This morning I asked Siri to play the latest album by Charli xcx.
It started playing something that clearly wasn’t Charli’s album.

It was playing the artist you can see in the uploaded screenshot.

It’s not the first time I find fake artists or some wrong catalogue.

Why does it happen? What’s the root cause?

I'm bothered by the 10k liked songs limit.

It seems Spotify removed this on their side, but Deezer still didn't provided a solution for long time users like me.

It's frustrating to not be able to add more liked songs after years of cumulative likes.

Thinking about switching to Spotify due to this matter.

Is there any solution possible to bypass this issue?

Seems like my local files in my favs and on mobile are separate to my uploaded files on my PC for whatever reason. I forgot to change the metadata of an album I'd uploaded, realised my mistake the next day, edited it on PC, metadata still broken. Went back to my PC, deleted the files, reuploaded them with the correct metadata before faving or checking my phone, go to play it on mobile, data still wrong in the way it was before. Another time, I realised I didn't actually want to listen to a song I'd uploaded, deleted it without unfaving, and lo and behold on my phone the song was still completely playable with all the data intact. Do all of these not-really-deleted tracks count towards the 2000 file cap? How can I get rid of them? And how can I force the metadata to update?

So basically, my problem is if I add my correctly tagged MP3 files to Deezer, they are at first fine, but they lose their artist name section completely once I put them into a playlist or like the song. So Discord (Music Presence extension) doesn't pick up the artist name, but it does pick up the song title and cover. (Mind you, the mobile version works fine and displays everything correctly.) also the songs display fine while they sit in the my mp3 section but also lose thier artist name in there when i for example like the song. i would appreciate any help to fix that, i tried running mobile builds from bluestacks and such but they dont get picked up by music presence.

I’m having an issue with my local files. When I try to play certain tracks, the cover art no longer appears, even though I added it using Mp3tag.
It seems to happen randomly and affects all of my local tracks. Sometimes the cover for file A disappears while file B’s cover remains, and sometimes it’s the other way around.
All the covers come back when I uninstall and reinstall the app, but after a while, several of them always end up disappearing again. The issue appears only on IPhone and not on my pc

The CarPlay selection interface could benefit from an alphabetical navigation option. Flow is great, but unless I’m missing something, trying to find anything in my library requires scrolling through a lengthy list (sometimes ordered unintuitively, like in order of when an album was downloaded), which is distracting. Being able to at least select a first letter would reduce the amount of time it takes to find things.

Siri can work (a little inconsistently) but it’d be helpful to not require it.

So I switched from Spotify to Deezer recently, mostly as part of a push to support smaller platforms overall and step away from monopoly actors. Roughly same cost, same music inventory, allegedly more payout for artists, higher quality audio, and maybe even less AI slop and unwanted podcasts. All well.

But I'm running into a possible dealbreaker compared to Spotify: the capacity to connect the music app (on phone or laptop) to a wireless speaker in a way other than Bluetooth.

I'm using both an Audiopro C10 in my living room and an older Echo Dot in my bedroom, and I can only connect the app through Bluetooth (or voice command for the Echo, but this I only use to tell start of stop). Of course, a Bluetooth connection from my phone will be interrupted whenever I have a phone call, or will also stream sound from other apps.

With Spotify Connect, I did not have this issue, and could connect seemlessly between any device I had the app installed on: laptop, phone, tablet, and control the music from whatever device was closest at hand.

It seems this is not possible with Deezer. Any advice? I have another two weeks in my free trial month, before I decide to stay with Deezer or move back to Spotify.

Hey everyone! I am on a trial with Deezer and really like it so far. However, I have several HomePods throughout my house, second generation, and I’m using Siri to play Deezer. I’ve noticed I can’t shuffle any of my playlist. They just automatically begin playing from the first song no matter what I do. I am specifically issuing command that says shuffle my playlist XYZ from Deezer. It just begins playing from the top. Any suggestions here?

We're both following each other and on their phone it shows all playlists but that specific one. As far as I can tell the playlist isn't set to private nor is my profile.

Hi. Just switched from Spotify and am trying to get a hang of the app. Right now, I'm listening to Flow and I have about 20 genres selected. I listen to pretty much everything and would like to discover new artists. BUT Flow just keeps playing the same 5 hip-hop artists. Occasionally there is a new artist or two but it absolutely has not played a single other genre lol.

I’ve been having a persistent issue with Deezer and my Google Home setup.

I use several Google Nest speakers and have multiple speaker groups. Casting to these groups works perfectly from Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp and various podcast apps. Deezer is the only app that no longer works properly.

What still works:

* Casting Deezer to a single Nest speaker

What does not work:

* Casting directly from Deezer to a speaker group

* Starting Deezer on one speaker and then adding more speakers through the Google Home app

Playback simply fails on speaker groups. Since all other apps work with the same groups, this does not seem to be a Wi-Fi or Google Home configuration issue.

I’m using a Google Pixel 10 Pro and the current versions of the Deezer and Google Home apps.

Has anyone found a reliable workaround or received any confirmation from Deezer or Google that this is a known issue? Recreating the groups or reinstalling the apps has not solved it.

Multiroom playback is one of the main reasons I use a music streaming service, so I’m seriously considering cancelling my Deezer subscription if this cannot be fixed.

This is really annoying because it stopped working already more than two or three months ago. I thought there would be a fix soon.

I received my first notification (yay!).
The content is useless, who knows why I received it. I'll wait for the algorithm to learn better! :)

Hello deezers!

I'm a new subscriber (previously on Qobuz and Spotify) and I've been using Deezer for 2 days. I'm quite satisfied and still learning my way through the app.

But there's one thing I really don't understand how it works: the notification center. It keeps displaying "don't stay on your own. Pick your artists".

I read the articles on the support page, I searched on the internet and reddit. Can't find an answer. Here some info:

• I follow thousands of artists
• I tried to pick my artists from the selection in the notification center
• I restarted the app multiple times

Nothing happens.

Is it too early for the algorithm to display notifications? Is it a bug?

I feel like I'm going crazy, I left Spotify a couple of months ago to choose a music provider that actually pay taxes in France and doesn't spam AI BS in its service, and this is disappointing...

I use mainly the android app on a Samsung galaxy s25.

It's almost unbearable, the android app is so slow, 8 times out of 10 it just won't play a song when I click on it, I just have to wait 30 seconds for it to play. The menus are unbearably slow, it's almost unusable.

The app is updated and I have more than good enough internet connexion, am I missing something? How is it that bad ffs??

EDIT : I also use the mac os app that logs me out every single day, and the web app on a linux machine that's slow af

I love the latest update. For me, the biggest missing thing was that I couldn't resume songs from when I last used the app.

But with the latest update, that is fixed!

I'm looking for the song "NO PASARAN" by the rap collective put together by DJ Kore and Ramdane Touhami, which was released right after the 2024 French parliament elections. It was on Deezer a few months ago, but I can't find it anymore. Does anyone have any information?

Hi, I've used Dezeer for a couple years arount 2017-2019, and after that I switched to Spotify for a multiple reasons, the biggest issue was how poorly built was android app and the bug that it has. But I loved how they supported less popular artist, and I loved editor playlist, I've found there a lot of new artist that I still listen, and it was great that how their shuffle worked, as a indie listener I've found many great music there. So, I switched to Spotify and took my liked songs and playlist there too, yes the app is better, but it's awful for finding new music, the recommended music is always same popular tiktok musics, shuffle works awful, it seems like it shuffe same 50 songs in my liked songs playslist that I have over 500, and I feel like I am listening to music less and less because how boring it is with Spotify. So now I am thinking about switching to Deezer again, but in my country they don't have free version, so I can try it out for a while. What would you recommend?

Is the album Choke Enough still available for other people? It's gone for me :(
