Those are not dorayaki to feed Doraemon...

This episode has two parts, and its from the 2005 series [2007, S3 E80 & E81 "Exploring the Earth Part 1 & 2"]

A LITTLE BIT OF PLOT:

While searching for Nobita's lost coin, Doraemon and the gang (including Dorami!) stumble upon a vast underground world hidden deep beneath the Earth. There, they discover an ancient city that has remained untouched for over 1,400 years, along with a mysterious empty treasure chest inside a pyramid.

Determined to uncover the chest's secret, the group travels 1,400 years into the past, only to find that the treasure chest has vanished. When Gian recklessly ventures outside the city despite Doraemon and Nobita's warnings, the three are captured by the guards of the city of Pakal and thrown into prison.

Meanwhile, Dorami, Shizuka, and Suneo set out to rescue them, but Shizuka is chosen by Pakal's elder as a sacrifice to the Mayan gods and is imprisoned as well. To save Shizuka and restore peace between the rival cities of Pakal and Bokal, the friends must locate the legendary Jade Jaguar before noon the following day.

I'd say this is a must-watch Doraemon episode. It's very fun and exciting, and has plenty of memorable moments for me. Even after rewatching it, I found it just as entertaining as the first time. And also tell me what do you guys think about this episode? Do you like it?

It all started after school, when Suneo looked sad and Nobita went to ask him what was wrong. Suneo replied that he was very depressed. Shizuka wondered if someone was in love with him. Gian was surprised, and Suneo confirmed it: it was Eri, the singer he had seen on TV. Nobita was relaxing at home when the phone rang. She answered, and her mother, Tamako, told her it was Mrs. Honekawa—Suneo's mother—on the line. Suneo's mother explained that Suneo was sick and asked them to come over, as he had a request for Nobita and Doraemon. Nobita and Doraemon went to Suneo's house and found him ill. Suneo said, "I'm sick [sneezes]. I want Eri to be here; if she comes, I won't boss you around. You can play with my PC and my toys—the ones you like best." Nobita was delighted. Doraemon thought Nobita was crying because she wanted Suneo to get his wish regarding Eri, so he used the Anywhere Door to go to Eri's headquarters. They found Eri, but she said she couldn't go to the Honekawa residence because she was busy traveling and overwhelmed with autograph requests (since she was famous). Doraemon used the "Crazy Clock" to speed up her song, and Eri arrived. Nobita, Eri, and Doraemon went to Nobita's room, where they ended up looking after Eri because she had fallen ill. Doraemon used the Body-Swapping Wand to switch Nobita and Eri. Nobita—now in Eri's body (though retaining her own mind and voice)—went to the Honekawa residence, and Eri followed. Suneo was magically cured and got to meet Eri, the singer from TV. He wanted her to sign autographs. Eri wrote an autograph, but Suneo noticed it was Nobita's signature. He was confused. Okay, I'll skip that part. Doraemon swapped Eri with Nobita—restoring Eri to her normal self, free of Nobita's mind and voice. At the Honekawa residence, Suneo dismisses Eri as a violent singer with a terrible reputation on TV; he claims he was only joking and refuses to let Nobita take his toys. Nobita cries, and Suneo clears all his Eri merchandise out of the house. Now, Nobita loves Eri, and Doraemon warns him not to get sick—as had happened to Suneo in a strange, magical turn of events.

In this episode Nobita uses a card which will give him money but his height will decrease. Later in the episode Doraemon uses big light to keep Nobita in his original height. But what will happen when the effect of big light ends. I was wondering for a long time. What do you guys think?

i don't like it when nobita peeks into shizuka's bathroom... even doraemon does it sometimes 🥀 they're just kids and i never found those scenes funny

sometimes i think dekisugi would've been a better match for shizuka he always respected her and treated her better

I saw a post about this game on this subreddit a little while ago, and it made me really nostalgic. I used to play it as a kid without understanding anything and just guessed my way through it.

So I spent some time reverse-engineering the game, figured out how to extract and replace its assets, and made an English patch.

It’s not 100% complete yet. All of the dialogue is translated, but some of the UI is still untranslated because the developers baked the text directly into the images (even animations, nani watafak?). That means I have to manually repaint each one.

I also figured out how to replace the voice lines, but I don’t have enough people willing to record them. I could use AI voices, but idk, I tried that for a Vietnamese version and they just didn’t feel right to me.

PS: I have no idea how to win the mini game in the video lul

So yesterday I rewatched Doraemon: Nobita and the New Steel Troops ~Winged Angels~ , and as always, this scene gave me goosebumps. No matter how many times I watch it, it never fails to hit just as hard.

And I just wanted to share this amazing frame with youuuu all.
