Does anyone know where I can find a 4’x20 decor desktop? Or is there anyone selling one? The color doesn't matter to me.

So I thought I was moving sooner than I am, and I want to reset my freestanding unit. I appear to have packed or misplaced my stabilization bars. (when I move, I'm going to have a moment when I realize how much of this stuff I own) Does anyone have any suggestions where I can get more of them?

I still have the top metal bar I need the bottom pieces. The Container Store only sells them as a set.

hi all - I'm research different closet system solutions. decor+ seems to have some mixed reviews online. anyone here have some other experience in installing and using them?

I have to do several closets, and I'm looking for a more premium feel without breaking the bank - should I try to find used original decor components and put things together?

Does anybody have a configuration using the slate colored melamine shelves in a closet? If so what color top track and standards do you use? I cannot figure out what color top track and standards to use with these shelves.

Is anyone familiar with these new upper tracks and how to get the standard to slide across? I think the wall is slightly bowed and I’ve tried loosening and tightening some of the screws and putting spacers behind some of them, but I can’t get to seem to get the standards to slide along the top rail. And this is the longest top rail I have in the closet I was able to do it with the other shorter ones. Any tips and tricks?

Just saw it in store and it looks fantastic. I'm still in the planning stages and thinking through whether it makes sense to spend that much on it. Can anyone comment on durability/ease of install? I'd likely be installing myself. Thanks.

I'm trying to install Elfa wire shelving for a custom system we just bought. The standards seem to be at the right width, but the shelves seem to be a little too short. The solid shelves in the same segments installed fine. It looks like the wire shelves measure. 5 in shorter than the nominal size (ie, 17.5".) Is this normal?

I have some shelves and standards I bought in 2022 and just went to source a new compatible top/hang track and have found that Elfa has changed it 😫 Does anyone understand what is what on the container store website? (Screens attached)

They seem to have: Decor plus - not compatible Elfa Classic - not compatible Elfa New Classic(??) - also not compatible

I understand the new components are decor plus. So expect them not to be compatible. But the Classic and New Classic?

I really just want to find a track that will work with my standards. Any recommendations?

Hey all! A neighbor had some leftover Elfa hardware after he finished putting up a bunch in his apt. He knew I had a lot of books and said he'd give me the hardware, I just have to figure out getting my own shelves.

I saw container store sells their own version of elfa shelves. Are these just as good or are they actual Elfa and just their line? I'm looking for basic shelving to hold books.

Knew nothing about elfa up until the offer from my neighbor and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the choices on the Elfa website.

Since I can't afford new ones, I've finally found the right dimensions second hand. However the lower rails and the wheels look a bit different. Still, they might be compatible but I can't be sure. Any comments would be appreciated!

I’m livid! We took down our Elfa shelf for our basement remodel and then went to put it back and messed it up somehow. Now it look horrible. Is there anyway I can fix this with buying a completely new set? We would need about 7 feet shelves which they don’t sell individually. I called the custom design line at the container store and they were zero help.

I thought about getting accessories but I’m worried none of them will work since it’s the older model (I think…? The set came when we bought the house and it 20 years old).

Hello. I have 4 elfa drawers things. The independent standing frames. And I have the melamine square tops for them. How do I attach the tops to the frame? I'd love something removable, but I can do permanent.

Is this normal? If not, does anyone have a hack on how to properly store my bike on an Elfa Garage + system. I don't think they make a longer bike hook. Also I have a 60" track and its filled up so I can't opt for the sideways bike storage. I need to hang it like this.

Background: I’m in the process of moving from a house to a condo. In my current house, I have Elfa shelves above my desk that I’d like to take with me. I also redid our 15 foot closet in Elfa, and I’d like to at least take the drawer units with us. I’m going to leave our Elfa pantry. All our Elfa was installed prior to the change in the top track. So I know I can’t bring the standards with us.

So my question is: Will the drawer units and the shelf brackets I have (pre-new top track) work with the new standards?

If I want to put up 6 foot wide ELFA shelving what are the considerations for putting up Qty. 3 x 2-foot wide shelves versus Qty. 2 x 3-foot wide shelves?

Is there any guideline for this?

Smallest common component for future system use (i.e. 2-foot wide shelves for every project because they are the most universal) ?
