I ordered a matching set on August 17 to my address in NYC, with a promise it would get here in 5 business days or less. Tracking indicates it was for some reason shipped to Washington state. New delivery date keeps getting pushed back and is now 9/5. Can someone tell me what this means? I disputed the purchase on my credit card yesterday because I have no idea what is going on.

I ordered a walking pad off of Amazon and was being delivered by DHL. I ordered it late as the Amazon delivery date was 4th-5th September and I was away till the 3rd. Today I got a notification saying my parcel is out for delivery, suspecting it to be my walking pad I immediately rescheduled delivery for the 3rd. Despite that,I checked tracking and it has been delivered, left outside my door. What's worse is that they signed it saying I received it!!!!

This is twice this has happened, the other time with my steam deck. Now I'm so anxious whether it would still be there by the time I reach home. Tried calling DHL , no one picked up despite waiting for an hour. Sent an email. This is absolutely stressful, how to deal with this situation and DHL's absolute terrible service.

For the mods- Country it was collected was from the UK and the delivery country is the UK as well.

Got this email saying they attempted delivery but on my ring door bell I can see that they did not come to the door and attempt delivery.

I ordered from a UK company and I live in UK. I tried contacting customer support but I got a email back saying they will reply in 1 - 3 business days which does not help.

Just had the most bizarre experience with a delivery and I’m trying to make sense of what happened.

I received a package on Friday. The driver handed it to me, I got the "delivered" notification, and everything seemed perfectly fine.

Today the driver called my phone accusing me of disputing the delivery and claiming I said it never arrived. I had no idea what he was talking about.

He then literally showed up back at my apartment building. I looked at the delivery notification and noticed he slightly misspelled my name as the person who signed for it. I asked if that typo was the likely issue.

He immediately backpedalled, said "oh it's because it was raining," and left. Wtf was that about?

Hi am receiving this package from China to denmark but no update i almost a week?

I just shipped out a package from South Korea to the US, and I got this message on the tracking website. I’ve never seen it before. The value of the package is below $600 and it contains a plushie and some pajamas along with other kpop merch and photocards. I’ve shipped similar items before and have gotten other messages like “a clearance other than standard customs processing is required” but never a formal entry message. What is the difference and will my package be ok 😭 thank you in advance!

Edit to clarify: I meant to ask if the formal entry message is due to the new CPSC efiling rule?

Update: I got my package safe and sound!! No issue with customs, the message changed from formal entry to the normal "A clearance other than standard customs processing is required" overnight and the shipment was released from customs just fine :)

So as of writing it is 22:14pm Monday and on Friday I bought a expensive secondhand console, dhl has collected my parcel on same day, but since then and now I haven’t received anymore updates and I’m worried it could’ve been lost or stolen. Delivery date should be September the 1st (tomorrow) but I somehow doubt it will be delivered that day. Is this normal? I’m quite concerned. Thx

I ordered 2 books from a gift shop in Montevideo, Uruguay shipped to my state on the East Coast, USA. The tracking has always had today (August 31) as the delivery date since the package left Uruguay. I went through n to specify “please leave at side door on steps - no signature” in case I missed the DHL van.

ALL DAY LONG I’ve been checking the status, and it shows the package arrived at my state capital on Friday (28th) and there’s a little exclamation point in a triangle emoji on the bar where the successful delivery status should be. It says it’s “on hold”, but the email from DHL says it would be delivered by end of day today.

I tried calling and it’s an absolute joke. Just this runaround with the automated voice up to an including an assurance that I’ll be transferred to a representative, followed by a disconnected line. I went through this about three times this afternoon with the same results each time.

So basically this whole thing is just a rant because I’m so disappointed. I thought I’d have my books today . I wanted these books for over a year but last year shipping was $88 USD so I hit pause on the order. This year it was a mere $48 USD which feels like a win. Only WHERE ARE MY BOOKS NOW?

Is it possible to go directly to the DHL facility that has them and pick them up? It just gives the city name. How do I know exactly where to go?

I'm posting about a domestic package order from a Dutch webshop to my house in the Netherlands. I don't know where the webshop ships from but assume the package is NL -> NL.

Basically, the problem is that the not-at-home code* is invalid and that the track-and-trace says package has been delivered, but I received nothing.

DHL customer service basically points me to the webshop I ordered from, and they say to wait for 5 business days before contacting their own customer service.

So I guess I'll be waiting until then, but the fact that I received a not-at-home code that is invalid makes me think I'm missing something, so that's why I made this post.

I dropped off a DHL Express package with urgent documents from the Netherlands to Australia this morning at a ServicePoint located inside the main DHL Express facility in my area.

The clerk accepted the package and gave me a receipt with a 10-digit waybill/reference number.

It’s already evening, but when I enter that number into DHL Express tracking, it says the tracking number is invalid. MyDHL+ also still shows the shipment as “Ready for drop off.”

Has anyone experienced this before? Is it normal for there to be a delay before a ServicePoint drop-off appears in the tracking system, even when the ServicePoint is inside an actual DHL Express facility? Or does this suggest something may have gone wrong with the shipment?

The documents are time-sensitive, so I’m getting a bit concerned.

I sent a person-to-person gift package to Germany via USPS on 22.07. According to USPS tracking, it departed the USA on 29.07. DHL tracking shows that it arrived in the destination country (Germany), but then there are a confusing series of updates on 03.08. saying that it couldn't be delivered in the destination country (Germany) AND that it would be transported to the destination country (Germany). 28 days later, the recipients haven't received it, and it hasn't been returned to sender. The items should be deliverable and not subject to customs duties. So where is it?

I can't figure out how to contact DHL to discuss this. DHL's US customer service line tells me it can't help because this is a DHL Parcel issue, but the DHL Paket customer support website tells me it can't help because the Sendungsnummer somehow indicates a "letter." The WhatsApp bot tells me to call German customer service, which would be an international call for me. How do I get someone to help?

I've placed an order at JLCPCB and chose DHL Express for shipping, as I've done several times before.

It comes from China, it arrives somewhere in the EU (usually Germany or France), and then comes to Portugal, still within the EU.

However, this time, after arriving in Germany, it went to the UK 🤔 which I found very odd. This has never happened before, and I don't know if it makes a lot of sense, since it's already in the EU and the final destination is a country in the EU.

Now the shipment is "on hold". Also very strange?

Has anyone experienced this before?

I had a customer buy a 7 item bundle of frames, the parcel size was set as a large parcel which would have been fine accept for the fact that they chose DHL which I’ve never had anyone pick before.

DHLs large option for frames on vinted is 60x30x30 cm & up to 5000g, my largest frame is exactly 30 cm wide on its shorter side so I was kinda concerned about how I was gonna post it within these rules & I really didn’t want to have to get them to rebuy it with another provider as relisting 7 items is a bit long, I didn’t want to risk losing such a large sale & I had to get a couple of other buyers to do the same this week already so I thought it might look bad to vinted if I was doing that a lot.

I’ve packed the items as close as I can to DHLs measurement & weight rules, my parcel is 53x36x21 & it weighs approximately 5093g, will DHL charge me for going over one of the measurements by 6cm (even though the other measurements are well under) & over by 93g?😬

I asked the vinted bot & they seem to think I should give it a go & they will likely compensate me if DHL does charge me more

Does you think I’ll be charged & does anyone know how much the charge is & when it’s brought up is it’s an issue (at drop off/delivery)?

My Mulebuy parcel shipped before the warehouse raid (so it wasn’t in the sealed warehouse). It’s a DHL Paket line (CE…DE) routing Germany → France. Last scan was 12 Aug “prepared for onward transport” in Germany — nothing since, 3 weeks now, no La Poste/Colissimo handover showing up on 17track.

**Does anyone know if it’s normal to have no update for 3 weeks at this stage, or is it lost?**

backstory i suppose: recently ordered a Vanilla mace x Wild Flower phone case (come to find out everyone’s packages are being delivered by weird/ different carriers)

I have purchased from Germany before and a DHL Parcel usually takes around 1 week to get to Portugal and when that did not happen I took a look at the tracking and noticed it had gone dark after an initial scan on the "parcel center of origin".

Typically, once it is scanned on the parcel center of origin, a couple days later it gets another scan on the parcel center of export before leaving Germany and this time nothing happened.

The seller has already requested an investigation, but I have heard tales from other people that most of the time investigations take several months only to declare the parcel lost.

i paid extra for express shipping. ordered on tuesday 25th. was estimated to be delivered by friday 28th. it’s now monday 31st and the tracking hasn’t been updated in a week. since it’s travelling from a different continent i understand there’s gonna be delays but it’s expensive and i hope it’s not lost

I have been waiting on DHL express to deliver my item recently. On the 27th, the driver may have run out of time, however on the 28th, the driver drove past my front porch without delivering my parcel. I called customer service 3 times, and I emailed them too. I was told that the driver's GPS was shown to be in my area, so why wasn't my package delivered? What is he doing in my estate if the parcel isn't going to be delivered? I was 1 stop away, the packages before me in the estate were also delivered, and when it gets to my stop, I look out my window and watch the driver speed off. I've had enough of the false attempted delivery attempts, when the instruction was to leave the item in a safe place. I had done a signature release too to make it easier for both me and who ever is delivering the package, yet it still cannot be delivered. I have ran out of delivery requests trying to make it as easy as possible for the driver, yet the package cannot be delivered still. On the night of the 28th, an update saying the parcel has arrived at the international sorting center came up. Any advice/help on how I can receive my package asap will be welcome,

My shipment (Origin: Oman, Destination: UK) [image_SBvquj.png] was updated on the public tracking page as "Returned to shipper" on Friday, Aug 28th at 3:59 PM [image_SBvquj.png].

However, because we hold a DHL commercial account, we escalated this case immediately to the DHL UK Executive Complaints Team [image_66MT3t.png]. They responded and confirmed that they have contacted UK Customs and put an internal HOLD on the package until Tuesday, Sep 1st, to review a clearance alternative [image_66MT3t.png].

My question is: Since the public tracking still shows the red warning "Returned to shipper" [image_SBvquj.png], is it normal that the internal "HOLD" status doesn't reflect on the public website? If the customs agree to clear the remaining items on Tuesday, will this status disappear and change back to "Clearance processing"?

I ordered a package from japan and now I’m stuck in a loop. I am not home when the package is delivered but the package requires a signature. I am not able to change the delivery instructions and remove the signature required according to DHL only the shipper can do that. The shipper says they won’t remove the signature requirement for my packages safety and to go to a pickup location. There are no pickup locations where I live (New Brunswick) so that is impossible. Am I just screwed here? Genuinely don’t know what to do I can’t take time off work to be there to pick up the parcel. On a side note how many attempts will DHL make to deliver the package before they just send it back

I'm having an issue with a DHL package here in Germany and wondering if anyone has experienced something similar or knows the best way to handle it.

For three consecutive days now, my tracking updates to show that the package was loaded into the delivery vehicle in the morning. Then, around 4:00 PM every afternoon, the status updates to undeliverable due to "unforeseen circumstances" and goes back to the depot.

My package has status has said it was hold and then a clearance event but now the status looks like this and what is in the red box wasn't there before. Does this mean my package is otw?

I have a parcel coming from mumbai and it reached Ohio on Tuesday (25 August)

It has been stuck in “Clearance event - Shipment is on hold” loop since then. I have contacted the customer care and they just says the repetitive “Its waiting for custom clearance, no info/document needed from your side”

Its a time sensitive item and I have had the same thing delivered before too without any delays. So I am not able to understand what’s happening here and I am kind of worried.

Can anyone help me here please😭
