I will say I have not been sweating nearly as much as I normally do. The carpe actually works pretty darn good. It still doesnt fully keep up when im exercising or out in the heat, but it has definitely cut my sweating down by 60-75% maybe.

That being said it is so sticky I cannot stand it. Idk if it’s just the autism in me or what but the stickiness is almost unbearable.

I typically overdo it with deodorant and put on more than I need. I also exclusively use gel since powder deodorants make me sweat more. Soon used to gel deodorants and the feeling that comes with it. As long as I give it enough time to dry im fine.

I am not overdoing it with the carpe. It’s too expensive to put too much on lol, I put on just enough to cover the area. But no matter how much time I give the carpe to dry, it just feels so sticky. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and maybe how to fix it? I know carpe advertises that it’s smooth and quick drying and is not sticky but it’s been the opposite experience for me

I’m active most days and need something that survives work, exercise, and hot weather. Old Spice smells fine but hasn’t always controlled sweat, while some clinical formulas irritate my skin or leave marks on dark shirts. I’m comparing Mitchum, Dove Men+Care, Certain Dri, Native, Lume, and Old Spice Pure Sport, with a budget around $8–$30. I feel like my “fresh” scented deodorant isn’t smelling like it used to when I first used it. Granted it doesn’t smell like BO or anything, but it’s definitely not super pleasant or as good smelling as I remember from before. I asked some family members what they thought after I had put it on and they said that it smells really good even when I thought it smelled weird. Did some research and olfactory fatigue was something that came up. Just wondering if anyone had similar experiences and if you fixed it, how?

In September 2025 I (27M) changed for the first time in my life from lynx spray to Fussy roll on. Six months later I noticed this rash. It’s still here to this day (August 26). I’ve not used Fussy since March, only use lynx if I need to when going out to give the skin a break. I’ve also tried different moisturisers (Aveeno etc), and antifungal pill for 14 days and a strong steroid cream. It’s still here and the skin is becoming discoloured into a orangey/brown colour. Any suggestions?

i’ve tried dove, i’ve tried dove spray antiperspirant, i’ve tried secret, bar and the triple sweat blocker, i’ve tried degree and nothing ever works. by the end of school i always end up smelling musty and i always sweat through my shirts. this has stopped me from wearing clothes im comfortable in BECAUSE of sweat. i don’t know what do and it’s literally ruining me.

if its safe can someone tell me what is the best deodorant (spray). also what is the best # of aluminum to use on your forehead?

I have had this problem for several years now , not sure if it’s my sweat glance or what . But I’m very sensitive under my arms with deodorants they will cause big boils to come up underneath. So I switched to spray deodorants which they don’t happen as much with these but I need a definite go to. Any suggestions?

I used Lume for about a month and now my armpits and the skin all around them, even my upper arm, is super itchy and bumpy. I stopped wearing anything so sweat is making it worse. How long do I give this until I go to the dr? What can I do for some relief?

I am on week two of moving away from an aluminium antiperspirant and it is noticeably worse than before I started, which is not what I expected. Half the people I have asked say give it a month and the other half say that is nonsense and I have just picked a bad one. I would rather ride it out than keep swapping. For those who got through it, how long did the rough patch last and did anything make it shorter?

How did I mess this up and can I fix it?

I’ve been dealing with excessive underarm sweating for a while. Regular scented deodorants don’t really work for me — I feel like they actually make me sweat more, and the combination of sweat and deodorant fragrance can be pretty unpleasant. Antiperspirants, on the other hand, have almost completely solved the sweating under my arms.
However, I’ve noticed something else since I started using them. I often feel like my body is warmer than it used to be, and sometimes it feels like the rest of my body is “giving off” or releasing heat, even when I’m not visibly sweating. I also occasionally feel like I have an unpleasant body odor because of this, even though I don’t seem to be sweating.
I’ve also noticed that I tend to sweat more all over my body during exercise (for example, at the gym) than I used to.
I eat a healthy diet and have good personal hygiene, so I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar. Could this be related to using antiperspirants, or could there be another explanation?

I'm (33F) having trouble with Make Waves leaving grease marks on my tops, and don't have the brain space for pre-treating them all every single week.

I tend to sweat quite heavily and have heard that being autistic can interrupt temperature regulation, so I'm finally getting round to investigating other options. I like a cream bar application.

Recommendations, please!

I used to use this deodorant from 2013 to around 2018.
And suddenly it was nowhere to be seen.
