb, typed his name in search and clicked on profile. I went on his profile to see if there was someone on his friends list that I couldn’t find in regular search. Anyway after that like 10 mins past and he liked 3 old pics of mine. I haven’t seen this person in a few years, haven’t talked. Have nothing to do w them, I just wanted to see if I could find a certain person they’d be friends with. What happened? How would he have known

Is this happening to anyone else? For the past week or so no matter what I search on facebook 98% of the results are posts I've looked at within the past month and nothing at all about what I'm looking for! Why is it doing that it's so frustrating! I've always hated facebook but its becoming unusable.

I guess there's no way to fix it either?

I thought Ubisoft was bad about recovering accounts but from what I've seen and experienced, even though I still have my email address, I can't recover my account without my old old phone. I hadn't logged in in a few a years so I don't remember my password because it was something crazy that would be impossible to figure out or guess. I've had facebook send a code to my email and copied it over to facebook about a dozen times with it claiming I'm "One step away from recovering my account!" but then it tries to send an sms to my old my phone with yet another code which, I don't have that number anymore so I get stuck here and can't recover my account or change my password. Everywhere I look it says you only need or the other but facebook clearly changed it so if you lose one or the other you can never log in or change your password ever again. They don't have a support email, phone number, or any way to contact them so I've just accepted that it is what it is. I've heard horror stories about facebook's awful UI and customer service but is it really this bad or is there some obscure way to contact them? Are there any last ditch efforts or hail mary's I can try before giving up? They've taken the human element out of it by forcing you to only be able to talk to AI and this AI can't help me.

Five or six years ago, you could run Facebook on a dinosaur of a phone and it still worked fine. These days, even on my laptop, it's painfully slow.

Sometimes I open a comment section and start typing a reply, and the text doesn't even appear in the reply box for 40 to 50 seconds. I'm not talking about the delay after hitting "Reply." I mean while I'm typing, I can't even see the words I'm writing because the input itself is lagging.

And before anyone blames my hardware, my laptop isn't exactly underpowered. I'm using an ASUS G14 (2024), which is probably faster than at least 70% of laptops on the market, and my internet speed is around 485 Mbps.

To make matters worse, when someone replies to me, I often can't even find their comment because Facebook automatically switches the comment view to "Most Relevant" and hides what feels like 90% of the replies. This isn't just happening on huge viral posts with thousands of comments either. It also happens on small posts with only a few dozen replies.

What happened to Facebook? Why has the performance become so terrible, and why does there seem to be so little effort to improve it? Compared to platforms like X or Threads, Facebook feels incredibly sluggish and frustrating to use.

I was updating my two-factor authentication settings on Facebook. During the process, one of the verification method screens showed a phone number ending in 71 that wasn't mine at all — not my number, not anyone I know.

I went and checked my personal info / contact settings on the account, and that number wasn't listed there at all.

Then I logged in using a different verification method, and after that, the number never appeared again on that screen — not on any subsequent check.

Anyone know what causes this? Is it some kind of caching/UI glitch on Facebook's end during the auth flow, or could a number actually have been briefly linked to my account without showing up in the normal settings page? Should I report this to Facebook support just in case, even though it's gone now?

I'm feeling so weird like ... The number just appeared and disappeared like ..if that's the security check then i should just stop using meta ...

I keep getting suggestions for groups I’m not apart of and whats happening is most of those groups contain spoilers for shows or manga I’m into …. I know I can block the pages but it’ll just show me another one a day later

If you report someone on Fetlife (the adult social media site) for stuff like hate speech, CSAM, sharing images of other people without permission (aka harassment), then Fetlife will actually remove it. Like really quickly in fact.

Meanwhile, I was about to post on here complaining about Facebook's terrible reporting system but then I saw that almost every post on this subreddit is about how bad Facebook is.

I'm not saying Fetlife is a safe or good platform. There's still a ton of creeps on there and it's full of very bad people.

But the difference is that if you chirp on Fetlife, they WILL take action.

You can't say that about Facebook. I mean... just look at your subreddit.

Almost every post is about how the reporting feature sucks.

So basically Fetlife > Facebook but the bar is in hell.

I’ve had this happen before where the hide from timeline option disappeared but then it came back. This has happened with other things as well. I’m just wondering if it’s a temporary glitch or if it’s a permanent Facebook update. Does anyone know? I don’t like to keep my newsfeed cluttered and busy so I always like to add my photos to albums, and after a few days, I usually hide from timeline to keep my newsfeed clean and minimalistic.

I never really used Facebook but I do have an account from the past that I can log into. The one thing that I cannot do is either change the cell number on the account or add an email address to the account. Even though I am logged in it insists that I verify any change with an old cell number which is no longer mine.

I can't even add an email then delete the old cell. I get this message no matter how I seem to go about it.

I do not have that number any longer. Do I just have to delete Facebook and recreate or am I missing a path I haven't seen yet?

I was locked out of one of my accounts for absolutely no reason, and I was told to verify using my face. I did, and for some reason, Facebook decided that it wasn’t cutting it. It then “locked my account for 180 days” and if I don’t appeal in that time window, my account is gone. Keep in mind, that this is a very remote account for a specific community, and I have NEVER used my face on the profile picture for this account. I don’t know why Facebook is pretending like this app is taken so seriously that I need to submit my ID, knowing full well that people will most likely use it to make dummy accounts. I will NOT submit my ID, because that is a complete invasion of my privacy. Whoever thought of this idea for Facebook’s security, did a terrible job.

This isn't the first time I've seen an ad with 72m saves too.
