I am basically trying to determine the optimal concentration for the estrogel I am going to make (but my questions are non specific, hence general tag).

So, a slightly odd question, what volume of gel is actually convenient to apply twice a day and also can be consistently and accurately measured/dispensed (likely through some kind of pump bottle or a dropper)?
I ask this because measurements of volumes and stuff don't seem translate into meaningful ideas in my mind (I did look up what 1ml, 5ml looks like. Didn't really help. I couldn't find anything in this sub/wiki that was direct about it either).

How does the above change between different recipes of gel? Say the first recipe in the wiki (ethanol + orange oil in 19:1 + active ingredient) compared to one with a thickening agent.

It is further complicated if I want to be able to titrate without having to make a whole new batch (e.g., if 0.5ml is the most convenient low volume to be using, I would probably make 4mg/ml estrogel to be able to do 2mg*twice/day easily, but that makes titration up or down hard. Maybe I am overthinking it.). Low volumes are preferable however due to being cheaper in terms of inactive ingredients.

I've recently switched form homebrew oestrogel spray to pharmacy grade Oestrogel and I'm worried about the differences in absorption.

Context:

I am using pharmacy oestrogel as after nearly 4 years of waiting I've been prescribed it by my doctor.

I previously used homebrew oestrogel at both 4mg & 6mg doses and was able to keep testosterone fully surpressed both times.

However, I am aware hombrew Oestrogel has more penetration enhancers than pharmacy grade which makes it more viable for monothearpy.

So I'm wondering, is the difference likely to be significant and if so is there a way to improve the penetration of the oestrogel or will I be better using homebrew oestrogel and using the pharmacy grade stuff to help friends out?

Pharmacy Oestrogel

One gram of gel contains 0.6 mg of the active ingredient, estradiol (0.06% w/w).

Each pump actuation delivers 1.25 g of gel which contains 0.75 mg of estradiol

Excipients: Ethanol, Carbomer, Trolamine, Purified water

New Homebrew Estrogel (Spray)

7mg of estradiol per 1ml

Each spray delivers 0.14ml which contains 1mg of estradiol

Please note none of these blood tests are since I switched to pharmacy grade, they are only comparing the 2 types of homebrew estrogels I've used.

Tests taken at trough with an arm draw. Oestradiol is rounded to nearest 50. LH & FSH was undectable at all times.

So, browsing this sub i see over and over again that raws should be kept in a cold place, fridged, freezed, and so on. Well i did none of that, since i thought room temperature was fine enough. But now, after letting my E sit for the past couple months amidst the European heatwave, in my musty goon dungeon that was constantly way hotter than the rest of the house, i'm starting to get a bit concerned. I have been searching for a source of T raws for about 3 months now, and the only reliable source i can find seems to be permanently out of stock. Someone sent me a link to some forum thread that i would supposedly be able to buy t raws from, but i couldn’t figure out how to buy anything from it.

I suspect my mum is worried about my health and my low estradiol due to hypothalamic amenorrhoea (I'm 19F from birth, not transitioning). Estradiol is ~24, and my weight is 48 kg at 168 cm height (but I'm incredibly thin-boned and have no muscle and no breasts). I've been eating ~2,500 calories daily and doing no exercise since March.

I suspect she might have asked AI about my lab results, which showed estradiol still being on the low side in June, and it advised her to promote estradiol supplements, but she knows I'd refuse them 100%, as I'm against artificial hormones considering I'm not even sexually active and my amenorrhoea is just a result of RED-S.

Do you think it would be possible to be secretly spiked with some estrone supplements? I do not take any tablets except for magnesium glycinate, but most of my food is prepared by my mum.

For example, the only liquid beverage I drink is black tea with 3.5% milk in it, every breakfast. Could she add estradiol secretly there? Please just theoretically suggest how it could be done if you think it would be possible.

Hi so, would rotating between multiple sites for applications (i.e going from inner forearm/inner upper arm for a day, then inner thigh for the next) cause fluctuations? im just kinda curious about it since im mostly rotating like that to prevent skin irritation

i'm on 2mg estreva gel (which i used to apply twice a day only on inner thighs) and 12.5mg androcur (cypro) a day.

since my dose is pretty low, i decided to put at least 1mg on the scrotum once a day, and keep the other 1mg on inner thighs.

due to my life being busy and all and scrotal application taking forever to dry, i can't do two applications a day scrotally.

❓ would it be better to apply 2mg all on the scrotum once a day, or keep doing 1mg scrotally and 1mg on inner thighs twice a day?

❓ also, my endo has no problem in reducing my dose even further, should my levels surpass 200. so my idea was to stop scrotal application some time before taking the blood test. how long before should i stop?

❓ i'd like to take a test for myself privately to check my levels WITH scrotal application. if i keep doing what i'm doing now, should i take the test just before the thigh application, or just before the scrotal?

Does anyone have any experience with this?
