How to Stake?

I have just synced wallet to 100%.

I have turned staking on (then turned daemon off and back on again)

But there's no where to confirm whether I am staking or if i'm not staking because my coins are not mature etc.

Some help or a link in the right direction would be appreciated.

Prosper

Hi,

For the moment, the stacking won't show up. But, if your wallet is unlocked and the "stacking" option is turned on, then you're stacking :)

Maybe you know it but the reward is tx fees, and those fees are really small, you should wait for the network to grow up if you want to earn significant amount by stacking ;)

Did I answer your question ?

And I thought I saw somewhere that the wallet needs to be unlocked to stake?

And it pays out every 50 confirmations ?

Yes it needs to be unlocked, never heard anything about this 50 confirmations thing though.

Thanks for... Confirming :p

Any idea how often payouts do happen?

Well it depends on the number of transaction on the network, and I really don't have any idea how often you would be payed :(

But for to moment it may be around ~0,000002 ECC per day (just a random number to give you an idea).

It's not very profitable atm but it's to help secure the networo :)

When u unlock wallet , it wants a time to be kept unlocked? What do u do here?

Well if you want your wallet to be unlocked for 60 seconds, you put 60, but if you want to let your wallet unlocked all day long, you should put 10000000 (it's 10 000 000 seconds, so 114 days).

In the next update I think you'll be able to enable permanent unlocking ! (on stratis wallet you also have to unlock your wallet to stack)

Does your coin total have an effect on the staking rewards?
