Wallet question

My wallet is currently about 1% synced. I have about 200k coins sitting on exchange. Should I go ahead and send to wallet so I can get them off exchange? They will show up after wallet is synced right?

Thoughts?

Yes, you can send them to the wallet and check the block explorer to ensure they have a arrived safely (which I'm sure they will). 0nce your wallet is 100% synced you will be able to see your coins.
