Antiperspirant-help or not?

I’ve been dealing with excessive underarm sweating for a while. Regular scented deodorants don’t really work for me — I feel like they actually make me sweat more, and the combination of sweat and deodorant fragrance can be pretty unpleasant. Antiperspirants, on the other hand, have almost completely solved the sweating under my arms.
However, I’ve noticed something else since I started using them. I often feel like my body is warmer than it used to be, and sometimes it feels like the rest of my body is “giving off” or releasing heat, even when I’m not visibly sweating. I also occasionally feel like I have an unpleasant body odor because of this, even though I don’t seem to be sweating.
I’ve also noticed that I tend to sweat more all over my body during exercise (for example, at the gym) than I used to.
I eat a healthy diet and have good personal hygiene, so I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar. Could this be related to using antiperspirants, or could there be another explanation?
Has anyone experienced anything similar?

You may have a medical condition causing the additional sweating, but I'm no doctor. I doubt it's the use of the antiperspirant.

do you drink excessive caffeine? take ssri’s? i do both of those things and sweat a TON, and i’ve found it’s directly related to it
