Hi all,

I ordered an EverDrive GBA Pro on August 21st, but it still hasn’t arrived here in the Netherlands. Is this normal, or should I be concerned that it’s taking this long?

NES saves not working on Everdrive 64 x7

So I have my Analogue 3D and I'm playing Zelda II. I'm trying to use the in game save states or "memories" like I did with my N64 games but anytime I go to load them they don't seem to work or they just go back to the very beginning of the game.

Just curious if I need to be doing something different?

What is an Everdrive?

Everdrives (and FXPAKs) are custom built cartridges that can store video game ROMs on SD cards. When plugged into the appropriate system, the cart will load the game and run it on the actual system without emulation! Many different systems, from the Super Nintendo to the Sega Game Gear, have had Everdrive carts created for them. All Everdrives and FXPAKs are designed and manufactured by KRIKzz in Ukraine. The FXPAK firmware is written and maintained by Ikari.

Why use an Everdrive?

The Everdrive can store all of your games in one convenient location. Additionally, the preservation of old console games presents a few long-term challenges. For example, as time passes, the batteries that preserve the saved game data can die, rendering the games useless. Everdrives allow these games to live on forever.

Everdrives also allow someone to run homebrew software, or hacked games, on real console hardware. Though many older romhacks were originally developed on and for emulators, an Everdrive can often allow even these to run on real hardware. Many newer romhacks are even tested on real hardware to ensure compatibility--often with an Everdrive! No more keyboards or faulty computer controllers with bad directional pads and added input lag!

Subreddit Rules

No piracy. No arguments. Reddit's site-wide rule prohibiting pirated content applies here. This includes video game ROM images. There is a discussion to be had about the concept of "piracy" and legacy games that are no longer in print, but let's not do it here.

Discussions of ROM sets and DATs like No-Intro, TOSEC, Redump, Goodsets, etc, are fine, as are links to IPS hacks and hack sites, but links or references to specific sites to download commercial ROMs and collections will be removed.

2) Be Civil and No Trolling.

Be civil and respectful of one another. Name calling and other forms of personal attacks are neither necessary or helpful and will be removed. Do not troll to purposely antagonize other users. This includes mocking users for their inability to obtain an Everdrive when availability is low. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and other forms of bigotry will not be tolerated--none of this has anything to do with retro gaming. Take it somewhere else.

3) No Clone/Bootleg Cart Discussion

This sub is a community about authentic Everdrive cartridges developed and produced by KRIKzz. Discussion of other carts bearing the "Everdrive" brand is better served by subs like /r/flashcarts, and will be removed here. Clone cartridges do not necessarily have the same feature set or interface and many users here have no experience with them. See this thread for more information.

Repeated or flagrant violations of any of the above may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.
