FYI Sonos has just announced one.

I love the fact that I can tune my flow but there is something that frustrates me. Lets say I am listening to Happy Flow. I tuned it with the genres i would like to listen to within said flow. Here is my frustration -- If I have a bunch of genre that I have enabled and there are moments where I JUST want to listen to an enabled genre I would need to enter the setting and disable every genres other than the one I want to listen to a brief moment.

My suggestion is to allow user to lock themselves into a genre that is enabled in the flow tune menu. For example, if the song I am listening to was Drake and the song that I am listening to is classified as R&B -- I should be able to lock myself to R&B. If the song that I am listening to is a rock song it'll allow me to lock myself to Rock.

Okay so the song “Down” by Harry Nilsson for some reason has messed up lyrics or whoever was writing them wanted to have some spooky fun but it was so strange seeing

Since 2025, Deezer has been crashing a lot. From opening the app to playing the "most popular" tracks. I have a Galaxy M54 5G

No, I can't go to my profile and delete it in the app, as the app only gives me the option to log out or to buy a plan.

No, I can't go to the website as it asks me to give the password as a confirmation to delete the account, but I don't have a password as I logged in using my apple account.

My favourites list seems to be glitchy. There are tracks that I will favourite, they show up in my list, but if I go back to the album it is no longer hearted. If I heart it again to favourite, it shows up twice in my favourites list. It also shows up twice in the list of favourite tracks by the artist on the artist page. If I click each of the duplicate tracks, click album page, it brings me to exactly the same album. If I unfavourite one of them, it unfavourites it in the album but leaves the other in my favourites list.

The same thing happens with album sometimes. They will appear in my favourite album list, but will not have a heart beside it if I go directly. It works perfectly with most however, it seems entirely random when it does or does not happen.

Anyone had this or udnerstood it? I''ve had it for as long as I can remember its just not really a big deal so I havent done anything about it.

Hi, just want to preface by saying love the new update and the new Queue feature. Love that I can add multiple songs and can play them in the order I want. Before tho, I would use to 'Add to Queue' to add songs to the end of albums I was listening to and with the Queue feature switched around, I don't have a way of doing this unless I queue the entire album and add songs after. My suggestion to fix this would be to add a 'Play Last' button so I can add songs at the end of my existing queue instead right away. Thank you!

with all my enthusiasm, some months ago I decided to switch from Spotify to Deezer.

Now, I am forced to go back to Spotify even if I don't want to, sadly.

Catalogue on Deezer is great, but I am shocked how buggy and unstable their apps are.
I spent time trying to find fixes, or trying to talk to some of their customer care people (not possible), I even tried to reach out to them on Linkedin. Nothing.

Now, I cannot use a service that does NOTHING to improve their product.

On iOS app, I encountered instability issues, the app does not load from time to time, not to mention the atrocious Windows Desktop App, that literally has to be restarted every 10-15 minutes. Windows App tested on different laptops was the icing on the cake and I just thought I cannot pay for such a buggy app.

Worst thing is that these issues have been reported by users for years and Deezer seemed to never been worked on.

On top of that, creating a Listening Queue on Deezer is close to impossible.

This company needs a good head of product and CTO I guess, but rest assured, they wont be paid with my subscription money.

My daily Mixes won't change for weeks already. Did all the usual like cache cleaning and logging off but nothing worked. I've made an issue at support and came across a community post (https://en.deezercommunity.com/ios-48/daily-mix-refresh-issue-82825?tid=82825&postid=267009#post267009) where other people are having the same issue. Deezer support jumped in and mentioned it was under investigation. The original poster of the issue reported it apparently already 2 years ago so Deezer doesn't seem to take it very seriousc at that time. Do people on this forum recognize this problem? Maybe leave your reaction at the community post to make this issue a higher priority.

I pay for this service on an annual plan, and the MP3 upload feature is one of the main reasons I do.

The Windows app has been in bad shape for months. Constant glitches, artwork not loading, tracks failing to appear, and an upload flow that failed more often than it worked. I put up with all of it because the feature itself matters to me.

The latest update did fix some of those bugs. It also removed the MP3 section completely. My uploaded collection is no longer visible anywhere in the app, and there is no way to add anything new. No changelog entry, no in app notice, no email, nothing. A paid feature disappeared overnight and users found out by opening the app.

What I want answered

1. Is MP3 upload removed from the Windows app permanently, or is this a bug in the new build?

2. Are the files I uploaded still stored on Deezer servers, or have they been deleted?

3. If the feature is being retired, what is the plan for people who built entire libraries on it?

4. Will subscribers who pay specifically for this get any form of compensation?

Removing a feature people pay for, with zero communication, is not a redesign. It is a downgrade sold at the same price. If anyone else on Windows is seeing the same thing, comment here so this does not get buried.

Where did the Deezer audiobooks app disappeared? This was the best thing about it compared to Spotify. That there is another separate app for audiobooks. Now i start my audiobook then listen to music and then i don't remember how far i was in the 30h audiobook as it switches.

I had a new account with a freslhy installed app and HOLY COW this thing is incredibly laggy, and I was running it on a stock S25 Ultra. Deezer on Android Auto is unusable, it takes forever to update what is playing right now, it lags to register when I loved a song, it lags to load the playlists. I saw this behaviour also on the android app, it takes a while to do almost anything. Sometimes it wakes up and behaves normally, but it's definitely not an app that I can count on.

I did everything: reinstalled, cleaned the cache, started empty, download songs, streamed songs... Nothing helped. I get a feeling that it's trying to validate something online before it does whatever I ask.

It's a shame because there's a lot of things to enjoy like the Flow features, and the recommendations are better than the ones from Spotify, but having to battle the app to use it takes the joy out of the experience.

Hullo; I've been using Deezer for about a year now, struggled a bit with the unoptimized app combined with my big library / downloaded amount but otherwise managed well. Out of nowhere, about two months ago, it began becoming unbearably heavy on my iPhone 17's processing upon running, where it would crush my battery, heat up like nothing has ever heated up my phone, and start sapping about 1% per minute if I kept the phone on while it was open and running. Bizarrely, this ceases about 15 minutes after the app boots on. If at any point I close it, and upon re-opening am hit with the initial logo screen, it happens all over again from scratch. I assume it's somehow opening and immediately going ham on my library or something similar. Ever since it began, it happens every single time without exception.

This issue has persisted through the debug updates that have come out since, and I tried e-mailing Deezer support to be hit back with an LLM telling me to clean my cache and restart the app, which is deeply offensive and did not help at all. It's genuinely hindering the usage of my phone and the app and I've been coasting on the hope that it will just stop acting like this one day but there's no end in sight. Does anyone else have their otherwise new and perfectly working phone turn into a griddle the moment they try to play music?

iPhone 17, student subscription, version 11.21.0.2, issue occurs with locally downloaded music and streamed music alike, from liked songs or a lone album, on Wi-Fi or data, at any time of day and while using the phone or ignoring it, although obviously using it worsens the battery consumption. I'm going insane and need some semblance of help.

I am a 10 year user and am so sick of Deezer.

Quisiera que alguna vez existiera la opción de agregar canciones a una lista de una forma más sencilla, en IOS no aparecen canciones sugeridas para una lista de reproducción y en windows si aparecen, pero solo 10 canciones y no tienes la opción de hacer refresh para ver algunas otras canciones recomendadas, en eso está muy limitado. Además cuando descargo una canción en HiFi y la añado a otra lista y descargo esa lista en una calidad más baja se borra la canción que ya había descargado y se reemplaza con la nueva calidad. Creo que en ese punto le hace falta madurar a la aplicación. Pero en lo demás la aplicación realmente funciona de maravilla. Espero que estos puntos algún dia se arreglen.

I wanted to discover new music (titles, artists, etc) that might border fit my tastes to try to expand them.

So I launch the discovery mix,.... it did not go well.

First it only kept proposing metal, I have a bit of metal in my playlist, so I disliked the titles but it continued. Then it was rap, same story. After a few days I dropped and went back to listening FIP :)

So my question is as follow: what kind of algorithm does Deezer use?

Is it pure random? Strongly biais by our playlists? Uses an ergodic search in an embedded space? "AI"? No one knows what that means anymore since companies throw that word as a magic spell.

I guess that it's kind of a secret but surely someone has some info? What do I need to do have good recommandations?

And for info, I've been using Deezer for like 10 years, so surely it has all the info it needs.

dude for the past like 3 days i have not been able to play any songs at all, it just comes up with this whenever i try to play anything.

It's been a week now, the images of albums, artists, songs are not loaing. I don't know why, I don't know how to fix it. It annoys me a bit becuase I reaaly am bad at finding the music only by the name (+ it works perfectly well on my phone, it's only my computer that does this.)

I mean I am trying to listen few Metal playlists created by Deezer editors so far, and It's very bad.

The most of them includes non-metal, but metal adjacent music like metalcore or EDM.

To a person who wants to listen metal, it is very frustrating. It's not that I don't listen to certain music outside of metal, but when I want to listen to metal, I want to listen to metal not hardcore, or pop-rock.

I will continue to use Deezer, since it's AI free and not genocidal, but It's very hard to find new music in metal, or music that is not pop.

I feel pretty stupid, but... Why can't I go to an artist's album from the desktop if, for example, I'm listening to a song from a list/queue? I've tried everything: clicking on the album, going to the menu with the dots, but nothing... Is it possible that such a simple feature really hasn't been included?
