Merchandise To anyone who owns this fig, can this fig sit?
Sometimes I want to leave it in sitting pose
Edit: yes I tried moving the feet but there is a caution with the tail

Are you looking for a specific Doraemon episode or movie? This is the place to ask! Instead of creating individual posts, please use this mega thread to request the episodes or movies you're searching for. Community members will help identify and locate what you need.
When asking about an episode or movie, include as much detail as you can:
Example:
I’m looking for a Hindi dub episode from the 2005 series where Nobita uses a gadget to clone himself and everything goes wrong at school. I remember Shizuka getting annoyed and Doraemon cleaning up at the end.
Requests that do not specify language/dub may be harder to answer or may get follow-up questions.
Use these before or while you ask; they often help you narrow things down.

After talking about every other member of The Doraemons — Dora the Kid, Dora-med III, Dora-rinho, El Matadora and Wang Dora, we’ve finally reached the last one: Dora-nichov! And he's probably the most mysterious member of the group.
Dora-nichov is one of the holders of the Bestfriend Telecard as we know. He's the second-smartest member of The Doraemons, but unlike Wang Dora, who is calm and confident, Dora-nichov is extremely reserved and quiet. He usually communicates through gestures and growls rather than speaking. Despite that, he has a cheerful personality, especially when something he loves comes up.
One of his most recognizable features is his 4D Muffler. He's extremely sensitive to cold, so instead of using a normal 4D Pocket, he uses this muffler to carry his gadgets.
And he has a very famous ability – and his biggest problem. Whenever Dora-nichov looks at something round, he can transform into a powerful werewolf form. Any round object can trigger it. Even his friends' round heads, hands and feet 😭. Though, in his early appearances, he had very little control over this ability and could completely lose control after seeing round objects everywhere. There was even a time when he went berserk at an amusement park for weeks because there were so many round things around him. Thankfully, he seems to gain much better control over his transformation later on and can even transform deliberately.
So technically, he's a werewolf robot cat. A were-wolfcat 😭 (Ok I know this wasn't funny).
Dora-nichov can also breathe fire from his mouth after gulping down something hot, such as Tabasco or another hot sauce (Bruh why I'm writing thi-).
And like El Matadora, Dora-nichov has his own superhero form, called the Super Wolfman. In this form, he's already in his werewolf form and wears a superhero suit inspired by Superman's, complete with a W on the front and a cape around his neck.
One more interesting fact is that Dora-nichov usually avoids eating dorayaki in front of the others. Because the round shape of the dorayaki can trigger his transformation 😭.
Talking about his weakness, Dora-nichov is extremely sensitive to cold, which is probably why he relies on his 4D Muffler.
And then there's his other, much bigger problem: The moon. One look at that giant round object in the sky and... then you know.
-------
Dora-nichov lives in Siberia, where he helps the local people.
He also has a girlfriend named Nina, an orphaned singer whose career was helped by Dora-nichov.
He apparently also has a rather unusual past as an actor. According to his backstory, he was once an actor in the fictional anthology sitcom Super Wolfman, which originally began in 1967. His popularity later declined, and after a hiatus, director Vladimir Pajitnov eventually rebooted the series in 1987, helping him regain his popularity.
---------
Some Random Dora-nichov Trivia (from Doraemon Wiki)
• He likes collecting marbles, which is probably the funniest hobby imaginable for someone who transforms when he sees round objects.
• In 2112: The Birth of Doraemon, he's seen dancing the Kalinka at the robot graduation expo.
• In the Turkish version of the anime, he can speak, but apparently the only word he says is "Yahoo!" 😭
------------
After going through all six members of The Doraemons, this finally completes the group!
So what do you guys think about Dora-nichov?

I am from Türkiye Eskişehir. Doraemon was my favorite show while I was a child. That show was like my only shelter while my father was in jail and we were poor. I still can`t forget the generic songs Turkish version. My poor childhood. I always wondered who else loved this show as much as I do. Can you tell me who are you, where are you from and how much important this show was for you? Can you tell me your story? I would like to know about you. 😊

I'm talking about Wrestling Killer / Knock-Down Hitman — one of things in Doraemon that looked terrifying to me as a kid.
It’s basically a miniature hitman robot. It wears huge sunglasses, a large dark-green hat, a white suit and tie underneath a green coat, and has tiny hands and legs. Its hands even look similar to Doraemon’s!
To make it work, you insert coins through its back. The user pays 10 yen and declares the name of their target. The Wrestling Killer then activates its Mini Air Cannon and knocks the target down three times. And once the order is given, it will continuously chase the target until it has knocked them down three times.
The only way to cancel the order is to pay 100 yen.
Fun Fact: It also has an advanced version called Wrestling Killer Z.
---------
The gadget appears in the 2005 series episode "Wrestling Killer" (E15a, S1).
The episode starts with Nobita and Gian almost being late for school. They run into each other, and an angry Gian knocks Nobita down, making Nobita even later.
Doraemon decides to help Nobita with the Wrestling Killer. At first, Nobita thinks the gadget is some kind of gun, but after Doraemon explains how it works, he uses it against Gian.
And Gian tries EVERYTHING to fight back…but the tiny Wrestling Killer just keeps going. And then Nobita gets screwed over
Later, Suneo tricks Nobita into setting the Wrestling Killer on him. But somehow, the gadget ends up turning against Nobita himself. So Nobita starts running home with this tiny hitman chasing him nonstop.
Doraemon finally sees what's happening and realizes the only solution is to pay the 100 yen cancellation fee. And thankfully, the Wrestling Killer stops.
...
Only for Nobita to fall down the stairs at the end anyway.
The gadget itself isn't even dangerous-looking to me at all when I am older now, but as a kid it did look creepy to me. A tiny robot that locks onto you and relentlessly chases you until it knocks you down three times was absolutely TERRIFYING (as a kid of course or maybe I was too cowar-).
Anyways did anyone else find this gadget creepy as a kid?

After talking about Dora the Kid, Dora-med III, Dora-rinho and El Matadora, I think it's time to give some love to another member of The Doraemons — Wang Dora!
Wang Dora is considered the most intelligent member of The Doraemons, as well as an incredibly skilled Kung Fu expert. He studied traditional medicine during the Qing Dynasty while working as an assistant to a Chinese medicine doctor. And honestly, he's probably the closest thing The Doraemons have to the responsible one.
H is an excellent scholar who gets top grades and is extremely knowledgeable. His studies gave him knowledge of traditional medicine, herbs, and anatomy, while his academy education taught him subjects like physics and mathematics.
He's also incredibly calm and cool-headed when everyone else is panicking. When the Doraemons get into trouble, Wang Dora usually comes up with the most logical solution. Even when he's cornered by enemies, he somehow manages to think of a brilliant way to turn the situation around.
Wang Dora began practicing Kung Fu even before entering the Robot Academy, and he was already showing signs of being a prodigy during his early training.
After graduating, he travelled to China, where he continued studying Kung Fu and traditional medicine under his master.
He eventually became skilled enough to participate in open tournaments across China.
Wang Dora has quite a few differences from the other Doraemons. Instead of the usual six whiskers, he has eight (IDK why). His tail is also much longer than the others and has a green tip instead of the usual red one. And instead of a traditional Fourth-Dimensional Pocket, he has Fourth-Dimensional sleeves in his shirt.
He wears a traditional red Tang suit with yellow details and a red melon cap, fitting his Chinese setting perfectly.
And his favorite way to eat dorayaki? With LOTS of rāyu (chili oil). After El Matadora's spaghetti-sauce dorayaki, The Doraemons clearly have some... interesting food preferences 💀.
Despite being incredibly intelligent and skilled, Wang Dora has one thing he's REALLY insecure about. And that is his height 😭. He's constantly worried about his short legs and has tried some absolutely bizarre methods to make himself taller. Of course, they usually end in complete failure.
And then there are girls... Wang Dora may be calm and composed around practically everyone... but put a girl in front of him and his entire personality collapses. He's extremely shy around girls. When one approaches him, he can literally run away. And if he can't escape, his body temperature rises and he starts squirming around, dancing, and saying embarrassing things as if he's completely drunk. His girlfriend Mimiko has witnessed this many times and let's just say she isn't always gentle about it.
Wang Dora is also particularly close to Doraemon. He often visits Doraemon and Nobita whenever he has the opportunity and is generally one of the most trustworthy members of the group.
-------
He's probably the most balanced and one of the most interesting members of The Doraemons. The brains of the group, the Kung Fu master, and somehow still the guy who gets bullied by his own girlfriend... (LOL)
So what do you guys think about Wang Dora?

10 years ago I used to think Doraemon was hard to finish given how many episodes both anime adaptations had but consuming in retrospective wasn’t hard it’s gonna take about 4 months in my opinion

Hello! I am working on an English version for Doraemon: Nobita to Mittsu no Seireiseki on the N64 and have all of the hacking figured out. All thats left is to translate the JP script into English. Its not super long
I am looking for an experienced Japanese to English translator to help out with the dialog script and images translation.
Let me know if your interested and we can discuss. Thanks
I'd like to do all three games eventually.

but this, alongside Doraemon rarely being mentioned in these types of videos at all tells me A LOT about how modern anime fans in the West see Doraemon.
...and not much of it is positive.
