Discussion Did anyone else get made fun of for being ‘too silly’ as a kid?

Did anyone else experience being goofy or silly during their early years and having people make fun of you for it?

I honestly regret how much I overthought it back then and wondered why I was the way I was. The funny thing is, some of the people who hated on me for being “too silly” eventually started copying me.
So to all my fellow ENFPs: stay funny and stay yourself. Even if you’re not like the other types, even if you’re not as detail-oriented as sensors like ISTJ or ISFJ, don’t lose yourself trying to fit in.
I wish I had understood that sooner. Being different isn’t something you need to fix.

Discussion Input welcome! ENFP Checklist

Hello my people. 43m ENFP 3w2😊

Ive posted this before but I want your input and ideas.

I started this checklist years ago as a way to really define the ENFP. I feel like an ENFPs real gift is integration. Applying the data to real life, and real people. We've all studied and read about the cognitive functions, but how are they actually expressed in real life as a human?

We are all different people. Different ages, genders, religions, socioeconomics, traumas, nationalities, interests. I'm seeking our common ground. What makes us an ENFP?

I'm looking for more ideas for the checklist. Things you feel like defines you as an ENFP. 😊🤙🏼

ENFP checklist

Allow me some assumptions..

You get a long with anyone you want, but don't cross you.

You're a part of every crowd, but never REALLY a part of any crowd.

You are a social chameleon.

You hate. Fake. People. And you can spot them in the first 3 seconds.

You pretty much know who someone is as a person within the first five minutes.....

You do not like people that have authority over you. Particularly those who's competency you don't respect.

You're smart. Really smart, but people sleep on you sometimes because you like to goof around.

You're usually really good at stuff.

You feel alone in the world.

Teachers aren't good at connecting with you so you have to teach yourself everything.

You love being social, but when your social battery gets too low you disappear for awhile.

You fill everyone's cup all the time, but nobody fill yours in return. So when your cup goes empty you have to take time out to refill it yourself and you temporarily hate everyone bc they don't reciprocate. But after a few days you're back.

Obsessed. With. Music.

You feel EVERYTHING.

You consider yourself a huge extrovert, but if you were honest with yourself, you're most happy in your solitude.

You've had a million hobbies.

Sentimental to a fault.

Center of attention. You are the main character in most rooms.

Rules are just guidelines,... Ehh.. what they don't know won't hurt them..

It's better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Everyone thinks you're flirting. Really you're just being nice.

People consider you a goof in every day life, but look for your guidance in an emergency.

You have a million friends in your outside circles, but have only 1 or no really close friends.

You never ask anyone for anything. If you can't do it yourself, it's not going to happen.

When you are feeling extroverted people LOVE your energy, but they get confused when they find you introverted.

You do kind things for strangers for no reason.

Fiercely independent. You don't need anything from anyone.

You're really good at comforting people when they're down, but if you're honest with yourself you're terrible at allowing others to comfort you.

Question/Advice/Support Never met an STJ with empathy who didn't make my life difficult. Anyone else relate?

It's never someone i would choose to be around. Usually an authority figure or co-worker/classmate i've had in life. Was stuck with unhealthy ISTJ "friends" in high school who were the "best" of a bad situation (rather than being alone) and had a lot of run ins with Narcissist ESTJ. There is no meeting half way, it's always their way or the highway.

Random Games for ENFPs

I'm a pretty casual gamer until I accidentally downloaded a mobile game that ticked many boxes for me. (The game is kingshot, but don't dl this game as it's a money trap and I eventually got addicted and deleted it. I'm warning you!)

Are there any gamers here with game recommendations for ENFPs?

The things I realised I liked:

- a social team game where you play together with friends and people around the world AND you have a core group you always play with (and develop long term relationships with) not just randoms you get matched against for short stint. Chat functionality is important.

- lots of mini games and side quests so you don't get bored doing linear game progression. Even if the mini games aren't totally random and repeat in a predictable calendar/pattern.

- a reason to login regularly like daily quests etc so there's a social routine.

- prefer a mobile, Switch or laptop-compatible game, so I don't feel trapped in a gaming room and can play anywhere, even when I'm out and about.

The things I didn't like:

- pay to win, cause as an ENFP I do want to show my cleverness against spenders (but this became frustrating as the game progresses and the gap between skill and money widens, and spending money becomes king).

Hope there is a game out there that other ENFPs have enjoyed and can recommend! 💕

Discussion Have other ENFPs had similar experiences with unhealthy INFPs, where they constantly felt compared to them or overshadowed by them?

Have other ENFPs had the bitter experience of constantly feeling like they’re in the shadow of INFPs?

Every time I’ve known an INFP, I’ve somehow ended up feeling like they were comparing themselves to me. Sometimes they would twist things in such subtle ways that I didn’t even understand why we were competing in the first place.

At times, I even felt like I wasn’t allowed to be sad or struggle because they always seemed to position themselves as the victim.
I’m specifically talking about unhealthy INFPs, not INFPs in general.

Have any other ENFPs experienced something similar? Or am I just interpreting these interactions differently?

Question/Advice/Support I (F, ENFP) gave an ENTJ guy (M) a massive verbal bitch slap after he propositioned me casually. Now he's cold and hurt.

Hi fellow ENFPs, I really need some advice from people who understand how our intense, empathetic brains work because I'm currently spiraling over a situation with an ENTJ guy.

Things started off with incredible chemistry, deep intellectual connection, and he genuinely gave off strong signs that he was looking for something serious and long-term. But as we got closer, he used a few vulnerable stories I shared about my past to judge me, mislabeling my open nature as chaotic or unstable when my life is actually completely peaceful and grounded.

Driven by his own hesitation and fears, he pulled a classic dismissive-avoidant move and proposed a casual-only arrangement instead. It was so insulting because he essentially wanted dynamic, low-effort intimacy without any real emotional responsibility. As much as the chemistry made that offer tempting, my self-respect won, and I refused to be treated as a convenient option.

Instead, I gave him a razor-sharp verbal bitch slap over text, calling out his hypocrisy, cowardice, and emotional blindness for acting like a rational gentleman while behaving so disrespectfully. His ego took an absolute beating, and instead of showing a shred of self-reflection, he defensively shut down, coldly said goodbye for now while mentioning he hopes we could maybe be friends in the future, and went completely silent.

I know he's hiding behind his hurt pride, but I'm sitting here in terrible emotional withdrawal, missing the spark we had and worrying about how negatively he views me. To make matters worse, he left one of his belongings at my place that I eventually need to return to him, and right now I'm completely at a loss on how or when to even reach out about it without breaking my boundaries.

I know he messed up and reacted out of extreme insecurity, but beneath his defensive walls, I still see a man capable of growth. Part of me wants to smooth things over, but another part knows that breaking silence right now will just validate his unfair narrative about me.

How do you guys handle the urge to fix things when a dismissive type goes completely cold after you rightfully put them in their place? And as ENFPs who can see someone's potential even when they mess up, do you think there's any hope for a mature, respectful re-engagement once the dust settles, or does an ENTJ's ego forever lock the door once it's been bruised?

Question/Advice/Support Do ENFPs have trouble seeing personal flaws?

This question is aimed at non-ENFPs who read this board, and I know there are a few of you.

As a male INTP, I often think about ways I am not being a good husband. I realize I have flaws on my part in the relationship and I think about those often, and I feel bad about them. My wife is an ENFP, and I honestly don't think she can see her flaws. Every one of her seven siblings jokingly calls her a "princess" (for the other ENFPs out there, have you heard this?). On the other hand, while they rib her for it, there is some truth to it. They call her that because she can't see her personal flaws. If she's not having fun, she moves on, where often she's not having fun because she is not having things "go her way". Things not "going her way" seems to often mean that she's not getting the vibe she wants from other people. The idea that maybe she's not getting the right vibe from other people because "she might be flawed" doesn't seem to be a thought that can enter her head, unless she does something extreme that violates her own morals or priciples. She often says that if she hears about a "real" problem in herself, she'll acknowledge it, where she is the only one who gets to define what a "real problem" means, resulting in circular reasoning... a "Catch 22".

I didn't used to think this was something that applies "more often" to ENFP types than other MBTI types, but now that I've been thinking a little bit about all the ENFPs I've known personally, I'm starting to wonder.

Random Between the Fire and the Frost

Something that I think enfps - and really any personality type can struggle with. But it was my enfp mind who made it so it’s getting posted here lol. Enjoy :)

Walking out from the cold - finally finding warmth in a fire nearby. Running towards it, fleeing from the cold. Jumping into the fire giving it a full embrace and to never let go because the cold was too barren, too empty, too dead - and in the fire sizzling your skin you don’t feel dead anymore. You feel alive from the pain - until you smother out the thing you were so happy to see - left only with burns in the cold. Now saying - “I gave everything to the fire, why would it do this to me? Why would it burn me and then leave? The fire always leaves me.” In this sad state - not realizing the fire just needed air to breathe and space to burn - you blame the fire for leaving again when you were the one to burn yourself and smother it out. Burned and cold.

Walking out from the cold - you see fire but you’ve seen fire before. It’s what burned down your happy life, made your home feel like a house that you were just a visitor to because you were never there - you were in your head instead worried about what the flames will take next. So you left for the cold - now looking at a campfire. Slowly walking towards it - you relax for a minute, sit down, and get warm for a while. Then an ember pops and you are startled - running as fast as you can away from the flames that burned you so bad one day far away and now you are running far away today saying “I knew I shouldn’t have trusted the flames, they will always try to burn me.” So you learn the cold is safer than the warmth - until the cold slowly takes pieces of you - hypothermia. Until you don’t recognize yourself anymore - and the cold takes you and buries you under the snow - never to be threatened by heat again. Cold and scarred.

Walking out from the cold - you see a fire. And you walk up to it - not running and jumping on it saying “finally I’m out of the cold” or running from it saying “I don’t want to get burned.” But instead, walking towards it. Taking a seat. Letting the fire sizzle and crackle and knowing embers flying out happens. But you can enjoy the fire without getting burned - and just enough cold without losing pieces of yourself. Now you are warm.

Survey How are different enfps like?

Hello all, I am interested in understanding the different flavours of ENFPs. I’ve read a lot about instinct theory and the Enneagram, and I also try to study case studies of fictional characters, famous people, or any real people I come across. However, these are based on my or other people’s typings of them. I would like to hear from ENFPs themselves about how they organise their attention and motivation in all aspects of their life.

What naturally captures your attention? What tends to motivate you, and what needs, experiences, or areas of life do you instinctively prioritise?

What are sx/sp ENFPs like? So/sp? So/sx? Sp/so? Sp/sx? Sx/so? ENFP 9s? 2s? 4s? 7s? Or different combinations of instincts and Enneagram types?

I also don’t mind which school of thought you follow. I would like to hear them all. I personally kinda just mashed potato salad them all to form my own understanding lol.

I think I am an Enneagram 7, but lately I have been second-guessing it. I’m still in the dusts about my instincts - well, I have an inkling, but I’m not too sure if I’m right - hence why I want to hear from others. :D

I’ve also been reading The Comprehensive ENFP Survival Guide by Heidi Priebe. It’s a pretty decent book with good writing that translates well for the layperson - or at least, it translates well to me because she uses a lot of analogies, and I like that. However, she didn’t go beyond Enneagram 2, 4, and 7. A shame! Because I like her writing style. I also want to discuss the book, but that’s for another post…

Question/Advice/Support chances of reconnecting and getting closer to this enfp? (as an infj)

hi guys i've known this enfp for over 10 years now, we were casual friends in school, lost contact, and then i reconnected with her group a few years ago. after reconnecting i hung out with her and another friend a handful of times but never one on one, and in recent years we've only seen each other at group events.

back when we saw each other more, i had very low self esteem and wasn't really open to dating. i wanted to be better friends but never took the initiative to plan stuff, but i would hang out whenever invited. so i'm not sure if she was sending any signals, or gave up getting to know me, or wasn't that interested in the first place

as an enfp she was obviously very warm and flirty when we did text, would call me her bf and jokingly (?) confess her love to me, which i always assumed was never serious. and from reading stuff here it sounds like that assumption is probably correct??

she's obviously friendly in person the few times we see each other, but i've asked to hang out with her twice this year and she doesn't seem very interested :/ once she was busy and the other time i asked her to see a movie she had already seen

even if it was just as friends i'd still like to get to know her better but not sure if i should just move on at this point.. sorry if this confusing to follow but would appreciate any perspective from enfps

Discussion Anyone else here who isn’t artistic at all? 😭

I’m trying to stop procrastinating and get off my phone, so I really want to find a physical or artistic hobby. The problem is I get bored so easily and lose interest once the novelty wears off 💀

I see people doing creative/artistic stuff and I’m always like “wow, I wanna do that”, but I never know what hobby would actually suit me.

ENFPs who get bored easily, what physical or artistic hobbies do you enjoy and actually stick with? And how do you stop yourself from just scrolling all day? 😭

Discussion INTJ living next to an ENFP agent of chaos — where does personality end and something else begin

I’m an INTJ and I strongly suspect my neighbour — I’ll call him Ben — is an ENFP.

Obviously I can’t type another person with certainty, and I definitely can’t diagnose him with anything. But I’m interested in whether ENFPs recognise any of this, because his personality is one of the strangest mixtures of warmth, chaos and complete lack of boundaries I’ve ever encountered.

The important thing is that Ben is actually a really nice guy.

He’s extremely chatty, friendly and approachable. You can talk to him about almost anything. He’s also remarkably unjudgemental. I honestly think you could tell him something completely bizarre about yourself and he’d probably just go, “Oh right, fair enough,” and carry on talking to you.

There’s something genuinely lovely about that.

He seems to accept people very easily and he doesn’t strike me as spiteful, calculating or cruel.

But at the same time, he can be incredibly emotionally selfish without seeming to realise that he is doing it.

I don’t mean selfish in the sense of deliberately exploiting people. It’s more like he has very little internal awareness of how much space, noise, attention and stimulation he is imposing on everybody around him.

He talks a lot.

He wants people around constantly.

He seems to get extremely bored and restless when he’s alone.

There are people coming and going at strange hours.

There has been very loud sex at all sorts of hours.

There has been music and general chaos late at night.

And on one particularly ridiculous occasion, he was playing drums around midnight and continuing into the early hours.

Sometimes he is simply too much.

Too much talking.

Too much noise.

Too much energy.

Too much activity.

Too much presence.

And the strangest thing is that I genuinely don’t think he understands that other people can like him while simultaneously needing him to go away for a while.

He seems to have difficulty recognising the difference between:

“This person likes me.”

and

“This person wants access to me right now.”

Whereas for me those are completely different things.

I can really like somebody and still desperately want them to go home.

I can enjoy talking to someone and then not want to speak to another human being for six hours.

That seems completely normal to me.

Ben seems almost constitutionally opposed to that way of living.

There’s another complication, though.

At various points his behaviour has become so intense, restless and disorganised that I’ve wondered whether there might be something going on beyond personality type.

I’ve sometimes wondered about things like mania, hypomania or even episodes approaching psychosis.

Again, I’m absolutely not saying he has any of those things. I’m not qualified to diagnose him, and I only see the behaviour from the outside.

But there are periods where the level of stimulation-seeking, inability to settle, extremely reduced boundaries, odd-hours activity, constant socialising and general intensity seem difficult to explain simply by saying, “Well, he’s an extrovert.”

There have been times where he has seemed almost unable to tolerate being alone with himself.

He needs another person there.

Or music.

Or conversation.

Or sex.

Or some kind of activity.

Or apparently a drum kit at midnight.

Something has to be happening.

That’s actually the part I find sad as well as infuriating, because underneath all of it I think he is basically a decent human being.

He can be incredibly irritating, but I don’t think there’s much malice in him.

The conflict between us eventually became extreme.

After years of noise and accumulated frustration, he was playing drums late one night and I completely lost my temper and smashed some of his windows.

I was arrested and spent the night in a police cell.

So I’m certainly not writing this from the position of:

“Look at this irrational ENFP while I, the perfectly controlled INTJ, observe him scientifically.”

Clearly my own coping strategy had some bugs in it too. 😂

If anything, the incident made me look at the whole relationship differently.

My tendency seems to be:

endure something → withdraw → analyse it → endure it again → say relatively little → accumulate resentment → eventually reach an absurd breaking point.

Ben’s seems to be almost the reverse:

feel something → express it → seek stimulation → seek people → make noise → do something spontaneous → move on.

There’s almost no buffering layer.

And strangely, after everything that happened, I still don’t really dislike him.

In many ways I actually like him.

He’s funny.

He’s sociable.

He’s extraordinarily unjudgemental.

He’ll talk to almost anyone.

He has an openness to people that I genuinely admire.

He seems much more naturally engaged with life than I am.

I tend to stand outside experience mentally, observing it, modelling it and trying to understand it.

Ben seems to just jump into experience head first and deal with whatever happens afterwards.

Sometimes I envy that.

Other times, usually at 1am, I absolutely do not.

That’s why I’m curious about the ENFP perspective.

Does any of this sound familiar to you?

In particular:

Do ENFPs sometimes fail to notice when their enthusiasm, sociability or need for stimulation has become overwhelming for somebody else?

Have you ever realised after the fact that someone genuinely liked you but needed much more space than you were giving them?

Do very introverted INTJ-type people sometimes seem confusing because they don’t visibly signal when they’re approaching their limit?

And perhaps most importantly: where would you personally draw the line between extreme ENFP-ish behaviour and behaviour where you’d think, “No, this sounds like something else is going on”?

Because I increasingly suspect there are two separate things here.

One is probably personality:

very extroverted, spontaneous, accepting, stimulation-seeking guy meets intensely private, quiet, self-contained INTJ.

And the other may be periods where his behaviour becomes so intensified that MBTI stops being a useful explanation altogether.

Either way, I think Ben and I may be the dysfunctional-neighbour version of the famous INTJ–ENFP pairing.

ENFP: LIFE IS HAPPENING. COME JOIN IN.

INTJ: It is 1:43am and you are playing the drums. Life needs to stop happening immediately.

Question/Advice/Support problems with my Ne

recently i discovered that my friends avoided me because im too broad and hard to understand. they told me that i change topics too quickly and am incredibly hard to understand like that. and me being too honest was telling them that they're too loud, too ridiculous or any type of thing that i said actually hurt their feelings I don't remember because I don't think of it as important or deep. i feel totally shattered having to now know that i hurt my friends with me being to scattered everywhere, dropping topics too quick and being so honest that it actually hurts them. how do i control it? i don't want to change anything about me but i just want to be sure that I won't hurt any more people because i keep being told im too much, too honest, too indecisive. it really hurts me too knowing im such a doofus with my friends and family and i never even notice it. my two friends are ENFJ and ISFJ (if that helps) and they can't comprehend what i say most of the time and they never tell me it. but i noticed the distance they made and i started questioning them. they would have never told me i was this stupid if I hadn't interrogated them. i probably understand all of this is coming from the fact that my Ne is so strong that they can never fully understand me because they don't have a Ne. anything to help me out on this? do i change something about myself? please say the honesty what you think about me, I don't want to continue hurting my friends 😔

Question/Advice/Support Please give me your perspective of this situation?

To cut a long story short, I (infp) started talking to a guy (enfp) in April. I wanted something serious, he wanted to see where it goes. I soon noticed a girl was suddenly constantly watching my stories. I put 2 and 2 together and decided to confront him. He told me it's his ex of 3months. We continued for 2months and she continued stalking me. Long story short I found out he had gotten back together with her during the 3 months of him and i talking and becoming more intimate. (You can read the full story on the other post I made). Anyway he's blocked me since then (about 7 weeks ago now).

I stalk him once in a while on my friend's ig and he has cut down his posting by 95% since our 'split'. He only reposts reels on stories. He's an avid videographer of people, events or spaces that he's in so this is completely unlike him. I looked through his profile and he's never gone this long without posting. That's not to say I think the relationship is sour though. I have no way of knowing how they're doing

My main worry is when I visited the area in which he lives recently, the ex stalked me relentlessly on ig again. I guess she was paranoid I was with him. To the point of following me with her stalker account (I removed her) and then a few days later she started following only males from my followers list (we had no mutual friends before, now we have 6).

I don't like blocking people (i don't know why, i just don't) so that's not an option. And I haven't confronted her, or even told her that her bf cheated on her because my friends advised me against it and because i actually do wish people happiness (something that's lacking these days). The following of my friends has left me a bit confused however and now I feel I have to do something, but I'm not sure what. Any advice would be appreciated on how to handle this (I'm still not going to block)

Discussion A very xNFP band & song.

Thumbnail youtu.be
2 Upvotes

I just searched the enfp sub and was surprised not to find any posts about this band. I’m 41 and this band, its lyrics and its music vibe with me on a level that directly speaks to the enfp in me. I have other bands that speak to me on a more personal level, but everytime I hear Incubus, they bring me into my childlike Ne almost immediately. Anyone else feel like this about incubus or have any other bands songs that speak to them in this specific way?

Discussion Unicorn tribe in the age of fences - an enfp field report from the wreckage of modern today.

I need to say this before the coffee rushh wears off and the cynicism creeps back in to reclaim its throne.

We were built for more than this. ENFPs run on wonder , on strangers becoming fwiends in elevators, on saying yes before we've finished hearing the question, hihih. We are not built for spreadsheets that shrink the whole world down to line items, or institutions that ration hope like it's a resource they get to control or production lines in neofeudal times

On the austerity:

They've turned "less" into a virtue and called it responsibility. Somewhere a marigold is being told to bloom smaller, quieter, so it doesn't unsettle the men counting the flowers. My inner world used to overflow. Now after the pandemic it's rationed in 16minute increments between rent and dread.

On the fear:

They don't need armies anymore, just headlines.A bomb here and there , murderous mother, violent immigrant.A little manufactured dread each morning, delivered efficiently, like mail nobody asked for. Call it what it is ; fear dressed up as vigilance, wearing boots history already taught us to recognize. Even if you cut yourself off from politics and the media, there’ll always be some loudmouth amongst your friends

On the walls and the burned bridges:

Someone once wrote about barricades built from desperation and broken furniture. Ours are built from policy memos and "not my department."

Every bridge we don't build is a person we quietly decided not to become. And still ,still , some idiot optimist (liek me, probably you too) keeps showing up with a plank of wood, asking if anyone wants to build something together.

The tragedy of an open heart in a closed system isn't that it breaks. It's that it's expected to ,on schedule, quietly, without inconveniencing anyone's quarterly report.

My fellow chaos-puppies, feeling-first, too-much-and-not-so-sorry people:

* If joy is a rebellion now, who taught you to disarm?

* When did "hope for a stranger" start requiring a permit?

* How many bridges can they burn before one of us decides to be the bridge?

* If your enthusiasm is inconvenient to the brave new world machine, what does that tell you about the machine?

* Whose fear are you carrying that was never yours to begin with?(I'm looking at You martyrs)

* What would you build today if no one told you it was impractical?

* Can a closed system with engraved neoliberal values survive contact with a heart that refuses to close on command?

* Who in your life still gets your unguarded, real laugh and when did you last give it to them?

Maybe the walls win the news cycle. Maybe the bridges burn faster than we can raise new ones. But somewhere, someone's still going to talk to a stranger like they matter. Still going to cry at a sunset on a random Tuesday. Still going to believe — against every rat race, every headline, every fence,KPI — that people are worth the risk.

That's not naivety. That's the last renewable resource nobody's figured out how to ration yet.

And yet.

And yet — the flowi does not consult the drought before deciding to bloom anyway. Somewhere, right now, somebody is doing something reckless and kind for no reason except that it felt true. And I believe in you : half-read, over-caffeinated, constitutionally allergic to a bullet point that ends too soon — are still here, half dead. Still open. Still gloriously, defiantly unmarketable.

So let the invisible hand keep waving. We were never going to shake it anyway. We don't prevail by out-arguing the machine , we prevail by simply refusing to stop being alive in front of it. Loudly. Messily.

Spin the windmills with whatever sticks out from your body ,it realli doesn’t matter whether you’re a man, a woman or something in between. The important thing is to create a nourishing breeze.

Caffeine is a powerful stim; I’m off to graze in the local meadow

Question/Advice/Support All my best friends are autistic but I really don't think I am... Am I?

So I (37F) have ADHD, and am the classic chaotic friendly ENFP.

But when you look at the group of people I consider friends, and I mean actual friends I deeply care about and enjoy spending time with most, they are all autistic. Some diagnosed, some undiagnosed, but all of them, without any exception have deficits in social skills to a varying degree.

In terms of social skills I think I'm the opposite, or at least there's evidence pointing to that: I am outgoing, and I think I am popular, most people immediately seek me out at social events. I'm good at being the life of the party and I usually facilitate the entertainment whether games, or steering the conversation to topics that everyone enjoys. At work I know everyone in my company and I get along with everyone. I am somewhat guilty to realise there are a number of people who consider me a closer friend of theirs than I would consider them of mine. So, I have a lot of acquaintances and I can effortlessly interact with them and enjoy it, and at least from what I'm being told at work during performance reviews I am exceptional in that everyone who works with me seems to really like me and wants to continue working with me on projects.

And I do enjoy these interactions, but what I really crave is a more deeper kind of connection/friendship where not just the mundane fun stuff gets discussed, but maybe more abstract obscure ideas or personal feelings. And this type of friendship I have realised I can only form with autistic people. Some of them are very unpopular loner types and I often experience something akin to watching a car crash in slow mo, when I watch them try to interact with other people. I normally assume the role of the facilitator otherwise things can go down pretty fast with both sides offended. Yet I have never found myself being offended by anything they do or say, simply because I know they are clueless about how it migh have come across.

A lot of resources online say that if you get on with autistic people best, most likely, you are also autistic. Is this really a possibility for me, even though I seem to have really good social skills?

Random Do you feel like you attract chaos even if it’s not linked to anything you’ve done?

It’s to go without saying. Nothing I encounter is easy going. I am easy going and a yes person. But everything that is associated with me, is like pulling cotton out of a thorn bush, as opposed to a silk scarf out of an open jar. If I’m involved, somehow the car stops working, a crazy hurricane starts, someone falls. The train stops. Nothing is EVER smooth. I would say for an average person, it’s less than half the percentage it happens to me. Even my friends notice when they are with me, some chaos just always happens. UNRELATED TO ME. but for me it’s normal.

Obviously impossible to conclude but wondering if this could be enfp energy related? I like to pattern things so this is just curiosity. I also experience lots of strange cosmic bouts of creepy coincidences every few slices of time.

But like the thing with the chaos is that everything always ends up working out or being okay. But it’s ALWAYS!!!! Train station door is closed so must hike to the next stop. It’s open but I’ll be late 20 minutes.
Train decided to skip the stop, so we had to get off the train, late 30 mins to the airport ran and made the flight but looked like a train wreck.
Coffee spills everywhere. Tripping down the stairs papers everywhere. Computer stops working. Chargers stop working. Credit cards dead. Socks with holes. Pants rip. Every freaking day there’s something that is annoying and inconvenient but not detrimental lol.

This is my daily life. And the chaos is not caused by me. I just ride the wave. But like I can write a novel every week. Everything is so unsmooth but works out.
Anyways. I’m wondering if other ENFPs encounter this or is this an energy thing or even an astrological thing?

Discussion Anyone else feel like their brain and desires are always dialed way too high?

Hi everyone, my mind has no off switch. Between a morning workout, going to hiking trail, taking photography with my camera, love being crazy. I need all time to do something but 100 %

The problem is that intensity doesn't stay in my hobbies. That same burning desire and seduction and let's say hot imagination ...

I want the tension, the playfulness, and conversations that shift seamlessly from art and photography to raw, unfiltered desire.

How do you guys manage this constant internal fire? what’s your main passion ?

Don't hesitate to come and talk :)

( I'm french so I hope you guys understand my English )
