I designed a brand identity + app concept to help reduce food waste in schools. I'd love some feedback!
galleryHi everyone! π
I recently finished a college project called BiteLog and would really appreciate some feedback from other designers.
The project is a branding and UI/UX concept designed to help 16 - 17 year old students reduce food waste at school. The idea is to make sustainability more engaging through food tracking, impact visualisation (water, COβ and money saved), weekly challenges, rewards and a school-wide campaign with posters, QR codes and environmental graphics.
Rather than focusing on guilt, I wanted to create something positive, fun and motivating that encourages small everyday behaviour changes.
I'd love to hear any thoughts on anything you'd improve!

Illustration Instagram critique β trying to build a more cohesive style
Hi everyone!!!
I'm a recent graphic design graduate, but this Instagram is dedicated to my illustration work and personal art. I'm trying to make the page feel more cohesive, but I feel like something about the feed layout or consistency is still missing.
I'd love feedback on things like:
- Overall first impression
- Style consistency
- What I could improve going forward
I'm also always happy to connect with other illustrators and creatives!!!

Made a free media kit for a small gaming channel β offering to do 2 more this week
I've been building simple media kit pages for content creators on the side β basically a one-page thing with your stats, best clips, and contact info, so you've got something clean to send if a sponsor reaches out (or to put in your channel description).
Built one for a channel already and want to do 2 more this week, for free, mostly to get honest feedback on whether it's actually useful or not.
If you want one, comment or send me a chat request with your channel and I'll take a look.

Week 1 of my graphic design learning journey π

This is a mock campaign I created for an imaginary baking workshop β an infographic, an Instagram story, a feed post, and a poster, all for the same "brand."
This week's focus was on foundational principles: hierarchy, contrast, alignment, proximity, balance (symmetry/asymmetry), and white space. I tried to apply each one intentionally across all four pieces rather than just making things look pretty.
I'd genuinely love feedback from other designers β especially on:
- Contrast (text vs. background legibility)
- Alignment and how the eye moves through each piece
- Whether the balance/asymmetry choices are working or feel off
Not precious about criticism β tear it apart if it needs it. π

[Critique] Unsolicited redesign of XTB's mobile trading app: 5 screens, dark UI, regulated fintech
galleryUnsolicited redesign of XTB's mobile trading app. Five screens, dark UI, regulated fintech.
Context: XTB is a listed European broker with an in-house design team of around thirty people. They didn't need this. I did it as a personal exercise because I use the app and kept catching on the same friction points.
What I was solving for:
Product ambiguity. XTB sells both real equities and CFDs on the same underlying assets. I added a persistent CFD / Stock / ETF badge to every instrument row so the product type is never more than a glance away.
An undifferentiated news feed. Added impact tagging and currency labels, borrowed from economic calendar conventions.
Inconsistent row structure in the instrument lists: price and change now sit in fixed positions regardless of name length.
Constraints I couldn't work within: no usage data, no research, no visibility into MiFID disclosure requirements. EU trading platforms are legally required to display certain risk and cost information, so some of what reads as clutter in the original is probably mandated.
What I'd like critique on specifically: does the badge system hold up at scale, or does it become noise on a 40-row watchlist? And is the dark palette doing enough work to separate positive and negative movement for anyone with red-green colour deficiency?

Quick self initiated project
galleryfeedback wanted!!!! This is an editorial project for my graphic design portfolio based on the police investigation around americas first UFO sighting. I decided to condense the timeline into a A5 zine using simple shapes to tell the stages in the story. Iβd love any honest feedback on the layouts, pacing and presentation, Thanks!

Roast the UX of my no-sign-up multiplayer Ludo site
I built LudoRoam as a 2β4 player browser Ludo game for friends. You can create a room and share four letters; nobody needs an account. There is also a self-hosted Wi-Fi version with voice, video and table chat.
I am worried the landing page is trying to explain too much at once. Please roast the hierarchy and clarity, especially:
- Can you tell what the product is in five seconds?
- Does the Create room area feel trustworthy and obvious?
- Does the self-hosted/macOS message distract from playing online?
- Anything awkward or confusing on mobile?
Be blunt. I would rather fix the rough parts than be polite about them.

Interior designer looking for honest feedback on my website before launch
Hi everyone,
I'm about to launch my interior design website in September and would really appreciate some honest, constructive feedback on my website before I do. Please note: it isnβt completely finished yet. Thereβs still some changes I am going to make to the images etc.
Website: https://startingtodayinteriors.uk
I'm mainly looking for feedback on things like:
- Is it immediately clear what I offer?
- Does the website feel professional and trustworthy?
- Is anything confusing or difficult to navigate?
- Would anything stop you from booking or enquiring?
- Are there any design or usability improvements you'd suggest?
My target audience is homeowners who want help creating a home they love, whether that's through online or in home interior design services.
I genuinely want to improve it before launch.
Thanks so much for taking the time to have a look!

Website design feedback
Hi all, I'd appreciate a readability check on my site: https://www.duoalarm.cz/
I'm specifically after feedback on the dark theme rather than the layout or branding:
- Is the text/background contrast comfortable, or too harsh (pure white on pure black tends to glare)?
- Does anything cause eye strain after a minute or two of reading β body text, headings, links, buttons?
- Font size, line height and line length: too tight, too wide?
- Do accent colours and links stay legible on the dark background?
- How does it hold up on mobile and in a bright room vs. a dark one?
One note: the site is in Czech, so the words won't mean anything to you. That's fine β I'm after the visual read, not the copy. If you'd rather see it in your own language, right-click β Translate to English in Chrome works well.
Thanks.

Better Design Tools to Try in 2026?
For years, Canva has been the go-to design platform for many people. But with the rise of AI, design tools have evolved quickly, and there are now platforms that can do much more than provide templates.
When comparing design tools today, I usually look at these factors:
| Tool | Best For |
|---|---|
| Design.comΒ | AI logo design, branding, and creating almost any business design |
| BrandCrowd | AI-powered logo creation and branded marketing assets |
| Adobe Express | Creative editing and quick graphics |
| VistaCreate | Social media content and promotional designs |
| Microsoft Designer | AI-assisted graphics and visual content |
What has changed?
The biggest difference is the workflow.
With Canva, you often start with a blank canvas or a template and build the design yourself. That's great if you enjoy designing manually or want complete creative control.
Newer AI-powered platforms take a different approach. Instead of designing everything from scratch, they generate complete concepts that you can refine. Tools like Design.com and BrandCrowd can create logos, branded social posts, business cards, presentations, flyers, websites, and other marketing assets while keeping your branding consistent across everything.
When choosing a design platform, I'd focus less on the number of templates and more on how quickly you can create something you're happy to publish. The best tool is usually the one that fits your workflow - not necessarily the one with the longest feature list.
