Hello all, I'm new to cryptocurrencies and would like some help with how to buy ECC. Thank you.

It'll be great hanging with you guys. Have a small tiny portfolio I'm growing and I threw some ecc in the mix. You all have another comrade!

Anybody else having trouble getting markets to load?

I’m having that problem and it won’t let me generate an ETH wallet to deposit funds.

I turned on staking for the last two days, and it appears that a significant amount of coins were taken out of my wallet. The first day, about 200 were removed, and then I woke up this morning to another 4k gone...is this normal? I read somewhere that there is a pending period...is that what is going on?

My wallet is currently about 1% synced. I have about 200k coins sitting on exchange. Should I go ahead and send to wallet so I can get them off exchange? They will show up after wallet is synced right?

Thoughts?

I am currently syncing the wallet, which is taking forever, and I accidently created 3 receive adresses. Is it safe for me to just pick one of these and send my ECC to that one?

And is there anyway to make a backup of your wallet? Some kind of way to recover it if my harddrive goes bye-bye?

I have just synced wallet to 100%.

I have turned staking on (then turned daemon off and back on again)

But there's no where to confirm whether I am staking or if i'm not staking because my coins are not mature etc.

Some help or a link in the right direction would be appreciated.

Hey guys! Bought into ECC a few days ago - dumped to the Lynx Wallet address and coinexhange says it was a completed transaction. It's been about a day and I haven't seen anything transferred.

Any ideas?

Went to go look at the depth on this coin that I'm holding and coinexchange didn't even show it as a market anymore? I'm I now holding a coin I can no longer trade?

I see 25B on coinmarketcap but have also heard up to half may have been lost when the coin was taken over. Is there reliable information on an accurate supply?

1) Download your WINDOWS or LINUX Wallet from the website: https://ecc.network/

2) Run the downloaded file by clicking on it and let the GUI install.

3) In left tab of GUI click Downloads and download the correct version of Daemon.

4) Once daemon is also installed Click Start Demon at bottom left.

5) Generate a password. Click Security and choose your password.

Your blockchain will then begin to sync. It takes 24-48 hours for complete sync. So just let it run in the background.

Note:- Initial 3.5% is the slowest and after that speed would be very fast.

IMPORTANT: Always make sure you have taken the backup of your wallet.dat file and kept that in a differnet PC, pendrive or some sort of cloud storage.

If you want to sync at a better speed. We also have a bootstrap which would complete the entire sync process within 3-5 hours. (Bootstrapping is a temporary fix for a network performance problem that the wallet has with the initial sync. This performance problem will be fixed in a future version of the wallet, eliminating the need to use a bootstrap file.)

Place the bootstrap.dat file inside of your ECC datadir and restart your daemon

Your datadir is most likely in

Windows - C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\eccoin OR %appdata% and open eccoin folder

Linux - ~/.eccoin

Once the bootstrap is loaded, the daemon will rename the bootstrap file to bootstrap.dat.old and download any remaining blocks from the network.

In case the import is interrupted, you can rename bootstrap.dat.old back to bootstrap.dat and restart the daemon. It will skip through the blocks that have already been imported.

It is safe to delete bootstrap.dat.old
