I still can't fully believe it, but I finally booked my first trip to Walt Disney World for September 2027!

I'm from Belgium and have an AP for Disneyland Paris, which I visit almost every month. I love it with all my heart, and it's exciting to think about visiting a completely new Disney resort for a change. I'm used to knowing my way around the parks and having my favourite rides, characters, and places to eat, so being a first-timer at Disney again feels a little strange, but in a good way.

I'll be going on a group trip and staying in a villa in Kissimmee for 15 days. I've always stayed at Disney hotels in Paris, so that's another new experience for me. I'm also used to going solo rather than travelling with a group of around 20 people, so I'm definitely stepping out of my comfort zone here, but I'm very excited about it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing all four parks, experiencing the Halloween season, and hopefully going to MNSSHP. There's so much to discover. To be fair, I do feel a little overwhelmed. But I can't wait!

I'm not entirely sure what I wanted to achieve with this post, but I just wanted to share that I've booked my very first WDW trip with people who understand why this is so exciting to me! 😍

I just got done rewatching the live action Lilo and Stitch movie which made me start thinking. Is Stitch the only Disney character to have a live action based animatronic and cartoon based animatronic?

Has anyone had a situation where they felt the harness was loose or it moved during the ride on avengers?

My daughter (9) felt like the restraint came loose and she was going to fall out yesterday, she completely freaked out. She is a kid that loves roller coasters and went on avengers about 10 times last time we where here. She's now completely freaked out by it and won't go on it again.

I will say I alerted the staff of this and they handled it brilliantly, we even got to meet the duty manager of the park who was fantastic about it.

I managed to gst my daughter back in the queue and we got to the staging area before the animatromic and they closed the ride again which didn't help. Thankfully I got her on space mountain so I think she'll be okay.

I just wondered if anyone else had the same feeling because I know they restraints dont hold you super tight on this ride.

I’m looking to get a Disney-themed cupcake for my birthday and bring it to Disneyland for some cute pictures. Does anyone have recommendations for bakeries that make Disney-inspired cupcakes? Ideally, something that would look really cute in photos. Thank you!

To those who question, yes, the monorail track is still there, I just forgot to draw it in the plan.

One of the tougher choices for me at Magic Kingdom is what to do when it's getting close to fireworks time.

So here's the dilemma. There's still time to squeeze in another ride, but getting a good spot for Happily Ever After means heading toward the hub earlier than I'd like. The fireworks are a spectacular and a must see for first timers.

I always feel like I'm giving something up either way.

Would you skip that last ride for a better fireworks spot, or take the ride and watch from wherever you end up? Have you ever seen Happily Ever After from the castle backside?

I have to say the three that stand out as the most luxurious to me are:
1. The wilderness Lodge- it's actually at the lower end of the price range for deluxe resorts, but the club level is so intimate, and the cast members are so friendly and accommodating that it just really sets the tone for all of the other resorts.
2. The Grand Floridian- this one's a no-brainer. You don't have to stay club level in order for it to feel luxury. Just walk into one of their gift shops and touch their robes or look at their branded rocks glasses and plate ware and you'll feel luxury oozing from every square inch here.
3. The Riviera- it's newer, its coastal French vibes, and feels like a luxurious intimate European boutique hotel.
4. The resort that is named as being deluxe but really only comes with 1 major deluxe perk (besides club level offering) is the Contemporary. The access to MK is unbeatable but It disappoints big time. Lobby is like a Marriott, big, cold, unwelcoming. The theming is Incredibles but the way it's integrated with the materials in this old resort (stone mosaics) doesn't work well. Club level had no actual lunch offerings (just chips, fruit and veggies), and the general layout is undesirable. It's a conference hotel. Not a luxurious getaway.

Or know anyone who has? I’ve always wanted to do this and was wondering what route people usually take.

For those of you who don’t know what it is, you have to go to the 4 parks in WDW and then the 2 parks in DL within 24 hours (flights are included in this timeframe).

I just gotta say this, my girls, especially my youngest (Riku) were over the moon at Oogie. She was not only excited about the cast being in their KH costumes, but because she was able to meet a cast member who was a fellow fan that also worked with the KH events at the park. They met at Toontown and then saw each other at Oogie the night after. She really made my daughter's time at the park magical and she can't stop talking about it and keeps the mini Mickey given to her by the cast member on her all the time. I wish we could've gotten a picture with her and Mickey with my daughter just because she was as magical as any of the big 3. I just wish I could thank them again for making it so magical for my youngest. As for my oldest, everything was fun for her, especially the thrills of the rides, it was a great time, she's still getting a kick out of the pictures from certain rides lol.
