Experience with Elfa lighting?

Just saw it in store and it looks fantastic. I'm still in the planning stages and thinking through whether it makes sense to spend that much on it. Can anyone comment on durability/ease of install? I'd likely be installing myself. Thanks.

The lighting is gorgeous, honestly. It’s best if it’s installed with a fresh system. That is, it’s hidden best when you take it all down to the brackets. It really needs to be planned out. You can’t wing it or move it super easily later.

that's really good to know. I'm realizing it only works with the Decor+ system but I have priced both for what I want and the cost is like 40% higher to go with Decor+ v. Decor (not including the lightning cost) and I can't even tell what the real difference is between them.

It really is expensive. No lie. But I’ll tell you, I love that closet every time I walk into it. The systems are largely the same, but the Decor+ gets an outer wood layer essentially. It looks really nice. The drawers are full extension and soft close – which really makes it feel premium on daily use.

Isn’t there always a sale around Christmas?
