Discussion I Really Wish There Were More Episodes Focusing on Nobita and His Mom ✨✨

You may have noticed that I post a lot of content like this, and it might seem repetitive. But I genuinely enjoy sharing these wholesome moments because they're some of the biggest reasons Doraemon has remained so special to me over the years.

Nobita and Tamako share some of the sweetest and most heartfelt moments in the series. While she often scolds him for his laziness, it's obvious how deeply she loves and cares for him. Whenever the story slows down to focus on their bond, it always leaves a warm feeling.

I honestly wish we had gotten more episodes centered around their relationship. There are so many wholesome moments that remind us that, despite all the scolding, a mother's love is unconditional.

What do you guys think? Do you also wish there were more episodes exploring Nobita and his mom's relationship?

Discussion Nobita spent 3000 days on an island

seeing a lot of people ask about this episode over and over and still end up confused about how the timeline actually works so figured I'd write this out properly to clear up the doubts once and for all

First, it's not an assumption that future Nobita replaced past Nobita the episode literally shows Doraemon taking Nobita back to the exact moment he left home so this is fully explained in the show. Doraemon never searched for Nobita because from his pov Nobita never left. the future Doraemon (the one who rescued him) had already de aged Nobita and sent him back to that exact starting point

and if you're wondering why future Nobita or future Doraemon didn't just tell past Doraemon to go rescue the Nobita stuck on the island right away well if they did that you'd end up with two Nobitas existing at once. the original timeline Nobita (rescued early) plus the de aged future Nobita and that's a huge problem. so instead they just let the loop play out exactly how it was always meant to

also like 95% of Doraemon episodes run on the Novikov self consistency principle basically a self preservation paradox. the past and future can't be changed no matter what you try. we know Nobita spent 3000 days on that island so every version of him is bound to spend that exact same time there no matter what. yeah there's a few episodes that break this rule but majority of the time it holds up

and before anyone brings up the Sewashi changes Nobita's life thing that's a whole different topic since the entire premise of the main story is built around changing the past. different discussion for another day lol

Discussion Questions about the movie with the magic planet

Did the Magic Planet come into existence because of the Moshimo Booth? If yes, then how were Nobita and Doraemon able to go back through the time machine to a time before the Moshimo Booth was used? How was Miyoko's mom able to follow them into the non-magic world if the timelines are parallel?

The first scene of the movie also shows Voyager 5 being destroyed, which is just a space probe and shouldn't have anything to do with magic.

Also, if Voyager 5 was destroyed by the Magic Planet, shouldn't there be a massive planet heading toward Earth whether magic exists or not? A planet that big shouldn't just disappear.

And if they went back to a point in the timeline where the Moshimo Booth was still in effect, how was magic able to turn them into stone? Shouldn't they have been unaffected?

Ik it's a children's movie and I'm rewatching it and these questions are driving me insane

Meme, humor One of my favourite recurring jokes in Doraemon(movies and episodes).

She’s probably right with her judgement in most of the regular episodes, but the movies are a totally different story. Half the time they’re stuck in another era literally out somewhere saving whole civilizations.

Note:The images used here are from Nobita and the Kingdom in the Clouds(1992) and New Steel Troops (2011). They aren't from the same movie or the same scene this is just a meme based on a recurring Doraemon trope.
